Bulgarian, it is sweet, pepper is often used to prepare various salads. Its juicy, slightly crisp pulp goes well not only with all vegetables, but also with almost any food product. Hundreds of salad options with bell pepper are known, among which you can find a dish for every taste. Let us consider in more detail only some of them.

Winter pepper salad

Sweet pepper is today considered the leader among vegetables that are used for homemade workpieces.

Containing a large number of different vitamins and minerals, it is able to support the human body in the winter cold. Each mistress, of course, has her favorite recipe. For example, you can consider the simplest version of a salad of bell pepper for the winter. It does not require additional sterilization, which significantly reduces the time required for its preparation.

The following ingredients will be required for operation:

  • bell pepper - 2 kg;
  • onions - 1 kg;
  • table vinegar - 65 ml;
  • natural honey - 105 g;
  • apples (it is better to take sweet and sour varieties) - 1 kg;
  • vegetable oil - 70-85 g;

salt - 10 g.

Phased technology:

  1. The first step is to prepare the vegetables. In apples, cut the peel, remove the core, and grind the remaining pulp with medium slices. Wash the pepper, free from seeds and partitions, and then arbitrarily cut into longitudinal plates. Crushed onion husk crumble in half rings.
  2. Put prepared foods in a deep pan.
  3. Add salt, oil, honey and mix well. Leave the vegetables in this condition for an hour. During this time they will start up juice.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid and put on fire. After boiling, cook for about a quarter of an hour with constant stirring.
  5. Pour vinegar and mix thoroughly again.
  6. Transfer the still hot mass to sterilized jars. Roll up with metal covers, and then wrap well and leave for a day to cool. Store preservation in a cool place.

From such a quantity of products, approximately 3 liters of ready-made salad with bell pepper should be obtained. In winter, it will be an excellent addition to fish or meat, as well as a juicy and very fragrant cold snack.

Simple appetizer with cabbage

In the vegetable season, a simple but delicious coleslaw with bell pepper is ideal for the daily menu.

You will need products that can always be found in the kitchen:

  • sweet pepper - 200 g;
  • salt - 10 g;
  • white cabbage - 1 kg;
  • carrot - 200 g;
  • sugar - 175 g;
  • vinegar 9% - 50 ml;
  • onions - 200 g;
  • vegetable oil - 100 ml.

To make such a salad, you must:

  1. Gently chop the cabbage into strips and put in a bowl. Sprinkle the crushed product with salt (5-6 g), mash a little with your hands and leave aside for a while.
  2. Cut the peeled onions into thin half rings. So that the product does not get bitter in the salad, it must be pickled. To do this, first slices of onion should be doused with boiling water, and then sprinkle with the remaining salt, add a little oil, sugar, vinegar and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Peeled carrots and peppers also crumble straws.
  4. Collect all prepared vegetables together. Add the remaining sugar, pour oil and vinegar, and then mix thoroughly.

In just half an hour, the salad can be tasted. But for a better taste, it is desirable that he stood in the refrigerator for at least a day.

With chicken on the festive table

Vegetable salad, for example, can be supplemented with poultry (preferably chicken). It will turn out a juicy and at the same time nutritious dish, which is ideal for a festive feast.

For this option, you can take:

  • Bulgarian pepper - 2 pods;
  • chicken fillet - 300 g;
  • cheese (any hard) - 100 g;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 pc.;
  • salt;
  • dill greens;
  • mayonnaise.

Preparing such a salad is also very simple:

  1. Boil the meat. At this time, you can wash the vegetables. Pepper clear of seeds and remove all partitions.
  2. All ingredients (boiled fillet, cucumber, cheese and pepper) cut into equal cubes.
  3. Finely chop the dill.
  4. Put the crushed components in a plate, salt, pour with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

Given the color gamut of the original products, such a salad with bell pepper on the table will look very nice.

From tomatoes and sweet peppers

To slightly diversify the boring daily menu, you can prepare a light salad of tomatoes and sweet peppers. In the summer, due to the abundance of vegetables, this option is especially relevant.

  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.;
  • medium-sized tomatoes - 4 pcs. (you can take 2 red and 2 yellow);
  • green onions - 1 bunch;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • coarse salt - 5 g;
  • sour cream - 50 g.

Even a teenager can cope with the preparation of such a salad:

  1. Rinse vegetables and onions well. Peel the garlic.
  2. Gently chop the tomatoes into large slices.
  3. Chop the onion arbitrarily.
  4. To clean the pod of pepper from the seeds, divide lengthwise into 4 parts, and then cut each of them into thin strips.
  5. Pass the garlic through a crush.
  6. Fold the products in a bowl, salt, season with sour cream and mix.

It is better to eat such a salad immediately after preparation, until it has started juice. It can be served as a snack or as an addition to boiled pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.

How to make beef

Alternatively, in a salad with bell pepper, you can also add boiled or roast beef. The dish immediately becomes more satisfying and can even replace a light lunch or dinner.

 

There is one interesting recipe that will require:

  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • bell pepper - 2 pcs.;
  • lemon juice - 20 g;
  • beef pulp (boneless) - 250 g;
  • red onion - 1 head;
  • table mustard - 15-20 g;
  • salt;
  • olive oil - 50-70 g;
  • ground pepper.

Cooking Method:

  1. Rinse the meat, dry it, and then cut into cubes. Fry with the addition of oil, sprinkled with a little salt and pepper.
  2. Peel the tomatoes and sweet peppers from the seeds, and then gently cut into strips.
  3. Chop the onion in half rings.
  4. Separately prepare a dressing by mixing lemon juice with oil and mustard.
  5. Collect all prepared components in one container.
  6. Pour crushed products with fresh dressing and mix well.

To make the salad look more appetizing, on top it can be decorated with fresh herbs (sprigs of parsley or dill).

Tasty ham and pepper salad

For the festive table, you can also make an original cocktail salad with bell pepper and boiled ham.

Such a dish is usually prepared in portions and served in special glasses.

To work, you need to take:

  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.;
  • cucumber - 2 pcs.;
  • fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;
  • boiled ham - 150 g;
  • egg - 3 pcs.;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • mayonnaise;
  • sour cream.

How to make puff salad:

  1. For dressing, mix mayonnaise with sour cream. If desired, you can use only one of these components.
  2. Boil eggs and grind with large holes.
  3. Grate cheese in the same way.
  4. Cucumber, peeled seeds and ham equally cut into strips.
  5. Now you can start assembling. First, put a portion of the dressing (about 0.5 teaspoon) at the bottom of a clean glass.
  6. Further, the products are stacked on top of each other in a certain sequence: ham, egg, dressing, cucumber, dressing, pepper, dressing, cheese.

Ready salad from above must be decorated with greens.
