Classic pilaf with chicken in a pan

The basis of the classic recipe for pilaf with chicken in a pan is rice, meat and vegetables. And also for a refined aroma and taste, spices are necessarily added. What you need to cook:

  • chicken - one carcass;
  • rice - 500 g;
  • water - 1 l;
  • bulbs - 2 pcs.;

  • oil - 100 ml;
  • spices to taste.

Preparation Scheme:

  1. To begin with, you should prepare a whole chicken (preferably homemade) and steamed rice.
  2. Next, you need to soak the cereal: rinse the rice well, and then leave it in cool water for half an hour.
  3. Chicken should be chopped into equal parts: only legs, femur and wings can be separated.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, place the meat in it and fry on each side until a crust appears.
  5. Add chopped onions, carrots to the meat and brown everything. To season.
  6. Thoroughly mix the foods and then pour in hot water and leave the pan for another ten minutes.
  7. Introduce the cereal into a liquid base and smooth. After boiling, reduce the heat, cover the dish with a lid and cook for another 15 minutes.

Once all the liquid has evaporated, the finished pilaf can be turned off.

With mushrooms

The meat in the classic pilaf can be replaced with mushrooms or use this ingredient as a pleasant addition.

What do you need:

  • mushrooms - 350 g;
  • rice - 200 g;
  • chicken - 300 g;
  • bulbs and carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • oil - 80 ml;
  • spices to taste.

Cooking:

  1. First, you should chop the chicken meat and fry it well in a preheated frying pan with oil.
  2. Then you need to prepare the mushrooms: peel and cut into slices. Fry with meat.
  3. Prepare vegetables and add to the pan. Introduce spices and simmer all five minutes.
  4. Pour rice, simmer for a couple of minutes and pour hot water so that it completely covers it. Reduce gas and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

Before serving, it is recommended to add fresh herbs.

Cooking with fillet, step by step

When using chicken, this dish is even easier to prepare.

What is required:

  • chicken fillet - 400 g;
  • rice - 1.5 cups;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 3 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • spices as desired.

It is undesirable to use round-grain rice, such as Krasnodar, for cooking pilaf. It contains a lot of starch, due to which theoretically crumbly pilaf becomes in reality porridge.

Step by step recipe:

  1. First you should prepare the vegetables: chop the onion and grate the carrots.
  2. Next, prepare the fillet: the meat needs to be cut into medium pieces.
  3. Fry the onions for a couple of minutes in a preheated pan with butter, add meat, carrots and stew all together for five minutes.
  4. At this stage, you can enter spices and seasonings (barberry, cumin, turmeric or universal seasoning for pilaf).
  5. Add warm liquid to cover the meat and boil the mixture for 20 minutes.
  6. Pour washed rice and do not mix. Add more water and continue to simmer.
  7. After 15 minutes, add a few cloves of garlic and cover the almost finished dish with a lid.

Pilaf is cooked until all the liquid is absorbed.

Crumby chicken thigh pilaf

You can cook pilaf with chicken with the addition of any part of it. To make it friable, it is recommended to give preference to elongated varieties of white rice.

What to take:

  • hips - 0.5 kg;
  • groats - one and a half glasses;
  • onion and carrot - 2 pcs.;
  • oil - 70 ml;
  • spices to taste.

Cooking Scheme:

  1. Rinse the meat, dry and cut into medium cubes.
  2. Prepare the vegetables.
  3. In a deep frying pan or stewpan, heat the vegetable oil and fry the meat on it. Introduce carrots and onions.
  4. Rinse the cereals through a sieve and dry - this will prevent sticking.
  5. Pour rice into a pan and distribute. Add liquid and spices.
  6. Cover with a lid and leave to simmer for half an hour.

If desired, you can add a few garlic cloves.

Dietary dish in the pan

Pilaf in the addition of vegetables is the most useful and correct option for a diet.

What do you need:

  • rice - one glass;
  • chicken fillet - 1 pc.;
  • carrots and onions - 1 pc.;
  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
  • young zucchini and eggplant - 1 pc.;
  • olive oil - 1 tsp;
  • herbs and spices - as needed.

Cooking:

  1. Boil the fillet and let it cool in a pan (for example, usually dry meat will become more juicy).
  2. Prepare vegetables: peel and make small cubes out of them.
  3. Place prepared ingredients on a baking sheet and bake without oil for several minutes. Add your favorite spices.
  4. Put the washed rice in a pan and pour water. Strain until liquid is completely boiled away.
