Cooking with canned fish, cheese and eggs

Stuffed pita bread is a versatile dish that can diversify our daily diet with healthy and nutritious food.

Ingredients Composition:

  • eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • thin pita bread - 4 pcs.;
  • garlic cloves - 2 pcs.;
  • cheese (Suluguni, Mozzarella, or Adyghe) - 200 g;
  • sprats in oil - 1 can;
  • high-quality (preferably homemade) mayonnaise - 200 g;

Cooking method:

  1. We cool hard-boiled eggs, free them from the shell, grind on the smallest grater cells. We process cheese in the same form.
  2. Sprats are usually advised to knead with a fork, but it will be difficult to distribute such fish "gruel" over thin pita bread. Let's go the other way! Carefully cut each fish along the ridge.
  3. Pass the garlic through a press, combine with mayonnaise, mix well.
  4. If we have large square pita bread at our disposal, we divide the sheets. Grease one part ½ amount of garlic sauce, then evenly sprinkle ½ cheese chips.
  5. We cover the layer with the second half of the layer, apply unused mayonnaise mixture to it, then scatter the remaining cheese.
  6. Now spread the pieces of fish, occupying them the entire width of the sheet. We turn the pita bread into a very dense roll so that it is convenient to cut, while maintaining the placed filling. We pack the product in foil or film, send it for half an hour to the refrigerator.

Before serving, we cut the “sprat sausage” slightly obliquely. We form portions up to 2 cm wide, put them on a dish and elegantly serve.

With cream cheese

Cold salads are usually prepared as a quick and light snack, preceding a "solid" meal. We get a hearty, nutritious and very tender roll with fish and cream cheese.

Grocery list:

  • canned sardines in oil - 1 can;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • Armenian pita bread;
  • processed cheese - 150 g;
  • homemade sour cream - 50 g;
  • olive oil - 50 g;
  • spices and spices.

To prepare a quality roll, we do not buy pita bread thick and lush, but thin and delicate with a mouth-watering aroma in the absence of a smell of raw dough.

Order of preparation:

  1. For those who do not really like mayonnaise, we make another tasty impregnation. We combine olive oil and thick sour cream in a bowl. Proportions can be changed according to preference. Add your favorite spices and seasonings, carefully mix the components of the sauce.
  2. We clean the boiled eggs, rub grossly. Cream cheese is sent for 40 minutes to the freezer, after which it is easily processed on medium grater cells.
  3. We get the sardines from the oil composition, do not stretch the fork too hard.
  4. Expand pita bread on the table. We cut a large sheet into rectangles, which we lubricate with the prepared sauce. Mentally divide the reservoir into three parts. On one we have the egg composition. We spread the fish mass next to it, fill the empty space with cheese chips. Sprinkle the ingredients of the dish with chopped herbs.
  5. The edges of the thin cake are not occupied by products. After finishing the filling, we tuck the empty sides of the sheet. We twist the roll as tight as possible, wrap the product in a layer of film and leave it in the refrigerator for several hours for final soaking in the sauce.

With fish filling and cucumber

The list of components:

  • mayonnaise - up to 50 g;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • canned fish (tuna, pink salmon, trout) - 1 can;
  • fresh cucumbers (not very large) - 2 pcs.;
  • dill.

Stages of cooking:

  1. The way to design a snack is not much different from previous methods, but it has an advantage: the fish component can be changed, getting new interesting variations.
  2. Expand the unclean sheet, if desired, divide it into parts. We process pita bread with mayonnaise.
  3. Knead with a fork, the fish separated from the liquid. If there are large bones and ridges, it is better to remove them. The resulting mass is placed on a cake in a thin layer.
  4. We clean the boiled and chilled eggs, rub grossly, pour into the fish portion of the filling.

Three-layer pita roll with canned fish

Experiments with how to place the filling in unleavened dough sheets give very interesting results. A multi-layer product using recycled seafood looks especially delicious.

Required Products:

  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • canned fish - 1 can;
  • pita bread - 3 sheets;
  • fresh mayonnaise - up to 50 g;
  • sprigs of greenery.

Cooking Technique:

  1. We reveal a sheet of Armenian tortillas. If necessary, cut it into rectangles. We process the surface of the product with thick sour cream or mayonnaise, sprinkle with cheese chips and part of chopped parsley. We turn the layer with the filling into a tight roll.
  2. Boil eggs, cool and peel, chop with small crumbs. We pour it on the second pita, also greased with white sauce. Now we place on the edge of the cakes the freshly formed roll, roll it together with a new layer.
  3. We apply mayonnaise on the third rectangle, sprinkle with the remaining greens, distribute the pieces of canned fish crushed to a state of mashed potatoes (we pour the juice or oil beforehand).

  • small fresh cucumber.

  1. We free the clove of garlic from the husk, chop into plates, grind in a mortar with a pinch of salt.

  4. We divide the cucumber in half together with the peel, then dissolve the thinnest long plates.

  6. We unfold the crab sticks cut across.
  7. We process lavash leaf with mayonnaise, arrange the prepared filling in rows, without stirring the products. We place the lettuce slices in the first strip, then place the egg composition, lay the fish behind it, then the crab component and, finally, the cucumber plates.
  8. We tuck in the edges of the pita bread, twist the thin cake with the most dense tube as possible. We fix it in foil or film and leave it for several hours in the refrigerator for impregnation.

We divide the roll into portions. An open section shows that the pieces of crab sticks provided the updated snack with its former leadership position.

With tomatoes and bell pepper

The combined filling of canned fish and fresh vegetables makes the taste of pita roll especially bright and expressive.

Product Composition:

  • eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • sardines in oil - 2 cans;
  • green pods of peppers - 2 pcs.;
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • thin pita bread - 2 pcs.;
  • spice.

Cooking process:

  1. Finely chop the peeled eggs.
  2. We wash the vegetables, thoroughly get wet with paper towels. Bulgarian peppers are freed from stalks and seeds, chopped into small strips. We chop the tomatoes into cubes.
  3. We remove the sardines from the butter, slightly knead, combine with chopped eggs and vegetables. Season the ingredients with spices and spices, mix thoroughly.
