Note. Sour cream can be used of any fat content, but when choosing a product, consider the total calorie content of the dish. So, 3 tbsp. l 25% sour cream contains 80 kcal more than the same amount of 10%.

How to cook meatballs with rice in a pan with gravy:

  1. Boil the rice groats in water until half cooked for 15 minutes.
  2. Grind carrots on a grater, chop the onion into cubes.
  3. Fry vegetables in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Combine minced meat, rice, onions and carrots. Salt and pepper.
  5. Drive an egg into the meat mass and mix thoroughly.
  6. Form balls with a diameter of 5-7 cm. Fry in a small amount of vegetable oil until browning for 3-4 minutes. on each side over medium heat.
  7. For the sauce in a separate bowl, combine water and sour cream, season with spices, add flour. Mix thoroughly with a whisk until smooth - there should be no lumps.
