Shawarma is almost the best dish for fast food. It can contain a wide variety of ingredients, but sauce can rightly be considered the main component. There are many varieties of it, but making shawarma sauce at home is quite simple.

Classic Shawarma Sauce

The sauce according to the classic recipe is prepared simply and quickly, and the result is very tasty. This cooking option resembles the one commonly used in fast food establishments. The necessary products can be found in any store.

For cooking you will need:

  • fermented baked milk - 50 ml;
  • sour cream - 50 ml;
  • mayonnaise - 50 ml;
  • garlic - 2 to 3 cloves;
  • lemon juice - 1 - 2 tsp;
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp;
  • salt to taste;
  • paprika - to taste;
  • curry - to taste;
  • hops-suneli - by eye.

Step by step recipe:

  1. It is necessary to prepare a container convenient for mixing and pour in the fermented baked milk. Mayonnaise and sour cream are sent there.

  • garlic - 2 to 3 cloves;

  • curry and suneli hops - 1/2 tsp.

Garlic sauce is a great option not only for shawarma, but also for other snacks. It is good because it is prepared from natural ingredients. Their flavor is quite neutral and perfectly complemented by garlic.

 

Components:

  • kefir - 50 ml .;
  • chicken yolks - 4 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil - 100 ml .;
  • mustard - 2 tsp;
  • garlic - 3 to 4 cloves;
  • salt and pepper (black and red) - 1/2 tsp;
  • parsley and dill - by eye.

Step by step recipe:

  1. First you need to make homemade mayonnaise. For this, chicken yolks, vegetable oil and mustard are combined in a separate vessel. With a mixer, everything is whipped to the desired consistency.
  2. Garlic is finely chopped with a knife, garlic press or on a grater.
  3. Kefir, mayonnaise and spicy garlic gruel are mixed together.
  4. Salt, peppers and parsley with dill are sent to the resulting mixture (the latter - optional).
  5. The sauce should be infused for several hours in the refrigerator.

This sauce also goes well with poultry dishes.

Real red sauce

This sauce looks original and is a useful alternative to harmful ketchup. However, its ingredients may not seem quite ordinary.

Essential Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes - 2 - 3 pcs.;
  • bell pepper - 1 - 2 pcs.;
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp. l .;
  • salt and pepper - to taste;
  • paprika - to taste;
  • onions - 1 - 2 pcs.;
  • tomato paste - 4 - 5 tbsp. l

Cooking method:

  1. Tomatoes are cut into small cubes.
  2. Onion chopped with a knife finely.
  3. Pepper is chopped into small strips.
  4. Onions, peppers and tomatoes are successively fried in olive oil.
  5. After a couple of minutes, tomato paste is introduced, spices are added, and the fire turns off.
  6. Once the mixture has cooled, you must grind it with an additional blender.

It is not forbidden to add hot pepper to the proposed composition to add piquancy to the sauce.

Diet dressing for PP shawarma

Even on a diet, you want to treat yourself to an appetizing shawarma. In this case, the use of dietary ingredients will help.

What is necessary:

  • natural yogurt - 100 g;
  • mustard - 1 tsp;
  • lemon juice - 2 - 3 tsp;
  • a mixture of peppers - 1/2 tsp;
  • coriander grains - by eye;
  • oregano - a pinch;
  • olives - 5 pcs.

Cooking method:

  1. Coriander grains are ground to a state of small flakes. Peppers and oregano are added. Everything mixes well.
  2. Olives are finely chopped beforehand.
  3. Spices, yogurt, mustard, lemon juice and olives are mixed in a separate vessel.
  4. Everything mixes well and sprinkled with herbs if necessary. To enhance the taste, you can insist on refueling in the refrigerator.
