Cabbage rolls lazy with cabbage and minced meat - a dish that is always in demand among both adults and children. And besides, it is elementary, not requiring large expenses in cooking. These recipes will help any housewife when you need to quickly and tasty feed your household, or when guests are on the doorstep.

Classic cabbage rolls with cabbage and minced meat

Despite the name, making lazy cabbage rolls is definitely not for the lazy. They stand out among their "brothers" solely in that the filling is not placed inside the cabbage leaves and this somewhat facilitates the process of their preparation.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat of any kind - 400 g;
  • head of cabbage (white cabbage) - 300 g;
  • average carrot - 1 pc.;
  • semisweet bulb onion - 1 head;
  • rice (any grade) - 130 g;
  • chicken egg (category c0) - 1 pc.;
  • salt - a small pinch;
  • coarse black pepper - a small pinch;
  • spices (dried dill, parsley, basil) - all for a little
  • pinch.

How to cook:

  1. In a separate pan, cook the rice until it is half-cooked.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the cabbage in any convenient way.
  3. We connect chopped cabbage, minced meat, boiled and washed rice and egg. We mix everything well.
  4. We chop the onion into thin squares, chop the carrots on a grater with medium holes. We add vegetables to other components. Season the resulting mixture with spices, salt and pepper.
  5. We put a deep stewpan on a fire of low intensity. From the cooked meat, we make balls and transfer to a pan. Cook for about 50 minutes.

The dish should be served hot with or without a side dish.

Stew in a sauce with sour cream

In order to decorate the taste of your favorite dish, stuffed cabbage with meat is cooked in sour cream and tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat of any kind - 300 g;
  • white cabbage - a quarter of the cabbage;
  • chicken egg (category c0) - 1 pc.;
  • white long-grain rice - 50 g;
  • sour cream 15% fat - 100 g;
  • tomato puree (can be replaced with tomato sweet ketchup) - 50 g;
  • refined oil - for frying;
  • baking flour - for preliminary roasting cabbage rolls (if desired);
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper - on a small pinch.

How to cook:

  1. Pre-cooked rice and a thinly chopped quarter of a head are attached to the minced meat and the whole composition is thoroughly mixed.
  2. Drive one egg into the mixture, season with salt and pepper. We make balls from minced meat.
  3. Fry the cabbage rolls in a heated pan, roll them in a flour mixture, until a dense crust forms on them.
  4. We mix sour cream and tomato component with each other and add 100 ml of boiled water.
  5. When the frying process comes to an end, in the pan to the stuffed cabbage should add the sauce made and simmer all the ingredients until they reach the level of their readiness.

Serving lazy cabbage rolls with cabbage, rice and minced meat can be served as an individual dish, or with your preferred side dish.

With carrots, onions and twisted cabbage

This recipe for lazy cabbage rolls is distinguished by the fact that they include twisted cabbage leaves and vegetables, which exquisitely complement the familiar taste of your favorite dish.

 

Ingredients:

  • minced meat of any kind (optional) - 450 g;
  • head of cabbage (white cabbage) - 350 g;
  • onion head - 1 pc.;
  • average carrot - 1 pc.;
  • white rice of any grade - 120 g;
  • chicken egg (category c0) - 1 pc.;
  • fresh ripe tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • baking flour - for crumbling cabbage rolls before frying;
  • salt - a small pinch;
  • finely ground black pepper - a small pinch.

How to cook:

  1. Pre-boil rice to a state of moderate readiness.
  2. Grind the onion into small squares, grate the carrots with a medium hole. We siphon vegetables in flavourless refined oil.
  3. We cut the cabbage into small strips and grind it with a blender to the state of large crumbs.
  4. We mix together all the components of lazy cabbage rolls: boiled rice, minced meat, sautéed vegetables, twisted cabbage and an egg.
  5. Season all the ingredients with salt and pepper and knead everything well. We sculpt cabbage rolls of the necessary size.
  6. Evenly sprinkled billets of cabbage rolls with flour around the entire perimeter, browning them until golden brown. Then we add the tomatoes chopped in cubes and simmer everything under the lid until ready.

It is recommended to put such a dish on the dining table with sour cream and finely chopped herbs.

Oven baking recipe

To diversify the recipe, you can dilute the usual composition of the food with new products and cook it in the oven. We offer a step by step recipe.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat at home (pork + beef) - 600 g;
  • sheets of white cabbage - 300 g;
  • white long-grain rice - 150 g;
  • chicken egg (category c0) - 2 pcs.;
  • average carrot - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • sweet grade tomatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • tomato puree - 3 tbsp. l
  • baking flour - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • garlic cloves - 3 pcs.;
  • refined oil - for frying;
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper - a small pinch of each.

How to cook:

  1. Grind the cabbage into as thin slices as possible and put it in a separate deep bowl. Pour boiling water and leave for 20 minutes.
  2. We bring rice to a state of readiness by half.
  3. We chop the onion into small squares, chop the carrots on a grater with large holes, pass the garlic cloves through the garlic clove, cut the tomatoes into medium-sized squares.
  4. We pass the vegetable component, with the exception of tomatoes.Pour a few tablespoons of fried vegetables into an individual plate, and add flour, tomato paste and chopped tomatoes to the composition remaining in the pan.
  5. We continue to cook everything together over low heat for a little over 3 minutes and season with salt and pepper. After boiling, add 500 g of distilled water to vegetable frying and cook for about 5 minutes. Before the end of the stew add chopped garlic cloves.
  6. We mix the main components of cabbage rolls: steamed cabbage, rice and minced meat, add eggs to them.
  7. At the bottom of the heat-resistant baking dish, we first lay out the vegetables, separately set aside, and on top of them - molded cabbage rolls. We put everything in the oven and bake for 25 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
  8. After a designated period of time, take out the form and pour the cabbage rolls with gravy. Continue to bake for 25 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees.

Minced chicken, step by step

An alternative to regular cabbage rolls is to cook this dish using minced chicken.

Ingredients:

  • minced chicken meat - 400 g;
  • white round rice - 150 g;
  • white cabbage - a quarter of the cabbage;
  • chicken egg (category c0) - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • small carrot - 1 pc.;
  • tomato puree - 150 g;
  • baking flour - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • Refined oil - for frying;
  • salt, spices - according to taste preferences.

How to cook:

  1. Boil rice to a state of moderate readiness.
  2. Grind cabbage as finely as possible.
  3. We mix the minced chicken, rice, egg and cabbage. If necessary (if the meat is too loose) add the flour component.
  4. We make cabbage rolls and fry in a pan.
  5. In another container for frying, mix the chopped vegetables and tomato mass to get the gravy.
  6. After this mixture is ready, transfer it to a stewpan to stuffed cabbage and simmer it all together for about 20 minutes.

A wonderful dish with minced chicken is ready.

Cooking from Beijing cabbage

The recipe for this dish will become very unusual and interesting if you do not cook cabbage rolls with ordinary white cabbage, but use Peking instead.

 

Ingredients:

  • minced beef meat - 250 g;
  • minced poultry meat - 250 g;
  • head of Beijing cabbage - a quarter of the whole;
  • rice of any grade - 150 g;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • large carrot - 1 pc.;
  • tomato puree - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • baking flour - for breading;
  • salt, spices - according to taste preferences.

How to cook:

  1. Cook rice to medium readiness.
  2. Finely chop the leaves of Beijing cabbage (their soft part).
  3. We make vegetable frying from chopped onion heads and grated carrots. Before cooking, add tomato paste to the mixture.
  4. We combine 2 types of minced meat, chopped cabbage leaves, boiled rice, salt to taste and mix thoroughly.
  5. We make cabbage rolls from these components and bread them in a flour mixture.
  6. We cook in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for about 15 minutes, then we get out the form with cabbage rolls, fill everything with cooked gravy and send it back to cook for 25 minutes at 160 degrees.
