Azerbaijani baklava recipe

In the preparation of this dessert, purchased dough is used. You can also pre-cook a large amount of dough yourself, and portionwise freeze.

Grocery set:

  • yeast-free puff pastry - 400 g;
  • butter - 40 g;
  • chicken yolk - 1 pc.;
  • walnuts - 150 g;
  • liquid honey - 150 g;
  • icing sugar - 50 g;
  • ground cinnamon - 5 g.

Cook, following the sequence:

  1. Leave a few walnuts for decoration, chop the rest. This can be done in any convenient way: in a blender, in a mortar, you can even put nuts in a bag, tightly close and beat with a rolling pin. The degree of grinding of nuts can be different: someone likes large pieces, and someone likes fine nut dust. Mix the crumbs with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  2. Defrost and roll out the dough so that it shines through. When working, follow the instructions on the packaging. Cut the resulting layer into 6 parts.
  3. Take a square shape, oiled. Put a sheet of puff pastry. Lubricate with butter, put a part of the nut mixture, cover with a layer of dough. Repeat this step until the top sheet is the last sheet of dough.
  4. Grease the future baklava with yolk, cut into rhombuses. On each rhombus put half a walnut. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees 45 minutes.
  5. It is good to saturate the finished product with honey and let it brew from ten minutes to several hours.

Serve a sweet treat with black or green tea without sugar.

Fast Cupcakes with Honey

Even with a minimum of products, you can get tasty pastries in a hurry.

 

Product List:

  • warm water - 125 ml;
  • liquid honey - 30 g;
  • granulated sugar - 50 g;
  • sunflower oil - 65 g;
  • wheat flour - 160 g;
  • soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • salt to taste.

Technology:

  1. Mix the liquid components thoroughly in the container.
  2. Sift flour with soda and salt into a bowl, mix. It should get a fairly liquid consistency.
  3. Pour the dough into cupcakes half height. Put in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.

To decorate this simple delicacy, you can use powdered sugar, various confectionery sprinkles or decorative glaze.

Oatmeal cookies

Hearty and healthy pastries with honey and cottage cheese can be an excellent breakfast, all the more so since it is prepared very simply.

Product List:

  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • sugar - 30 g;
  • butter - 40 g;
  • honey - 30 g;
  • oat flakes - 100 g;
  • cottage cheese - 150 g;
  • flour - 30 g;
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp.

Technology:

  1. Beat the egg, sugar, honey and softened butter in a container.
  2. Put the container in a water bath, stir until the products are completely dissolved.
  3. Add oatmeal and wait until they swell. Add cottage cheese and flour with baking powder, mix.
  4. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, spread the mixture with a tablespoon. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

This recipe can be varied by adding any nuts, candied fruits or dried fruits. To make the cookies tender, it is better to take oatmeal finely ground or grind ordinary cereal in a coffee grinder.

Quick sour cream pie

This cake is called quick because it takes a minimum of time to prepare it, you just need to mix the ingredients, and the oven can handle the rest. Instead of sour cream, you can take kefir, yogurt or yogurt.

 

Product List:

  • sour cream - 200 g;
  • flour - 250 g;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • salt - 1/4 tsp;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp;
  • honey - 60 g.

Follow the cooking sequence:

  1. Mix the egg, sour cream, salt and sugar and beat with a whisk.
  2. Continuing to beat, add flour with baking powder.
  3. Pour the resulting dough into a greased mold and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
  4. Cool the finished cake slightly, cut in half with a knife or thread and soak in honey. Connect the halves, let stand and soak for another hour.

Such a cake can be decorated with different patterns. One of the options: cut out the heart of the paper from the size of the cake, put on top and sift the icing sugar. On the Internet you can find patterns of such drawings, or come up with something of your own.

Honey gingerbread cookies

This dessert is wonderful because it is stored for a very long time, you can immediately bake a large batch and enjoy a delicious gingerbread for a whole week.

Product List:

  • honey - 250 g;
  • premium flour - 450 g;
  • sugar - 75 g;
  • butter - 30 g;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • baking powder - 1 tsp;
  • cinnamon - a pinch.

Technology:

  1. Heat honey, butter, sugar, cinnamon at the minimum heating level, stirring, bringing the mass to a hot state. It’s important not to boil!
  2. Sift the flour into the container, add the baking powder, beat the egg, introduce the warm honey mixture. Knead the dough and put to rest in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  3. Roll out the dough so that it is a finger thick. Cut the gingerbread cookies with a glass or a special shape. Put on a baking sheet, oiled and sprinkled with flour. A sufficient distance must be left between the gingerbread cookies, because they will still rise.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Honey gingerbread will be an excellent decoration for the Christmas tree, if you previously make a hole in it with a cocktail tube.
