Classic Mimosa salad with saury

A proven recipe includes a minimal list of ingredients. Products: 3 pcs. hard boiled eggs, half of onion, standard jar of saury in oil, 2 potato tubers, carrots, mayonnaise, salt.

Especially tasty is the treat, if you add hard cheese to it. Ingredients: a jar of saury in oil, onion, 3 chicken eggs (hard boiled), boiled carrot, 2 boiled potatoes, 80 g of cheese, salt, mayonnaise, 4 large tablespoons of vinegar.

Fruits should be used sour or sweet and sour. Sweet fruits can ruin the taste of fish salad. Ingredients: large apple, 280 g of potatoes, 220 g of canned saury, 4 pcs. chicken eggs, 180 g of hard cheese, large onions, mayonnaise, salt.

  1. Potato balls are cooked "in their uniforms", peeled and rubbed on a grater with medium divisions.
  2. Boiled eggs are divided into components. Squirrels rub coarsely and yolks finely. Cheese - on a grater with medium divisions.

What can replace saury in a salad?

As already noted above, saury can be safely replaced with other canned fish in the salad under discussion. It is best to choose a sardine or sardinella for this. From this, the taste of the finished snack will not change at all. For example, sardine is somewhat drier than canned saury, but this can be easily corrected by adding a little oil from the can to the fish mass.

In addition to these canned foods, it is allowed to take some other types. For example, pink salmon, salmon or pollock. True, such a replacement will significantly affect the result.
