Thanks to its unsurpassed nutritional value, an exotic fruit, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records, is used to produce oil, which can be called truly unique. Avocado oil has such a set of fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and proteins that no other similar plant product can compete with. Green gold is called this magical elixir of youth, which not only nourishes and heals, but also supports healthy beauty.

Composition and availability of nutrients

This green pear is not in vain called a storehouse of substances valuable to the body. Their content reaches a maximum in oil obtained by cold pressing. On the beneficial properties and application of plant composition - below in our article.

Unrefined avocado oil contains:

  1. Vitamins: A, E, D, B1, B2, PP, K and other components. In terms of vitamin E content, it is several times superior to olive, and F is known fish oil. The lack of these vitamins inevitably leads to a number of diseases, early aging, and a decrease in the production of hormones and collagen, which is responsible for the regeneration and elasticity of all tissues.
  2. Chemical elements: phosphorus, manganese, selenium, copper, iodine, iron, calcium, zinc and others. Their deficiency contributes to the development of diseases, early aging of the skin, hair, nails.
  3. Valuable fatty acids: oleic, palmitic, palmitoleic, lactic, stearic and others. Oleic acid (or Omega-9) occupies 60% of the total composition of the product. It is necessary for the synthesis of internal collagen, maintaining the shape, as well as youth and health of the heart, blood vessels, nails, skin and, of course.
  4. Chlorophyll.Its presence explains the greenish color of the fetus itself and the oil produced on its basis, which positively affects almost all human organs and systems, prolonging youth and maintaining immunity.
  5. Phytoestrogens, or plant hormone-like substances. Own estrogens are replaced, the production of which decreases after 35 years, as a result they have a rejuvenating effect on the appearance.
  6. Squalene is a hydrocarbon with unique properties that stimulate the immune system, maintain hormonal balance, eliminate aging factors and fight cancer cells.

Why hair oil is useful

Due to a special property - structural “similarity” to human subcutaneous fatty tissue - an oily substance is easier to penetrate deeper into the dermis and hair follicles, nourishing the hair. This feature of the oil greatly facilitates its use for the face.

Outside, due to the effect of lipids, the hair structure is sealed, the scales and surface roughness are smoothed out. For damaged hair, the use of the product is undeniable: the fat composition perfectly eliminates dryness and restores life to hair that has undergone repeated dyeing, traumatic drying and styling, various types of permanent curls.

The squalene mentioned above literally heals the scalp, eliminating peeling, dandruff that occurs, and also saturates the surface layers with oxygen. Chlorophyll increases the protective properties of the skin and stimulates metabolic processes. A rich vitamin complex fights hair loss, improves their nutrition and growth, and protects well from the harmful effects of the environment.

Poorly growing, split, brittle hair also requires special care products. Avocado oil for hair will help nourish the bulbs, as well as solder and thicken the tips, without weighing the entire volume of the hairstyle. And the pleasant natural smell of oil will turn the treatment into a pleasant aroma procedure.

Oil Enriched Shampoo

Shampoos often dry the hair and scalp, resulting in peeling and dandruff. Owners of dry and even normal hair often encounter this problem, which can be solved by the strength of avocado oil in the shampoo.

There are manufacturers of detergents that add this ingredient to their products. But you can do it yourself each time you wash your hair: stir a dessert spoon of unrefined oil in a serving of neutral baby shampoo. Useful components of a plant ingredient will give your hair elasticity, a healthy shine without undue severity.

Hair masks

The moisturizing properties of the oil allow it to be used as part of masks. The effect on the bulbs, skin and hair is very long, intensifying due to elevated temperature. At the same time, useful substances have the opportunity to better penetrate into the structure of the hair.

Masks are sold ready-made, they can also be made at home on their own. The presented type of oil is quite dense, so all masks based on it should be washed off.

Masks are different:

  1. Monocomponent, or consisting only of avocado oil.
  2. Multicomponent. They are easy to prepare on their own. Avocado oil will be the basis for both essential and cosmetic oils. It works well on hair in combination with the yolk of a fresh chicken egg, bee honey, lemon juice.
  3. Finished components of industrial production.

Avocado oil in cosmetology

With moisturizing and regenerating properties, it is widely used for the face, hands and the whole body. The oil from the green Mexican “pear” is almost completely absorbed into dry skin, so it can be included in the formulations without any additives. Of course, in cosmetic oil from avocados there are fewer nutrients and vitamins, compared to unrefined.

But still, there are many benefits from the funds based on it:

  • regenerates tissues, heals small cracks, scratches;
  • deeply moisturizes, eliminating peeling;
  • fights small wrinkles;
  • nourishes, delivering beneficial substances deep into the skin;
  • stimulates blood circulation and oxygen metabolism;
  • eliminates sagging.

In addition to the above, it is used in the manufacture of suntan oil. Due to the fact that this component is perfectly absorbed, and does not remain a film on the surface, it protects the skin from drying out and aging, nourishes the upper layers of the dermis, provides an even, beautiful tan.

Ways to use at home

Avocado oil is used solo and as a basis in the manufacture of homemade masks for hair, skin, for cosmetic procedures. It goes well with odorous oils, which are usually used in a few drops. In addition, ready-made cream can be supplemented with oil to give it more moisturizing properties and enrich with vitamins.

We offer several recipes:

  1. For face. Add 15-25 drops of cosmetic oil to a serving of cream, mix and apply on face and neck. After 20 minutes, remove the remaining napkin. Do not flush.
  2. For hair. Rub the oil, warmed to body temperature, into the roots, then distribute through the hair, wrap your head in a warm thing for a couple of hours. Then rinse with a mild shampoo, if necessary, repeat the procedure. To prevent hair loss, this mask can be left until the morning.
  3. From early wrinkles. Combine in a container evenly a little oil from avocado, grape seeds, add a couple of drops of geranium oil. Lightly warm the mixture and apply around the eyes for 20-30 minutes. Gently remove excess composition with warm water without soap.
  4. For body. Mix a handful of sea salt with 50 ml of unrefined oil and the same amount of honey. Use as a scrub for the skin of the body (for the face such a composition will be too coarse). Wash off with soap and water.
  5. For the neck. Moisten a warm linen cloth with warm oil and, wrapping your neck, lie down for 30 minutes. Remove excess oil with a dry cloth without rinsing it.
  6. For hands and nails. Combine in a separate bowl a small portion of the cream (choose a special composition for hands), juice of half a lemon and avocado oil. Apply the emulsion to the skin, rubbing lightly into the nails, massage and put on cotton gloves. The composition is absorbed without residue.
  7. For legs. Mix 20 ml of two types of oil - avocado and palm. Add a couple drops of peppermint essential oil or orange juice for the smell. To clean the feet with a scrub or pumice, dry and rub the composition into the feet. Wear cotton socks for the night. The mask does not require rinsing.
  8. For roughened skin. Rub warm oil into cleaned heels, elbows and knees, leave until completely absorbed.

Contraindications

Avocado oil is truly universal, rarely causing allergic reactions. Therefore, the list of contraindications for its use contains only individual intolerance.

This type of care is not very suitable for oily hair and skin, as they do not need additional hydration. And it is not suitable for massage because of the reduced viscosity. To use the product, you will have to dilute in equal proportions with any other massage oil.
