Cheese sticks are an excellent snack option for friendly gatherings, a festive table or a variety of daily menus. We offer several different cheese snacks that you can quickly cook with your own hands.

Puff pastry cheese sticks

Cheese sticks made of puff pastry will not leave you indifferent, and the aroma of baking goodies will gather all the household members in the kitchen in advance.

Great for snacks.
  • sheet of finished puff pastry;
  • 50 g of grated hard. cheese;
  • egg yolk;
  • 2-4 pinches of ground pepper.

Beat the yolk with a fork.

Defrost the dough sheet in advance. Roll out a piece of parchment. Grease on top with yolk, wipe with cheese and sprinkle with pepper.

Next, carefully cut the workpiece with ribbons 1 cm thick.

We heat the oven to 180 degrees. We send parchment into it with blanks of cheese sticks and an oven for 5-7 minutes.

Batter recipe

Cheese sticks in batter are quite juicy and very tasty:

  • 250 gr hard cheese;
  • 2 eggs;
  • a stack of water / fresh milk;
  • a few pinches of salt;
  • stack flour;
  • vegetable oil for deep fat.

Cheese is cut into cubes approximately 10 cm long and 1 cm thick.

For a batter in a bowl with a whisk, beat the water, eggs, salt and flour.

Then it remains to cook the sticks themselves. To do this, heat the oil, dip the cheese cubes in batter and immediately lower it into hot oil. Fry for a minute or two. Then we remove all the sticks with a slotted spoon, put it on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Breaded

Breaded cheese sticks turn out to be unusually tasty: when warm, the cheese filling keeps a slightly liquid state, which makes the treat even more palatable.

The recipe is very tasty and simple.

Based on two servings, you will need the following number of products:

  • hard cheese - 200 gr;
  • egg - 1;
  • flour - ½ cup .;
  • breadcrumbs - ½ cup .;
  • fasting oil refined.

Pour crackers and flour separately into two saucers.

Shake the egg with a fork.

Cut a slice of cheese into strips, carefully roll in sifted flour.

Pour oil into a pan and heat.

Dip the cheese sticks in flour into the egg mass, then roll in the breading.

Put the sticks in oil and fry on all sides until golden brown.

A simple option of pita bread

Lavash cheese sticks are prepared as follows:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 processed cheese;
  • 2 table. l drain. oils;
  • garlic clove;
  • a couple of sprigs of dill;
  • Armenian pita bread.

Cheese is frozen in the freezer for 5-7 minutes, then cut into thin ribbons.

In the bowl, beat the eggs.

Separately squeeze the garlic and finely chop the dill, mix everything well.

We divide the pita bread with a sharp knife into wide strips (approximately 8–9 cm long and 10–11 cm wide). In each strip we put a couple of cheese ribbons, a little garlic with herbs. Then we wrap the filling in pita bread to make a roll.

Dip them in egg mass and fry in butter until appetizing goldenness.

On a note. Lavash cheese rolls are recommended to be served with a sauce of sour cream, fresh herbs and salt / pepper.

Beer snack with sesame seeds

A cheese snack with sesame seeds will be your favorite home-made treat. Cheese sticks with sesame seeds are well suited not only for beer, but also for wine (preferably white).

The appetizer will go with beer.
  • hard cheese - 200 gr;
  • drain. oil - 150 gr;
  • flour - 1 glass .;
  • sugar - ⅓ tea l .;
  • coarse salt;
  • egg;
  • sesame seeds - 15 gr.

We put the oil at least an hour before cooking in the freezer - it will need to be grated, and it will be easier to do with frozen oil.

Three butter and cheese in a wide bowl, sift the flour and add sugar. Manually knead the dough - at first in appearance it will look more like buttery crumbs than soft, airy, elastic dough. After a few minutes, when the butter melts, the dough will become soft and soft to the touch, will not stick to your hands and you can roll a ball out of it. The dough is obedient. To make it convenient to form products from it, we make the ball a little flat, wrap it in a film or bag and send it to the freezer so that it freezes a little.

In the meantime, beat the egg until the foam and a more or less homogeneous state of the liquid.

We take out the dough from the freezer, remove it from the film and roll it out a little. Next, you need to form cheese sticks - they should be about the same so that they can bake equally well inside.

There are two options:

  1. Pinch off approximately the same pieces of dough and roll them with sausages of the same length and thickness.
  2. Squeeze out identical circles in a stack, which they then roll into sausages.

Put the appetizer on a baking sheet with parchment sheet. Grease the egg mass on top, lightly salt and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

The snack is baked for 10-15 minutes. You need to focus on a golden hue.

Fried cheese sticks

  • 500 g hard cheese;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 50 gr cream;
  • stack flour;
  • 2 stack bread crumbs;
  • Lent oil for frying snacks.

Chop the cheese with chopsticks.

Beat whisk cream with eggs until smooth.

Pour flour and crackers separately on saucers.

Heat oil in a pan. Roll the cheese block in flour, then dip in the creamy-egg mass and then roll in breadcrumbs. Spread in hot oil immediately. When the product acquires an appetizing golden hue on all sides, remove from the pan to a plate with paper towels.

Crab Stick Options

Cheese appetizer with crab sticks can be made in the form of delicious balls. The appetizer is suitable in case you need to quickly set the table or just for a festive feast.

Such a dish will decorate any holiday table.
  • 100 grams of crab sticks;
  • 50 g cheese is hard. varieties;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 garlic clove;
  • 2 table. l mayonnaise;
  • several branches of fresh dill or feathers of onions;
  • a few pinches of salt.

Boil hard-boiled eggs, cool in cold water, clean.

Grate cheese, eggs and sticks in a bowl for making snacks, squeeze garlic with a press, season with salt and mayonnaise.

Using a tablespoon, gain a little mass and manually roll into a ball. Put them on a dish, sprinkle with chopped herbs.
