Calendula decoction masks

The advantage of masks is that. that in addition to the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, they can introduce ingredients that will soften and moisturize the skin, prevent its overdrying.

Due to the alcohol composition, the tincture in the composition of the masks may have a pronounced drying effect, so it is better to use a decoction instead. It is not difficult to prepare it, the following ingredients will be required:

  • 2 tablespoons of dried marigold flowers;
  • litere of water.

 

Pour the flowers of calendula into a small saucepan, add water and put on low heat. Allow to boil and simmer in a water bath for no more than 20 minutes. Allow to cool the resulting broth, strain. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 48 hours.

Below are the recipes for the most effective masks with calendula decoction:

  1. Honey. Take a decoction of calendula and honey (preferably lime) in a ratio of 3: 1, mix thoroughly. the resulting mixture is applied to the face using fingers or a cotton pad. For a better effect, you can use a dry cloth mask. It is moistened in the resulting solution and applied to the face. The exposure time of the mask is 15 minutes, after which it is washed off with water at room temperature.
  2. With Aloe Vera. To prepare such a composition, take thick fleshy leaves of the plant, peel, pierce in a blender until gruel is formed. If such a plant is not at home, aloe vera gel can be used. A tablespoon of calendula decoction is mixed with 3 tablespoons of aloe, applied to the face and washed off after 15 minutes.
  3. Clay. 4 tablespoons of blue cosmetic clay are diluted with calendula decoction to the state of pancake dough. The mixture is applied with fingers or a cosmetic brush to wet skin, hold for 15 minutes, rinse with cool water.

Acne Lotion

The advantages of this lotion are obvious - it is easy to prepare at home, it contains natural ingredients and has a pronounced effect. To prepare it you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon of alcohol tincture of calendula;

  • 100 ml of cool boiled water.
