Inflammatory diseases of the joints and musculoskeletal system are often accompanied by severe pain. Permanent pain significantly affects the quality of life and performance. In such cases, you will need to take analgesics, one of which is the drug Meloxicam-Prana.

Why take meloxicam prana

This medicinal product belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs. The main mechanism of action of this class of drugs is to inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase-2, which is involved in the inflammatory process. Meloxicam-Prana is used to obtain several therapeutic effects at once: elimination of heat, analgesic effect, as well as relief of signs of the inflammatory process.

The pharmacological result is achieved by eliminating many of the symptoms that are characteristic of active inflammation. In particular, fever and pain are effectively stopped, as a result of which there is a significant improvement in the patient's condition. But also this drug eliminates severe swelling of inflamed tissues, swelling and impaired functioning.

Pranafarm Meloxicam-Prana is recommended for symptomatic treatment in the following cases:

  1. Arthrosis (degenerative-dystrophic disease of the joints of a chronic course).
  2. Arthritis (an inflammatory disorder affecting the joints).
  3. Becheterev’s disease (a pathological inflammatory disease affecting the spine and joints).
  4. Patients with ankylosing spondylitis (progressive damage to the joints of the spine, which is accompanied by an inflammatory process).
  5. Osteoarthritis (cartilage pathologies that cause degenerative joint diseases).

Meloxicam-Prana tablets are often used for toothaches. The tablet form of the drug for therapy, as well as the elimination of individual symptoms, is prescribed in a minimum dosage. Due to the analgesic effect, Meloxicam-Prana can be used for severe headaches.

The duration of use is determined by the attending physician.

Rules for using the medicine:

  • patients with rheumatoid arthritis are recommended to take 15 mg once a day, if necessary, the dosage can be reduced to 7.5 mg per day;

During pregnancy and lactation

Meloxicam-Prana is not prescribed during pregnancy, since there is no clinical evidence of the negative effects of some components on the fetus. For therapeutic treatment during lactation, breastfeeding should be abandoned, since the main active compound is able to be excreted together with breast milk. Otherwise, the risk of developing severe complications in the child, which manifests itself in the form of adverse reactions, is significantly increased.

Alcohol compatibility

Meloxicam, like other NSAIDs, should not be combined with drinks that contain ethanol, since the effectiveness of the drug is significantly reduced, an increased load on the liver is noted, and the possibility of developing negative reactions is not ruled out.
