Onion and egg jellied pie is a very delicate and tasty treat. Preparing the dough and filling takes a maximum of about twenty minutes, but in the end you get baked goods that can be served for breakfast or dinner, with tea or chicory. Jellied pie with eggs and green onions has several cooking variations, and the best ones are provided in this article.

Classic jellied pie with egg and green onions

Dough:

  • 4 eggs;
  • ½ tsp salts;
  • 7 tbsp. l flour;
  • ½ tsp soda;
  • 200 ml of sour cream;
  • 1 tbsp. l mayonnaise.

Filling:

  • 6 hard boiled eggs;
  • bunch of onion feathers;
  • salt.

With the filling, everything is simple: boil the eggs in advance, chop into a cube; rinse the onion feathers, also chop. Mix everything in one container and salt, set aside for a while.

Now you need to cook the dough:

  1. Using a mixer, combine the eggs with mayonnaise for several minutes.
  2. Add salt and sour cream to the egg-mayonnaise mixture, work again with a mixer.
  3. At the end, introduce soda and flour, beat for about five minutes. The consistency is rather liquid. Leave for a quarter of an hour for the soda to complete the reaction.

The dough is ready. There is very little left: preheat the oven at 180 degrees, lightly grease the mold with oil, pour half of the dough into it, lay out the filling gently and fill with the remaining mass. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes, checking its readiness from time to time. When the top is well browned, the oven can be turned off, and after a quarter of an hour, remove the finished jellied cake with an egg and green onions from it.

On a note. French onion pie is prepared in a similar way, but with a slight difference: try adding a little grated cheese to the filling, a couple of pinches of nutmeg and hot pepper.

With rice

The dough is used the same as in the previous recipe, but we suggest modifying the filling a little.

  • eggs - 2;
  • rice - ½ cup .;
  • turmeric - ¼ tsp;
  • onion feathers - 50-70 gr;
  • dill - a pair of twigs.

A feature of this filling is the preparation of rice - it is boiled with the addition of turmeric, a spice of a yellow tint. It will not only change the color of the cereal, but also give an interesting flavor note.

So, we wash the rice several times with cold water, fill it with a glass of water and set to boil. Immediately add turmeric, salt with a pinch of salt, mix well and cook over low heat.

Meanwhile, boil and chop eggs, rinse the onion and chop. Repeat the same with dill.

When all the ingredients have been prepared, mix everything together. Next, use, as usual - spread between the two parts of the batter.

With canned fish

Dough:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 400 ml of kefir;
  • tsp salts;
  • tsp Sahara;
  • ½ tsp soda;
  • 250 grams of flour;
  • 3 tbsp. l fast. oils.

To begin with, we connect with a mixer all the components except flour. We work with a whisk for several minutes. After pouring flour and whisk again, until all the flour lumps are dissolved. Pour the last oil, mix literally a minute.

Filling:

  • bunch of onion feathers;
  • a can of canned fish (saury or sardines);
  • 2 eggs;
  • salt and pepper.

We put the eggs to cook. Meanwhile, rinse the onion feathers and chop with a knife. Drain the liquid from canned food, leaving just a couple of teaspoons - it will be easier to knead the fish with a fork, but at the same time, a large amount of liquid can make the cake too “wet”, watery.

Boiled eggs are also chopped. Mix, salt and pepper.

Lubricate the form with butter, put half the dough, filling and fill with the rest of the dough. With a silicone spatula, level the surface.

Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.

On a note. The readiness of the pie can be checked with a toothpick - pierce it with the middle of the pie. If it stays dry, then the cake is ready.

Jellied pie with eggs, green onions and potatoes

We suggest making a pie with potatoes, but add it not to the filling, but to the dough. This will make the cake quite unusual in taste.

  • egg - 1 for the test and 1 for the filling;
  • sour cream - 200 ml;
  • flour - 350 gr;
  • oil cl. - 50 gr;
  • mashed potatoes - 500 g;
  • a pinch of baking powder;
  • grated hard cheese - 60 g;
  • onion feathers - a bunch.

Put the oil in advance from the refrigerator to make it soft. Combine it with mashed potatoes, sour cream and an egg. Stir well with a fork. After introducing grated cheese, mix again and at the end introduce flour mixed with baking powder. Mix. The consistency will be quite thick. If the dough is too steep, you can add a couple more tablespoons of sour cream and an egg.

Prepare the filling by chopping a boiled egg and onion.

Next, cook, as always - to separate the dough evenly: put the first part in a greased form, then - the filling, at the end the rest. Bake until cooked.

Based on puff pastry

  • finished puff pastry - 450 g;
  • boiled eggs - 3;
  • onion feathers - 5-7 units;
  • chicken yolk.

Chop the eggs and onions, mix. You can add some salt.

Defrost the dough, divide into two layers and roll out. Spread the filling in equal amounts on one half of the layer, leaving the edges free. Cover with the second half, carefully pinch the edges. Beat the yolk, grease them with puffs. We spread the pies on a baking sheet sprinkled with a thin layer of flour. Bake a third of the hour at 180 degrees.

Quick recipe for kefir

The kefir pie is very airy thanks to the fermented milk product.

Filling:

  • eggs - 5 hard boiled units;
  • green onions - 200 gr;
  • fast. oil - 70 gr;
  • pepper hammer. - 1 tsp;
  • salt - 1 tsp.

Dough:

  • kefir - 400 ml;
  • drain. oil - 70 gr;
  • egg - 2;
  • salt and sugar - ½ tsp;
  • baking powder - 1 tsp;
  • flour - 270 gr.

For registration:

  • yolk;
  • milk is the table. l

The filling is prepared incredibly fast: chopped boiled eggs and onion feathers in medium size, mix with the rest of the ingredients. Oil is needed for the juiciness of the filling.

Next, turn on the preheat oven, as the dough is prepared very quickly. Suitable temperature is 180 degrees.

Cooking the dough: beat the egg with salt and sugar with a whisk. Pour kefir and add half the flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly. After we introduce the remains of the flour, sifting it in small portions. Melt the butter and pour into the dough as well. Work well with a whisk or mixer - the last one the dough is better and faster mixed.

Next, put the cake in the mold and send it to the oven for 40 minutes.

Beat the yolk with milk, grease the cake and set it for another 10 minutes.

On a note. Butter can be replaced with spread or margarine.

On a yogurt in a slow cooker

Onion jellied pie with eggs can be cooked using a slow cooker. Very tender pastries are obtained if the dough is prepared with natural yogurt.

  • 7 boiled eggs;
  • 4 table eggs;
  • 250 g of natural yogurt without additives;
  • ½ tsp. salts and soda;
  • 2 bunches of green onions;
  • 7 table. l flour.

Beat yogurt and raw eggs with a mixer. The mass will become light and slightly foamy. Now you can salt, add soda with flour. Work with the mixer again. Leave for a quarter of an hour in a warm place.

Cooking the filling: boiled eggs and onions, cut into medium cubes, mix with each other. You can add some salt.

We cover a multi-cooking container with a thin layer of oil. Pour half the fill, spread the egg-onion mass in a uniform layer, fill with the rest of the dough.

Set the "Baking" mode for 45 minutes. 5-7 minutes before the end, using the steaming bowl, turn the cake over on the other side, so that it also turns brown on the upper side.
