  2. Shredded vegetables are fried in a bowl of a smart pan. For this, you can choose both vegetable and butter. From the modes suitable, for example, “Baking”.

  2. While the chicken is cooking, you can do vegetables. Onions are cut into thin rings or half rings. Carrots are cut with thin sticks. You can just rub it on a coarse grater.
  3. As soon as the meat is ready, chopped vegetables are sprinkled to it. You need to wait until the onions and carrots are lightly browned.
  4. It remains to pour washed barley, salt, special seasonings for pilaf over all prepared foods.
  5. The contents of the bowl is poured with hot boiled water.
  6. "Smart pan" is switched to the "Pilaf" mode and turns on for 60-65 minutes.

Barley with pumpkin

Ingredients: 420 g of fresh pumpkin pulp, 1 multi-bowl of pearl barley, carrots, a couple of bay leaves, onion, salt and ground zira to taste.

  1. In the evening, the indicated amount of barley is poured with water at room temperature and left overnight.
  2. In the morning in a bowl on any oil, first fry the onion cubes and small pieces of pumpkin. When these vegetables are softened, carrot sticks are added to them. Together, the ingredients cook for another 8-9 minutes.
  3. A couple of minutes before the end of frying, pearl barley is placed in the container. From it, you must first drain all the water and rinse the product.
  4. Warm water is poured on top of the components. The liquid should be so much that its level is higher than all used products by about 2-2.5 cm. They are laid out in the container and bay leaves.
  5. In the program for cooking pilaf, the treat will languish until its completion. About 5-6 minutes before readiness, the dish needs to be salted and sprinkled with zira.

The finished treat is left for a short time on heating, and then laid out on plates.

With vegetables

Ingredients: 1 multi-bowl of pearl barley, large eggplant, tomato, bell pepper, 3-4 garlic cloves, table salt to taste.

Ingredients: half a poultry of chicken, carrot, 2 multi-cups of pearl barley, 5 multi-cups of filtered water, onion, garlic to taste, salt, seasoning for pilaf.

  1. Onions, carrots and garlic are chopped in any way and passivated in butter or vegetable oil. When the vegetables are ready, pieces of chicken are laid out for them.
