Many people love puff salads: they are suitable for every day, can decorate the table for the holiday. In such dishes, a variety of products are combined, and the more the hostess has more imagination, the more refined and attractive the resulting treat.

Mushroom appetizer options

Mushrooms give a peculiar flavor to any dish, regardless of whether they are fried, pickled or salted.

Chicken and mushroom puff salad

If you need to provide a festive feast with something like this to surprise and please the guests, a salad with chicken and mushrooms, very similar to a mushroom clearing in the forest, and even with the name "Clearing" is a winning option.

For the complete illusion of mushrooms in the grass, you need to cook a salad in a deep pan or bowl.

To create such a miracle, you will need the following products:

  • small, whole, pickled champignons - ¼ kg;
  • carrot (you can use Korean, it’s also good for boiled) - take 150 g;
  • pickled onions - enough 150 g;
  • boiled potatoes - 3-4 tubers;
  • pickles - 2;
  • chicken eggs (boiled) - enough 3 pieces;
    green onions;
  • chicken breast, also boiled - not less than 200 g;
    mayonnaise;
  • sunflower oil (you need refined so that there is no odor) - a tablespoon will be just right.
    The walls and bottom of the dishes (bowls or pans) are greased with vegetable oil. Spread mushrooms at the bottom. Do this with the hats down.

We rub boiled vegetables on a grater from the side of medium-sized cells - carrots (if we do not use Korean), potatoes. Do the same with eggs.

Cut the chicken and pickles smaller, chop the onion feathers.

We do not mix the ingredients - each of them should be in a separate bowl.

On the legs of mushrooms we put green onions (it is perfectly replaced by parsley).

A layer of eggs lies on the greens. We coat it with mayonnaise. We will do this with each subsequent layer.

Now it's the turn of chicken meat. Behind it - pickles, then carrots and pickled onions.

We complete the process with a layer of boiled potatoes, and also cover it with mayonnaise.

To let the salad soak and become juicy, it must be kept in the refrigerator overnight.

Before putting the treat on the table, turn it over and put it on the elegant dish up with mushrooms. Here is the "Clearing".

By the way, in such a salad, chicken can be replaced with smoked sausage.

Puff salad with fried champignons

We tested the recipe with pickled mushrooms. Now we’ll build an appetizer using fried mushrooms. What might she need?

  • Mushrooms fried with onions (two small heads) - 300 g;
  • vegetable oil (it is better to take flavourless) - that is enough for frying;
  • 4 boiled eggs;
  • 2 potatoes, also boiled;
  • chopped kernels of nuts (walnuts will go better) - take 100 g;
  • hard cheese (our favorite variety) - 150 g is enough;
  • dill greens - a fairly small bunch;
  • mayonnaise;
  • a bit of salt.

Such a puff salad with mushrooms is good because it instantly cooks, it is not a shame to offer unexpected guests and even put it on the table for the holiday.

Bring the ingredients to the desired state.

  1. Mushrooms, onions, cut and fry in oil.
  2. Eggs, cheese, potatoes in turn pass through a grater.
  3. We do not just chop nuts - they will need to be crushed.

Now you can lay layers of food on the dish. Do not forget to cover each of them with a layer of mayonnaise.

First comes the potato. Next in line eggs (this ingredient can be pre-mixed with chopped dill). Then pour the nuts (save a little for later), spread the cheese layer (leave some of the cheese, it will come in handy later). And on it - a mixture of their fried mushrooms with onions.

Layer by layer, in the same order, we “build” our salad until the products run out. The final point is to sprinkle with laid cheese and nuts, and not only from above, but also from the sides. If you want, you can decorate the “cake” with small whole mushrooms and green dill.

Smoked Chicken and Mushrooms Dish

Since puff salads do not mind a wide variety of ingredients, the next recipe will use chicken, but this time smoked. The ingredient will give not only an original flavor, but also a light aroma of haze.

Tasty recipe:smoked breast salad

Product Composition:

  • fresh cucumbers - enough of 2 pieces;
  • smoked chicken breast - enough 200 g;
    3 hard boiled eggs;
  • champignons (better pickled) - 150 g;
  • green onion feathers;
  • mayonnaise.

We select a deep bowl - we will place the salad in it. We cover the dishes with cling film. We put eggs on it (naturally, already grated), a little tamp and soak with mayonnaise. Next, you can pour green onions (we chopped it finely), chopped mushrooms upstairs. Press both layers, hide the mushroom row under mayonnaise.

Fresh cucumbers, turned into straws, lay out with the next layer. After them, after mayonnaise, we send the smoked breast, also cut.

It remains to let the salad stand for at least a couple of hours in the refrigerator, and you can put the treat on the table, put it on the dish "upside down" and remove the film from it.

In general, puff salads are classified as heavy dishes, because they contain a lot of thick mayonnaise, sour cream or other sauces. As a rule, attempts to replace them with something less fatty and high-calorie lead to a loss of taste with a minimum gain in calories.

But there is an advantage: a similar appetizer can act as a full lunch or dinner.

Layered Crab Appetizer

Crab sticks are used for cooking a wide variety of dishes and salads. For puff salad, they are perfect.

Salad will be prepared from:

  • canned corn - enough ½ jars;
  • boiled rice (take a couple of glasses) or 2-3 tubers of boiled grated
  • potatoes (a vegetable will give satiety);
  • crab sticks - at least 200 g will be needed;
  • hard cheese, for example, "Russian" or "Dutch" - enough 150 g;
  • green onions;
  • mayonnaise.

The bottom layer - the “foundation" - is prepared by mixing rice with mayonnaise and finely chopped green onion feathers. We place this mixture in a ring, press it so that it lies tightly.

We will send the corn layer to the top, soaking it with mayonnaise. Then the line of crab sticks. Also cover with sauce. The final layer is grated hard cheese.

The advantage of the salad is that it can be served immediately.

With meat and pineapple

A layered salad with pineapple is a great option for an ordinary dinner, and for a festive meal. It differs not only with an attractive appearance, but also with a somewhat exotic pleasant taste, which provides a combination of fruit and chicken meat.

For the salad you will need:

  • boiled chicken meat - 300 g;
  • hard-boiled eggs - take 3 pieces;
  • pineapples, finely chopped - 200 g will be enough;
  • chopped kernel kernels (need walnuts) - a handful will be just right;
  • mayonnaise.

As usual, we will saturate each layer of ingredients with mayonnaise, but you should make sure that there is not too much sauce.

A layer of meat will go from below, we will lay a pineapple on it. Then coarsely grated egg whites, followed by yolks, but processed much finer. And the final touch is nut crumbs.

Puff salad Prague with prunes

It is very popular because of its original taste. However, you can always add new notes to it by experimenting with the components. For our version, pickle the onions in advance and pour the prunes with boiling water.

In general, the set will be like this:

  • a pair of boiled carrots;
  • 3 eggs - also boiled;
  • boiled fillet (chicken, rabbit or turkey) - 300 g is enough;
  • canned green peas - almost a whole 200-gram jar;
  • pickled onion head;
  • 4 pickles (namely pickles, not pickles);
  • prunes - 100 g is enough;
  • mayonnaise.

Grind all products. We cut the meat and fruit with a knife, and rub everything else larger. We collect the salad in the following sequence: chicken, onions, eggs, cucumbers, root crops of carrots, peas, prunes. And remember that each layer must be smeared with mayonnaise.

After half an hour, everything will leak out, and you can treat households and guests.

Fish Recipes

When preparing a puff salad, it is permissible to use fish instead of meat. It is no less tasty, but not so high in calories. Moreover, the fish is taken different in appearance and method of preparation. The result is impressive.

Layer salad with cod liver

The treat invariably attracts glances with its brightness. Another plus - they are in perfect harmony in taste. This means that the dish is a worthy competitor at the festive table for the beloved Olivier and herring under a fur coat.

We will need:

  • jar with cod liver;
  • 3 boiled potatoes, pickles and chicken eggs;
  • a pair of boiled root vegetables of carrots;
  • green onions - take a small bunch;
  • ground black pepper;
  • hard cheese (whichever we want) - enough 50 g;
  • mayonnaise.

We extract fish liver from the jar, let the sauce drain. Now you can mash (make it a normal fork) and mix with ground pepper. Take a grater: large - for potatoes, cheese, small - for root vegetables. We also process cucumbers on a coarse grater. We remove excess juice.

We divide the eggs into protein and yolk, each rubbed separately. Also with a fork. Chop the onion finely.

We put the salad in the following order: potatoes, liver, onions. And some mayonnaise. Next - cucumbers, proteins, carrots, cheese. Mayonnaise again. And finally, the yolk.

It turns out a bright sunny salad that does not require additional decor. After two hours in the refrigerator, you can start tasting.

With red fish

Are you considering a festive menu? Then include a puff salad with red fish. It is so tasty and rosy that you don’t have to regret the choice.And season it with unsweetened yogurt of medium fat content.

We will prepare a dish from:

  • 200 g slightly salted salmon;
  • boiled long rice - enough glass;
  • avocado - take one;
  • hard-boiled eggs - 3 pieces;
  • 2 boiled carrots of medium size;
  • yogurt.

The base of the salad will be rice mixed with yogurt. We also soak each of the following layers with yogurt: pieces of salmon, large fragments of avocado pulp, carrot "straws". At the end, decorate with grated eggs.

Sprats appetizer option

This recipe will be a real salvation if you need to build a quick, tasty and satisfying dinner from a minimum of products. The main thing to remember is that all of them should be sent to the salad chilled, and for cooking onions, you need to take less oil. Then the dish will come out not too fat.

You will need:

  • sprats - a can;
  • bulbs - 3 small;
  • boiled rice - enough glasses;
  • salt, mayonnaise;
  • hard-boiled eggs - take 2;
  • vegetable oil (preferably odorless).

Finely chopped onion heads in a frying pan will bring to a pleasant goldenness. Rub the eggs. By and large, the size of the fragments does not matter, but the protein and yolk should be in different dishes.

We put half the rice in a salad bowl, cover with onions. Mashed sprats will go as a third layer. Upstairs is some mayonnaise. Then come the squirrels, again the mayonnaise and the second portion of rice. As a decoration, sprinkle the top with yolks.

Salad does not have to be salted.

Orchid with Chips and Smoked Sausage

A recipe with smoked sausage is a wonderful opportunity to please guests with a beautiful and delicious dish. Salad with grated egg yolks and flowers decor with petals-chips reminiscent of orchids will become a real decoration of the holiday menu.

You will need products:

  • smoked sausage - take 200 g;
  • salted mushrooms (ceps or champignons are suitable) - 100 g;
  • the same amount of carrots in Korean;
  • two and a half boiled eggs;
  • hard cheese - 150 g is quite enough;
  • chips (preferably potato) - 50 g;
  • mayonnaise.

We collect the salad on a large plate, in a certain sequence, layer by layer, not forgetting the mayonnaise: carrots, mushrooms, рош crushed chips, sausage, cheese, eggs. Cover the top layer with mayonnaise! It remains to issue an "orchid" of whole chips.
