Minced meat roll with egg in the oven is one of the best alternatives to purchased sausage. Classic minced meat roll with egg in the oven

Roll is considered a universal snack, but it is especially in demand on the Easter table, when boiled eggs rule the culinary ball - a symbol of longevity and the triumph of Christian life. However, religion has nothing to do with it - the appetizer is quite universal, if you use homemade chicken and ground beef instead of pork. The special charm of the dish is that you can cook it in advance: it is beautiful in any form, cold or hot. But here it is important to observe one condition - to wind the stuffing yourself, choosing lean slices of meat.

For the roulette we will prepare:

  • 500 g of fillet and 500 g of beef;
  • 4 chicken eggs;
  • egg protein - 1 pc;
  • onions - 2 medium heads;
  • black pepper, salt, herbs - to taste.

First of all, we cook three eggs and cool in cold water: they should be perfectly cleaned for a beautiful cut of the future roll and the integrity of its structure. We twist the meat in a meat grinder, add beaten egg white, carefully beat it off. Chicken roll is much more tender than beef and much more useful than pork. It is wonderful in terms of tasty, wholesome food, and is suitable for a children's menu. You can cook an easy dietary option, if you focus on the low-calorie and low-fat fillet, mixing it with minced meat from other parts of the bird.

We prepare the recipe step by step:

  1. We roll 500 g of chicken fillet and 500 g of pulp of the hips (thighs can be taken half as much, and the fillet a little more);
  2. Add the crust of the loaf soaked in milk to the minced meat, salt, season with spices.
  3. Knead the mass thoroughly, trying to make it as dense as possible.
  4. At the bottom of the form we spread the parchment for baking.
  5. Lay out a layer of minced chicken.
  6. Lay eggs on top.
  7. Bake until cooked at a temperature of 200 degrees 40 minutes.
  8. We give the roll a little "catch my breath."
  9. Cut into portioned rings.
