I add rice to chicken meatballs - this way they keep their shape better. And I make gravy based on sour cream with the addition of vegetables. Try it, it is very tasty!

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast - 1 pc.;
  • rice - 100 g;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • sour cream - 200 g;
  • water - 1 cup;
  • flour - 2 tbsp. l for breading and 1 tbsp. l in the sauce;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - for frying.

On a note. If you want to make the dish fatter, put it in minced meat and skin from the breast or make it from other parts of the bird - drumsticks, thighs.

How to cook minced chicken meatballs with rice in the oven:

  1. Boil the washed cereal for 10 minutes in salted water - you do not need to bring it to readiness. Then strain and let cool.
  2. Scroll chicken and garlic in a meat grinder.
  3. Add the egg, cooled rice, spices and salt, knead.
  4. Make small balls from minced meat, roll in flour and fry in vegetable oil. The fire should be medium, the cooking time is 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Put the meatballs in a baking dish at some distance from each other. The size of the dishes should be small, otherwise the gravy will spread on it, and the meatballs will not be so juicy.
  6. Now make the sauce: in the same pan, sauté the onion over medium heat until soft - 3-5 minutes. Then add the grated carrots and cook the same amount.
  7. Mix sour cream with flour until the lumps disappear, dilute with water.
  8. Add to vegetables, let the mass boil.
  9. Pour gravy meatballs and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.

This dish can be served without a garnish - vegetable sauce with sour cream may well replace it.

I’ll add zucchini to the meatballs from ground beef, and I’ll make the sauce spicy - I’ll put the garlic in it. Cilantro will give an additional flavor to the dish.

Ingredients:

  • ground beef - 400 g;
  • small zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • starch - 1 tbsp. l .;
  • flour - 2 tbsp. l for breading + 1 tbsp. l in gravy;
  • sour cream - 300 g;
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves;
  • cilantro - a bunch;
  • water - 1 cup;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - for frying.

On a note. If you do not like cilantro, take basil, dill or other herbs with a pronounced aroma.

Operating procedure:

  1. Rub the zucchini on a fine grater (if it is young, with a thin skin, you can not clean it). Salt the “shavings” and put in a colander - let the allocated juice drain.
  2. Chop the onion finely and add to the minced meat along with the egg, salt and spices.
  3. Now enter zucchini and starch well-squeezed from the liquid, mix thoroughly.
  4. Form from minced meat 6-8 small balls, at the rate of 2 pcs. for 1 serving, roll in flour.
  5. Warm the vegetable oil in the multicooker bowl and fry the workpieces for 5-7 minutes on each side. The mode is “Frying”.
  6. While the meatballs are browning, make the gravy - dilute the flour and sour cream in water, add crushed garlic and finely chopped cilantro, mix.
  7. Pour the sauce to the meatballs, close the appliance with a lid and cook in the "Stew" or "Baking" mode for 30-35 minutes.

On a note. Depending on the size of the balls, they may reach readiness a little earlier or later. Break one serving with a fork - the meat inside should be gray, without pink spots.

The combination of meat and cottage cheese seems unusual, but only at first glance. The meatballs are prepared with sour cream sauce, so why not use another sour-milk product and add it directly to the minced meat? With those who are willing to try, I share the recipe for this dish.

Ingredients:

  • minced pork - 700 g;
  • cottage cheese - 300 g;
  • hard cheese - 50 g;
  • nuts (hazelnuts or walnuts) - 50 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • flour - 100 g (you can take bread crumbs);
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • lemon zest - from 1 fruit;
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves;
  • greens - a bunch;
  • tomatoes (fresh or canned in their own juice) - 500 g;
  • broth or dry red wine - 1 glass;
  • balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - for frying.

Tip. Since pork is quite high-calorie, cottage cheese should be taken with low fat content, the lower the better.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan, simmer nuts over a low heat for 3-4 minutes, crushed with a rolling pin to a medium-sized crumb.
  2. Chop the onion finely, pass the garlic through a press. Add to nuts and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Then cool.
  3. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve and lay to the pork. Drive an egg there, introduce lemon zest, flour or crackers, cheese crushed on a grater, finely chopped greens. Lastly, add nuts with onions and garlic.
  4. Salt and season the mass, mix and put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, then remove and form small balls from it.
  5. Fry portions in preheated vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. Make the fire medium. You can use the same dishes where nuts with onions and garlic are stewed.
  6. In another frying pan (deep), prepare the gravy - heat the tomatoes cut into thin slices or medium cubes over low heat without adding butter until they begin to give out the juice, then pour the broth or wine, balsamic vinegar, add a little salt. Cook, stirring, until the mass is ready to boil.
  7. Put meatballs in the sauce and simmer under the lid for 20-25 minutes. Fire should be minimal.

A garnish of mashed potatoes, buckwheat or other cereals is perfect for such a dish.
