As a side dish, we often serve potatoes, pasta or cereals. But if you are tired of mashed potatoes or dry buckwheat, we advise you to cook rice with vegetables in a pan. It turns out a bright and tasty culinary composition, which will surely appeal to all consumers, without exception.

Rice with fresh vegetables in a pan

Rice with vegetables is a great side dish for any dish. Cooking it is not at all difficult, but you can use many different ingredients, observing, however, the proportions of spices and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • a glass with a hill of rice grains;
  • half zucchini;
  • up to 200 g of carrots;
  • as many onions;
  • and as much sweet pepper;
  • two garlic cloves;
  • oil, spices.

Cooking method:

  1. First of all, prepare the vegetables. They must be fresh and mature. Zucchini and bell peppers are cut into cubes, finely chop the spicy vegetable and onion, three carrots on a grater.
  2. In a frying pan with oil, send the onion and pass it until golden. Then we put an orange root crop, and as soon as it becomes soft, we spread the pepper. Last add zucchini and garlic chips.
  3. In a deep frying pan, heat the oil again, put 4 g of black pepper, 3 g of red, 6 g of a mixture of paprika, turmeric and coriander. Keep the spices on the fire for a minute, fill in the rice grains and fry them so that the groats absorb the taste and aroma of spices.
  4. After, we spread the vegetables to the rice, mix the composition, pour a couple of glasses of salted water and do not interfere anymore. Cover the almost finished dish with a lid and cook on low heat for 25 minutes.

With chicken

You can cook rice just with vegetables, and if you add chicken, you get a full lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • incomplete glass of rice grains;
  • one onion and one carrot;
  • a can of corn;
  • the same amount of green peas;
  • sweet pepper fruit;
  • up to 400 g of poultry meat;
  • a spoon of tomato puree;
  • spices, oil.

Cooking method:

  1. For the recipe, you can take any part of the bird, whether it is a chicken leg or breast. Cut the meat into pieces, season with spices and lightly fry.
  2. As soon as the chicken is lightly browned, add the onion cubes and fry the products until golden. Then put the grated carrot and cubes of pepper, fry for ten minutes.
  3. After mixing the ingredients with tomato paste and two minutes later pour a glass of water.
  4. As soon as the contents of the pan boil, we fill in the rice grains, add the same amount of water and simmer the rice with chicken and vegetables for half an hour.
  5. Five minutes before cooking, add the peas and corn. After cooking, give the finished dish a little time to stand.

With frozen vegetables

Rice with vegetables can be prepared at any time of the year, because both fresh and frozen vegetables are suitable for such a dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 tbsp. rice grains;
  • a pound of frozen vegetables (mix);
  • half a pack of melted butter;
  • five garlic cloves;
  • spices.

Cooking method:

  1. Put a spoonful of melted butter in a skillet and fill in frozen vegetables. Fry them for five minutes.
  2. In another, deeper pan, melt the remaining oil. Pour rice cereal into it, add a little curry and turmeric.
  3. We combine rice with vegetables, salt, pepper, pour water (1: 2 ratio). We simmer the products until the beans are ready and five minutes before the end of the process we put the peeled garlic cloves to them.
  4. When the dishes are ready, the pan can be wrapped and left for 15 minutes. Rice is saturated with the aroma of spices.

How to Fry Rice with Minced Meat and Vegetables

Rice with juicy minced meat and vegetables will surely be appreciated by your loved ones. Vegetables will give the finished dish a pleasant shade and taste.

Ingredients:

  • a glass with a slide of rice grains;
  • up to 300 g of minced meat;
  • one onion and one carrot;
  • two tablespoons of tomato paste;
  • oil, spices.

Cooking method:

  1. We chop the onion into cubes and pass until soft. After, add the grated carrots and simmer the vegetables for 15 minutes.
  2. We take any minced meat, put it in vegetables and cook for ten minutes.
  3. Then add tomato paste, pour half a cup of boiling water and simmer the products for 15 minutes.
  4. Boil rice separately. Once the grains are soft, send them to the pan to the rest of the ingredients. Salt, pepper, warm the composition for ten minutes and remove from heat.

Fish Recipe

Rice groats is one of the most popular in our country. From white grains you can cook a wide variety of dishes, including with the addition of fish.

For the recipe you can take any kind of sea fish, but we will use whitefish.

Ingredients:

  • two whitefish carcasses;
  • incomplete glass of rice grains;
  • two carrots and onion heads;
  • oil, spices.

Cooking method:

  1. Such a dish can be prepared with spices or limited only to salt and pepper. If the choice fell on cooking with spices, then put three peas of black pepper and the same amount of clove buds, a couple of cardamom grains and some coriander seeds in the heated oil. Literally after half a minute, add onion cubes and fry them for three minutes.
  2. After, put the grated carrots and after five minutes on a vegetable pillow we place pieces of fish.
  3. Pour rice, pour water and simmer the dish for 25 minutes.

With turkey

From turkey, rice and vegetables, you can prepare a light and at the same time hearty meal. The most important thing in this recipe is the spices that we borrow from Indian cuisine.

Ingredients:

  • a pound or a bit more turkey (fillet);
  • one carrot and one onion;
  • a full glass of rice grains;
  • three garlic cloves;
  • three stalks of celery;
  • two tsp curry;
  • a pinch of ground ginger;
  • salt, pepper, oil.

Cooking method:

  1. In the container we put the pieces of meat, sprinkle them with curry, salt, pepper and ginger. Mix and leave for 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the carrots into quarters, onions into small cubes, spicy vegetable and celery into larger pieces.
  3. In hot oil, fry the turkey with garlic until the meat is light. After, put the celery, onions and carrots, simmer until the orange root is soft.
  4. We fall asleep grains, salt, pour water and simmer foods until cooked over low heat.

Rice with meat and vegetables in a pan

Rice and meat are always a delicious tandem, worthy of a full dinner.

To make the grains crumbly, it is important to observe the correct proportions of cereals and water. As a rule, one portion of rice requires twice as much liquid.

But do not forget that in addition to cereals, other ingredients are also used in the recipe, therefore, the amount of water is regulated depending on their juiciness.

Ingredients:

  • up to a pound of pork (beef, veal);
  • one and a half glasses of long-grain rice;
  • eggplant;
  • three tomatoes;
  • two bell peppers;
  • carrot and large onion;
  • 0.5 tsp. turmeric, coriander, and black pepper;
  • 1 tsp curry;
  • 0.5 tsp. sweet paprika and chili.

Cooking method:

  1. We cut the meat into pieces, as for goulash. If the product is with fat, then no oil is needed for frying.
  2. In a deep frying pan, overcook the meat pieces for seven minutes. After, pour in half a cup of water and continue cooking. If pork is selected, then simmer it for 15 minutes, if veal is 20, beef will need at least half an hour.
  3. Grind the coriander peas in a mortar with clove buds and pepper. We mix the resulting composition with already ground spices.
  4. We cut onions in quarters. We cut the eggplants without peel into cubes, add them, and after 15 minutes we rinse under water so that the vegetable does not bitter. We also cut carrots and sweet peppers in the same way.
  5. As soon as the meat is roasted and browned, put the onion, and after a couple of minutes we will cover all the spices. After three minutes, add the carrots with bell pepper and eggplant.
  6. At the very end of the process we fall asleep rice and mix the products. Fry the composition for three minutes, then pour in water, add salt and simmer for half an hour.
