Prague salad has a delicate taste and will appeal to everyone, even the most fastidious gourmets.

It can be prepared for a festive dinner or just diversify the daily diet. The ingredients listed below can be replaced with similar products, depending on taste preferences. Cooking does not take much effort and time. The salad has several interpretations, each option is delicious in its own way.

Classic salad Prague - delicious specialties

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • sirloin piece of pork (400-500 g);
  • 3 boiled eggs;
  • a glass of canned peas (without water);
  • large carrots, 1 pc.;
  • large onion, 1 pc.;
  • 3 medium pickled cucumbers;
  • pitted prunes, 300 g;
  • dressing mayonnaise.

Pork is better to take young, but lean. A piece of meat is washed and put in a pan with water, cooked over low heat until the meat becomes soft. It usually takes 1-1.5 hours. While pork is cooked, cut onions into small cubes and pass it over medium heat with vegetable oil. Boil the carrots until tender, cut into a medium cube. Prunes are washed well under water, dried on a towel, and then cut into 2 or 4 parts. Cooked pork is chopped with a knife. All of these ingredients are stacked in layers. The meat layer is laid first, then coated with mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. After they put onions with carrots and are also coated with mayonnaise. So lay each layer. At the end, prunes are laid. Salad is ready to be served.

Cooking with Chicken and Prunes

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • chicken fillet (400-500 g);
  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • can of peas;
  • large carrots, 1 pc.;
  • large onion, 1 pc.;
  • 2 medium sized pickles;
  • pitted prunes, 300 g;
  • dressing mayonnaise.

Boil the chicken in salted water for 30 minutes and cut into a medium cube. Boil eggs and carrots and grate. Finely chopped onions are passaged in oil until golden. Prunes and cucumbers are chopped with a knife to pieces 1-2 cm. The ingredients are not mixed together and laid in layers, smearing each layer with mayonnaise. This component can be replaced with sour cream.

Tip. Make homemade mayonnaise. Just a few minutes and the sauce is ready!

With sausage and cheese

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled sausage, 300 g;
  • hard cheese, 200 g;
  • canned green peas, 200 g;
  • prunes, 200 g;
  • boiled egg, 3 pcs.;
  • onion head;
  • medium carrots;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream, 200 g.

The recipe is easy to prepare and takes a little time, since it uses sausage, which can be selected as desired. The onions are pre-fried until tender, and the carrots are cooked for half an hour over medium heat. Then the vegetables are mixed together. The remaining components are cut into medium cubes and spread into a large deep container in even layers. Each layer is smeared with mayonnaise. Grated cheese is sprinkled on top.

Fried Carrot Recipe

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled chicken fillet;
  • carrots, 2 pcs.;
  • onion, 2 heads;
  • can of peas;
  • a handful of prunes;
  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 2 pickled medium cucumbers.

The carrots are ground on a grater, passaged until half cooked in vegetable oil, chopped onions are added and roasted for another 5 minutes. Chicken fillet is placed in a salad cup in an even layer, spread with mayonnaise, add fried vegetables and a layer of mayonnaise on top. Next, chopped cucumbers and peas are laid out, passed with mayonnaise. At the final stage, grated eggs and prunes are added.

With ham and mushrooms

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • ham 300-400 g;
  • mushrooms, 300 g;
  • onion, 1 pc.;
  • carrots, 2 pcs.;
  • prunes
  • green peas, a can.

Mushrooms fit champignons. They can be purchased in any form: fresh, canned or frozen. Pre-mushrooms must be fried for at least 20 minutes; at the end of frying, finely chopped onions are added. Carrots are boiled until soft. The listed products are diced, but not mixed. In a deep bowl spread the ham, smear tablespoons. mayonnaise, then vegetables, mushrooms, carrots, peas, prunes. After each ingredient, coat the layer with mayonnaise. You can squeeze a clove of garlic to it. He will give the salad a touch of piquancy. The final layer is laid prune.

With the addition of bell pepper

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled chicken breast;
  • green peas, a can;
  • medium boiled carrots;
  • medium onion;
  • pitted prunes, 200 g;
  • medium sized bell pepper, 2 pcs.
  • 2 boiled chicken eggs.

The boiled chicken breast is separated from the bones and sautéed for 5 minutes in oil. Then pass the onions. Bell pepper and other components are cut into pieces of 1-2 cm. The ingredients are not mixed and put into a salad bowl in layers. The first layer is laid chicken, then carrots and onions, bell pepper. After each new ingredient put mayonnaise. The last layer is prunes. Bell pepper will give the salad a juicy vegetable and enhance the notes of sweetness that the dried fruit gives.

Prague Salad with Beans Recipe

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled chicken;
  • boiled eggs;
  • prunes
  • a jar of red beans;
  • a pair of boiled carrots;
  • a pair of pickled cucumbers.

Beans are washed under water from juice. These components are cut into cubes of medium size. First, put the chicken fillet in a salad dish, then distribute the mayonnaise evenly on top. Then put the cucumbers and carrots and again greased with mayonnaise.Then spread the beans, boiled eggs and prunes. Lubricate the last layer with mayonnaise.

With beef

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • sirloin of beef;
  • medium onion;
  • 2 pcs. boiled carrots;
  • can of green peas;
  • prunes
  • boiled chicken eggs, 3 pcs.;
  • 3 pickled cucumbers.

The loin of beef, pitted, is suitable. The meat should not contain many veins, otherwise it will be chewed for a long time and hard. Beef is boiled for 1.5-2 hours, until it becomes soft. Chicken eggs and boiled carrots are rubbed on a coarse grater. Cucumbers and boiled beef are cut approximately the same size. The salad is layered. Products are laid in a certain sequence: first, chicken, then eggs, vegetables, peas, cucumbers, prunes. After each ingredient, smear with mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

With smoked sausage

Ingredients used (for 4 persons):

  • smoked sausage, 300 g;
  • green peas, 300 g;
  • eggs, 3 pcs.;
  • pickles, 2 pcs.;
  • a handful of prunes;
  • boiled carrots, 2 pcs.

The listed components are crushed with a knife to medium cubes. Products do not mix with each other, but are cut separately. Layers of sausage, carrots, eggs, prunes, cucumbers and peas in layers for cooking. Before putting a new product, the previous one is abundantly greased with mayonnaise.

With apples

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled chicken, 400 g;
  • sweet and sour apples, 2 pcs.;
  • boiled carrots, 2 pcs.;
  • can of peas;
  • prunes, 150-200 g;
  • medium onion.

The apples are peeled and crushed with a knife. Chicken fillet, carrots are cut and placed in a salad bowl. Onion is chopped and passaged in vegetable oil until tender, and then transferred to a carrot. Top the first layer is smeared with mayonnaise and peas washed under water are added, again passed with a small amount of mayonnaise and chopped prunes are added to the end.

Salad Prague with Prunes and Walnuts

 

Used ingredients (for 4 persons):

  • boiled chicken breast or filet;
  • a handful of prunes;
  • a handful of peeled walnuts;
  • pickled cucumbers, 3 pcs.;
  • boiled carrots, 2 pcs.;
  • canned peas, 300 g;
  • boiled chicken eggs, 2-3 pcs.

The listed components are finely cut, walnuts are crushed. Lay layers of chicken, carrots, cucumbers, peas, eggs, prunes in a salad bowl. Each layer is copiously greased with mayonnaise. Walnuts complete the salad, they can also be used to decorate and effectively serve.
