When all the usual side dishes had time to get bored, it is worth cooking the pumpkin, fried in a pan. This is an original complement to meat dishes. And you can serve a vegetable prepared in this way, and as an independent lean / vegetarian or just a light and nutritious dish.

Fried pumpkin in a pan with garlic

This treat is considered to be an excellent substitute for fried potatoes, beloved by everyone.

It turns out less caloric and allowed for use even on some diets.

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - a pound;
  • flour - 3 dessert spoons;
  • assorted fresh herbs - 70 g;
  • garlic - 3 to 4 cloves;

  • peeled pumpkin - half a kilo;
  • butter fat - 60 - 70 g;
  • cinnamon - 1 - 2 pinches;
  • apples (sour) - 3 pcs.;
  • sugar - 5 dessert spoons;
  • water - ½ tbsp .;
  • raisins - 1 small handful;
  • chopped walnuts to taste.

Cooking:

  1. Chop the pumpkin in miniature cubes. The smaller they turn out, the tastier the dessert will be and the faster it will be prepared.
  2. Also chop apples without peel and cores.
  3. Combine the prepared fruits in a cast-iron skillet with melted butter.
  4. Top with sugar (half) and cinnamon.
  5. Close everything with a tight lid and simmer on low heat a little less than half an hour. Stir frequently.
  6. Add pre-washed seedless raisins and the rest of the sugar. Do not cover the container with a lid.
  7. Cook the dish until a light caramel crust appears on the fruit and vegetable slices.

Breaded pumpkin

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 330 - 350 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • bread crumbs - ½ tbsp .;
  • flour - 30 g;
  • salt, oil.

Cooking:

  1. Chop the peeled vegetable in large, but thin slices.
  2. Beat eggs in a separate container with a pinch of fine salt. No need to achieve a state of thick lush foam. It is enough that the components of the eggs mix well.
  3. First, roll pumpkin slices in flour, sprinkled on a flat plate.

  • vanillin - to taste;
  • cooking oil.

Cooking:

  1. Chop up the pulp of pumpkin into slices.
  2. Dip the pieces in a pan with any heated oil.
  3. Fry until a crisp appears on top of the slices and softens them inside. Great for making pumpkin according to such a deep fryer recipe. True, oil in this case will be spent uneconomically.
  4. To prepare sweet sauce, mix fat sour cream, granulated sugar and vanilla. You can beat the ingredients with a blender / mixer.

With pine nuts

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - a pound;
  • butter (not less than 72%) - 30 - 40 g;
  • cinnamon (crushed) - on the tip of a spoon;
  • sugar - 5 dessert spoons;
  • peeled pine nuts - 1 - 2 handfuls.

Cooking:

  1. Wash and peel the vegetable. Cut it into pieces. Each should be at least 6 cm long and about ½ cm thick.
  2. Melt the butter in a cast-iron skillet.
  3. Sauté pumpkin slices over moderate heat. Do not close the pan.
  4. When the pumpkin becomes rosy, sprinkle it with sugar and cinnamon. Close the lid and simmer the mass on the slowest fire for 6 - 7 minutes.

With spicy tomato sauce

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 1 kilo;
  • flour - 80 g;
  • ground paprika and coriander seeds - a large pinch;
  • ripe tomatoes - 4 - 5 pcs.;
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves;
  • cilantro greens - to taste;
  • salt, oil.

Cooking:

  1. To prepare a pumpkin with an unusual piquant sauce, first you need to cut it into medium slices. The thickness of each should not exceed 1 cm. A hard peel must be cut off from the slices.
  2. Mix milk and flour separately. Roll the pumpkin in this mixture. Leave on for 12 minutes.
  3. Shake off excess dry mass from pieces, fry until golden brown in a large amount of oil.
  4. Pieces of tomatoes without skin should be sent to a separate frying pan with oil. Add chopped garlic, all spices and chopped herbs. To salt. Coriander seeds are pre-crushed.
