Fragrant spicy Japanese curry - the most popular dish in Asia based on spicy sauce. Usually it is served with a carbohydrate side dish, for example, rice. Often, Japanese curry is eaten simply with freshly baked bread, croutons, and bread rolls.

Chicken Curry with Vegetables and Rice

This simple tasty dish is good for lunch and dinner.

Ingredients:

  • curry paste - ¼ st .;
  • carrots and onions - 1 pc.;
  • sweet apple - half;
  • poultry meat - 380-400 g;
  • chicken broth - 3 tbsp .;
  • rice - 1 tbsp .;
  • salt pepper.

Cooking:

  1. First of all, you need to boil the rice until fully cooked in salt water.
  2. Finely chop the onion and brown on any fat. Pour into it small cubes of chicken, grated carrots. Cook foods until soft vegetables and discoloration of the bird.
  3. Pour in the broth, pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. After 10 minutes add grated apple without a peel.
  5. Transfer curry paste to the mass. Mix everything well. Warm the mixture for a couple of minutes.

Mix the finished sauce with rice and serve the table.

Cooking Potato Dish

Interesting that Japanese treats can even be cooked with potatoes. In this case, it turns out to be especially satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • chicken meat - half a kilo;
  • onions and carrots - 1 pc.;
  • potatoes - 3 tubers;
  • curry paste - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • ground ginger and spicy curry - 1 tbsp each. l .;
  • chicken broth - half a liter;
  • rice - 280-300 g;
  • salt, oil.

Cooking:

  1. In a frying pan with heated oil, send potatoes, carrots, onions, cut into small pieces. Sauté the ingredients over medium heat with frequent stirring.
  2. Add curry paste and all the spices. Pour in small pieces of chicken.
  3. Pour salted broth over everything. Boil.
  4. Under the lid, simmer the chicken dish for about half an hour. The sauce should thicken well.
  5. Separately cook rice until cooked.

Serve the vegetable curry with chicken, complementing it with a side dish of rice groats.

Thai duck cooking

It should be noted right away that this treat is very sharp. It is definitely not worth giving to the smallest gourmets.

 

Ingredients:

  • duck breasts without fat - 3 pcs.;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Thai curry paste (red) - 6 tbsp. l .;
  • hot water - 2 tbsp .;
  • coconut milk - 380-400 ml;
  • fish sauce and chopped fresh ginger - 3.5-4 tbsp each. l .;
  • red, white onions and pineapple - half;
  • sweet pepper - 1 pod;
  • rice - 1 tbsp .;
  • salt.

Cooking:

  1. Slices of white onion and garlic in a blender bowl. Enter ginger, fish sauce and curry there. Pour in some coconut milk. You can add a pinch of sugar to taste. Kill the ingredients until smooth. Add hot water to them. Mix everything well.
  2. Pineapple, red onion and sweet pepper cut into small arbitrary pieces.
  3. Rinse and fry the breasts on one side so that fat is leaked from them. Set the bird aside.
  4. Send all the vegetables to the fat pan. Brown them. Cook until soft. Add the pieces of duck. Fry the bird until cooked.
  5. Pour the mass from the first step and the remaining coconut milk. Salt everything to taste. To languish for 8-10 minutes. If the sauce does not have time to thicken, you need to add a little more time.
  6. Boil separately until cooked rice.

Put boiled cereals on plates. Top with a serving of duck with vegetables. Pour all the hot sauce.

String Bean Meat

For such a Japanese dish, beef tenderloin is best suited.

Ingredients:

  • green beans - half a kilo;
  • fat-free beef - 200-250 g;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • fresh dill - 1 bunch;
  • anise seeds - 1 pinch;
  • cloves - 4 buds;
  • sweet paprika and curry - 1 tbsp. l .;
  • salt and oil.

Cooking:

  1. Cut the meat into thin long sticks. Fry it in hot oil over high heat until crisp.
  2. Pour in about 1 tbsp. salted water. Close the meat with a lid and simmer for 40-45 minutes to make it soft.
  3. At the very end, add all the declared seasonings and spices, as well as chopped garlic and herbs. Darken for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Separately stew the string beans until soft.

Arrange the beans in portioned plates. Put meat on each one and pour plenty of sauce on the treat.

Japanese curry with pork

If various types of curry with rice are usually served, then according to this recipe, the treat is prepared exclusively with potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • pork (neck) and potatoes - 380-400 g each;
  • cream - a full glass;
  • curry - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • green onions - a small bunch;
  • white onion - 1 head;
  • cherry - 6 pcs.;
  • salt.

Cooking:

  1. Cut potatoes into medium sized slices. Boil until fully cooked in salt water.
  2. Finely chop the white onion. Fry until tender. Add pork neck sticks to it. Cook the ingredients together until the meat is brown. Salt everything to taste.
  3. Pour cream into a skillet, add curry. Simmer the mixture over low heat until the sauce thickens. To taste, add salt to it.
  4. Drain the water from boiled potatoes. Add the sauce to it. Mix everything thoroughly.
  5. Sprinkle a treat with chopped green onions and cherry halves.

Whatever Japanese curry recipe is chosen, you must strictly follow all these steps and clearly measure the number of spices. Only in this case, the dish will turn out really tasty.
