Analogs of dry cough syrup

Today, pharmacies have a lot of funds with an action similar to that of medicine.

Consider the most effective:

  • Pertussin. Effectively treats a wet cough caused by various infectious and viral diseases of the respiratory tract. An overdose of “Pertussin” is accompanied by increased excitability, abdominal pain, severe runny nose.
  • Pectusin. Most often, these drugs are bought in the form of lozenges. This herbal medicine helps get rid of cough caused by tonsillitis, laryngitis and tracheitis. Resorption tablets are prescribed for children over the age of six.
  • "Mukaltin." This medicine is valued by consumers for its effectiveness and affordability. The active ingredient - marshmallow, is well known for its ability to thin out sputum. "Mukaltin" activates the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, stimulates expectoration, relieves pain and irritation. Tablets can be dissolved on their own or diluted with a small amount of water. "Mukaltin" is well tolerated by the children's body. It is forbidden to combine the medicine with medicines that stop coughing. For example, with Codeine or Glaucin.
  • The Bronchicum. Antispasmodic and expectorant drugs with anti-inflammatory effect. It activates the functionality of the bronchi, dilutes sputum and dissolves it. Helps to eliminate severe coughing attacks in children.
  • Eucabal. Mucolytic and expectorant drug. Relieves bronchial spasm and inflammation. Once in the body, the active substances of the syrup penetrate the bronchi, dissolve the accumulation of sputum and activate the ciliated epithelium. As a result, expectoration improves.
  • "Ambroxol". Once in the body, the medication stimulates the respiratory tract and expectoration. Under its influence, sputum of low viscosity is formed. It prevents the breakdown of substances that transport the cough fluids to the lungs.
  • "Bronchosan." The drug dilutes bronchial secretions, improves the release of sputum, improves the condition of the respiratory system. Very rarely provokes side effects.

According to patients, dry medicine really copes with coughing in children and practically does not cause side effects.

Despite safety, the medicine is not recommended to be used without the consent of the doctor.
