Classical buckwheat sauce with meat

Traditionally, buckwheat is combined with meat, and to make the gravy hearty and tasty, you can take pork, beef or veal.

For the dish you will need:

  • 500 g of meat;
  • bulb;
  • garlic cloves;
  • some tomato paste;
  • salt and suitable seasonings;
  • a glass of boiled water.

Work sequence:

  1. Wash the meat, cut into strips or cubes, sprinkle with salt, spices and fry in a skillet until golden brown.
  2. Peel onion and garlic, chop, add to meat and fry until vegetables are soft.
  3. Dilute the tomato paste in boiled water, add to the gravy, cover and simmer until cooked.

When the meat becomes soft, put the finished mass in plates with grits, sprinkle portions with herbs and serve.

Vegetable Garnish Supplement

If there is no meat at all in the refrigerator, you can prepare an economical dinner, supplementing the core with mixed vegetables.

Gravy for buckwheat without meat is made from such products:

  • zucchini or eggplant;
  • onion;
  • carrot;
  • bell pepper;

Cooking process:

  1. Wash the zucchini or eggplant, cut into cubes and send to fry.

Cooking with minced meat

For cooking you will need:

  • 400 g of minced meat from any meat;
  • onion;
  • garlic;
  • juicy tomatoes;
  • a handful of raisins;
  • a bunch of basil;

  1. Put the minced meat in a pan, salt, season with spices and fry a little.

  • a few tablespoons of sour cream;

  1. Grind carrots and garlic, put in a pan and fry until soft.
  2. Add chicken, salt and season the dish with spices, and then continue cooking.
  3. Dilute sour cream with boiled water and pour into a container, and then close it with a lid and stew the dish well.

Ready gravy is spread in plates on top of buckwheat, and then sprinkled with chopped dill.

Lean without meat

Those who observe religious fasts or, for one reason or another, have to abandon the use of meat, will like buckwheat with lean gravy.

For cooking you will need:

  • 2 to 3 large carrots;
  • bulb;
  • garlic;
  • bell pepper;

  • green peas (fresh, frozen or canned);

On a note. Instead of peas, you can use sweet corn, as well as canned or chilli beans.

Mushroom Gravy

Buckwheat, supplemented with mushrooms, can rightfully be considered a classic of the genre. To prepare this sauce, take "forest meat" in a fresh, canned or dried form.

For cooking you will need:

  • 500 g of mushrooms;
  • onion;
  • cream or fat sour cream;
  • salt and suitable spices.

Operating procedure:

  1. Cut the mushrooms and fry them on a gentle fire with chopped onions.
  2. Season the composition with salt and spices, mix thoroughly.
  3. Add cream or mushrooms diluted with boiled water to the mushrooms, close the container with a lid and simmer for a quarter of an hour.

When serving buckwheat with mushroom sauce, it is recommended to sprinkle the dish with finely chopped herbs.

How to make with tomatoes

This dish is called "hunting buckwheat" and for its preparation, in addition to tomatoes, chicken hearts and ventricles are used.

In the process of work you will need:

  • 800 g of giblets;
  • bulb;
  • carrot;
  • garlic;
  • 4 to 5 large tomatoes;
  • boiled water;
  • Bay leaf;
  • salt and seasoning.

Cooking process:

  1. Rinse the giblets thoroughly and, if necessary, chop them with a knife. Then put in a pan and fry.
  2. Add chopped onion, grated carrots and chopped garlic to the dish, and then continue cooking until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Pour boiled water over the dish, add bay leaf and simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated.
  4. Remove the leaves of parsley from the gravy, add chopped tomatoes and darken under the lid for a while.

Fans of spicy dishes can add hot pepper to the gravy with giblets or flavor it with mustard.

Buckwheat creamy gravy

For this dish we need a liver. It is better to use chicken - it is more tender and it will take less time to cook it.

Gravy is prepared from the following ingredients:

  • 400 - 500 g chicken liver;
  • onion;
  • cream cheese (it is better to take "Amber");
  • boiled water or broth;
  • greenery;
  • salt and seasoning.

Work process:

  1. Rinse the liver thoroughly, chop, salt, season with spices and fry a little with onions over medium heat.
  2. While the offal is being prepared, pour water into another dish, add cream cheese and keep on fire, stirring constantly, until the mass becomes homogeneous.
  3. Pour the cream cheese sauce into the pan with the liver, close the container with a lid and leave it on fire for a quarter of an hour.
  4. A few minutes before cooking, add chopped greens to the dish.

Instead of cream cheese, you can use fat cream, it all depends on personal preferences and the products available in the refrigerator.
