Sweet sausage made from cookies and cocoa is a dessert that is prepared very simply from available products, without the use of heat treatment. For its preparation, you can use cookies, which for some reason, did not like homemade. It is only necessary to enrich the taste of the raw material with candied fruits, dried fruits or nuts.

Classic sweet cookies and cocoa sausage

There are not so many options for a pastry sausage to date, and the housewives continue to experiment with the ingredients, coming up with new combinations. But the classic recipe for sweets, which appeared in the Soviet Union, when store shelves could not boast of a wide range, includes the simplest and most affordable products:

  • 400 g cookies;
  • 200 g butter;
  • 200 g of granulated sugar;
  • 90 g of cocoa powder;
  • 1 egg
  • 50 ml of milk.

Sweet sausage recipe step by step:

  1. Twist all the cookies in a meat grinder, but you can leave some of it broken into pieces about 0.5 cm. This, as they say, is a matter of taste.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter a little, then pour sugar, cocoa powder and add milk to it. Heat the saucepan until the oil is completely liquid and all sugar crystals dissolve in it.
  3. After that, remove the icing from the stove and allow it to cool quietly for ten minutes. Shake the egg with a whisk or fork, so that the yolk and protein become homogeneous, and pour into the cooled icing.
  4. Mix cookies and icing. From the resulting viscous mass, mold the sausage, pack it and cool until completely solidified. It may take a night in the refrigerator.

As a wrapper of the formed sausage, a cling film, baking parchment, foil or an ordinary plastic bag can act. In the latter case, the mass must be laid at its bottom and distributed in the form of a long cylinder.

Recipe as in childhood

This delicacy is associated in many with childhood. Even now, when you can buy a variety of sweets in stores, many people prefer to cook a pastry sausage because, firstly, it is tasty and, secondly, children can be connected to the cooking process. They will be both feasible and interesting.

For the recipe, as in childhood you need to take:

  • 500 g of cookies;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 100 ml sour cream;
  • 30 g of sugar;
  • 30 g of cocoa powder.

We prepare a confectionery sausage as follows:

  1. Using a blender or meat grinder, make crumbs from shortbread cookies.
  2. Put the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan, mix, and boil over medium heat.
  3. Pour the icing into the bowl with a crumb of cookies, mix everything thoroughly. If suddenly the mass is too dry, you can eliminate this by adding sour cream.
  4. Fashion a sausage, pack it in foil and put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies.

With condensed milk

A cream that combines loose ingredients is quite possible to prepare not only from ordinary cow's milk, but also from condensed milk. In this case, you don’t even need to use the stove, so it’s just right to deal with such sweet cooking with the children, and before that you need to measure:

  • 600 g shortbread cookies;
  • 370 g of condensed milk;
  • 200 g of soft creamy butter;
  • 100 g of cocoa powder;
  • 100 ml of warm water.

Cooking:

  1. Half a kilo of cookies turn into fine powder, smash the rest with medium slices.
  2. In another container, mix cocoa powder and warm water, add condensed milk and soft butter. Stir the cream thoroughly with a whisk or mixer.
  3. Pour all the cookies into a container with cream, carefully mix the mass and form one or more oblong sausages. Wrap the blanks with foil, and after four hours in the freezer, the sausages are ready to serve.

The finished product can be rolled in cocoa powder, nut crumbs, coconut powder or icing sugar. The last boning will add a realistic resemblance to a real sausage.

With nuts

Walnuts are indicated in the recipe for this sweet sausage, but they can be replaced with any other to your taste (peanuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts, almond petals). Conventional sunflower seeds will also look spectacular on the cut.

Nuts and other necessary products are used in the following proportions:

  • 200 g shortbread cookies;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 90 g of granulated sugar;
  • 80 g of walnuts;
  • 50 g of cocoa powder;
  • 45-50 ml of fat cream (can be replaced with milk).

How to make a sweet sausage:

  1. Fry walnuts in a hot dry skillet to enhance their taste and aroma. Then chop them with a knife or a blender, but so that large inclusions are preserved in the nut mass.
  2. Grind half of the total amount of cookies to dust and the other half into larger pieces. At this stage, the assistants of the hostess will be a rolling pin, knife and blender.
  3. Pour nuts and cookies in one container, which will fit in size.
  4. In a large saucepan (to fit a mixture of cookies and nuts), mix cocoa, cream and sugar. Put the mixture on medium heat and (very important!) Constantly stirring to bring to a homogeneous liquid state and boil.
  5. Set aside the boiled cocoa paste from the stove, cool for a bit and put the cubed butter into it, mix so that it completely dissolves.
  6. Now mix the cookies with nuts into the chocolate cream in parts. From a thick viscous mass, form a sausage, wrap it in cling film and send it in the cold until it hardens.

Chocolate sausage made from simple cookies with a banana

This chocolate sausage from ordinary cookies produces the taste of a delicious dessert, thanks to the tart sourness of prunes and the creamy sweetness of a banana.In addition, this delicacy immediately from the refrigerator and slightly thawed will be perceived differently by taste buds.

The ingredients used in the creation of dessert:

  • 300 g simple shortbread cookies;
  • 300 g butter;
  • 200 g of nuts;
  • 200 g of prunes;
  • 1 banana
  • 100 g of granulated sugar;
  • 90 g of cocoa powder;
  • 30 ml of brandy or liquor;
  • 5 g nutmeg;
  • 5 g of cinnamon;
  • 10 g vanilla sugar.

Sequencing:

  1. Cut each prune into two or three pieces. We chop nuts with a kitchen knife. Crush the cookies with your hands and sprinkle with cognac, then mix with dried fruits, nuts and spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), mix the resulting mixture.
  2. Pour cocoa powder into sugar. Beat soft butter with a larger mixer using a mixer, gradually adding sugar with cocoa. Grind a banana (preferably not overripe) with medium cubes.
  3. Combine all the ingredients of the cake with butter cream. On the table, spread the cling film, put the resulting mass on it. Form a sausage, wrap it in a film and let the dessert freeze in the cold.

How to make toffee?

This option of pastry sausages will appeal not only to children, but also to adults. The finished treat will have a recognizable aroma of chamomile chocolates, but if the sausage is prepared exclusively for children, the “adult” ingredient can be omitted.

What will be needed in the cooking process:

  • 200 g shortbread cookies;
  • 150 g of toffee sweets;
  • 150 g butter;
  • 100 g of cocoa powder;
  • 15-30 ml of brandy.

Work algorithm:

  1. Grind cookies into dust and mix them with cocoa powder.
  2. Remove the wrappers from butterscotch and put them together with butter in a saucepan. Warm the mixture over medium heat, not forgetting to constantly stir. As soon as the mixture becomes homogeneous, add cognac.
  3. Combine butter and toffee cream with cookies and cocoa. Using a quick circular motion, connect all the components, as the cream quickly sets, and mold the sausage.
  4. Wrap the blank and hide in the freezer for two hours or just leave it on the shelf of the refrigerator for the night.

Quick and easy recipe

If compared with other options of this dessert, then such a sausage is prepared very quickly, and it consists of only four components, which should be taken in such a proportion:

  • 300 g shortbread crumbs;
  • 90 g of cocoa powder;
  • 150 g butter;
  • 150 g of boiled condensed milk.

Quick and easy cooking method:

  1. Remove oil from the refrigerator in advance and leave it overnight at room temperature. By the beginning of cooking, it should become a soft creamy structure.
  2. Beat the creamy butter with a mixer with boiled condensed milk in an air cream. Separately sprinkle crumbs of cookies and cocoa powder, stir. Combine cream and bulk ingredients.
  3. Carefully knead or knead the mass, form an oblong cylinder from it and, after solidification in the refrigerator, can be served with tea.

 

Confectionery sausage can be prepared not only in the form of a cylinder, candy balls can be formed from the mass, and each of them, for example, dipped in chocolate icing or hidden inside nuts.
