And due to the fact that the noodle contains rice starch, you can meet it under the name rice noodle. On the shelves you can find packaging with round or flat noodles. It can also be short, like regular spaghetti, or long and twisted into “nests” that are packed in portions.

The composition and calorie content of the product

Harusame noodles are most often made from rice starch, less often potato, mash. The composition contains many B vitamins - B1, B2, B3, B5. It also contains calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and many other micro and macrocells.

For those who are on a diet and monitor their weight, it is often not recommended to use this noodle, since its calorie content is 352 kcal per 100 g.

How to Cook Harusame Noodles

Harusame noodles cook very quickly - it does not need to be cooked for a long time, otherwise it will lose its taste and will not look appetizing.

There are several ways to cook it:

  • Pour into a bowl and completely fill the noodles with boiling water. Leave it on for 5-30 minutes, having previously covered with a lid.
  • Boil salted water and fill in noodles. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then place it on a sieve so that all the liquid is glass.
  • To prepare the soup or subsequent frying with vegetables, the noodles are first soaked for 5 minutes.Next, after draining the water first, put it at the very end of the preparation in the soup, or quickly fry it in a hot frying pan.

Shrimp Glass Noodles

A very simple and quick recipe, it takes only fifteen minutes to prepare this dish.

Products:

  • glass noodles - 180 g;
  • shrimp - 250 g;
  • green peas in pods - 150 g;
  • hot pepper - 1 pc.;
  • soy or fish sauce - to taste;
  • Tabasco sauce - a couple of drops;
  • salt to taste;
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  1. Rinse the shrimps well, pour them into boiling water and boil for a couple of minutes. Then lay back on a sieve, cool and clean. Heat olive oil in a pan and pour peeled shrimp into it. Add tabasco sauce and soy or fish sauce. Fry.
  2. To prepare a dish according to this recipe, you need green peas in pods - fresh or frozen. It is also boiled in moderately salted water for several minutes (the main thing is not to digest - it needs to be crispy).
  3. Cut hot pepper and remove seeds, grind.
  4. Pour rice noodles into boiling (salted) water, and bring to readiness in accordance with the instructions on the packaging. Fold in a colander so that the water is well in the glass and slightly fry along with the rest of the ingredients. Add a little if necessary.
  5. Put on plates and serve immediately.

Tip. To make the noodles perfect in consistency, the main thing is not to digest it! To do this, you need to cook it less (1-2 minutes) than indicated on the package. During subsequent stewing with vegetables or meat, it will reach full readiness.

Korean-style Harusame noodles with vegetables

Chapche - a popular dish from Korea, without which no meal can pass. It is prepared from Harusame noodles with vegetables, meat and mushrooms.

Products:

  • Harusame noodles - 200 g;
  • champignons - 100 g;
  • oyster mushrooms - 100 g;
  • sweet bell peppers of different colors - green, yellow, red - half each;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • garlic - 1 head;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • ginger root;
  • a bunch of spinach;
  • a bunch of parsley;
  • soy sauce - 100 g;
  • sugar - 80 g;
  • salt - 1 tsp;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking method

  1. First you need to cook a pancake. Foam the testicle slightly
    with a fork, add salt and pour into a pan greased with vegetable oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
  2. Boil the noodles in salt water as indicated on the packet. Strain off the water and rinse.
  3. Peel and wash the carrots, cut into cubes, fry in vegetable oil at the same time as ginger root and garlic, chopped thinly.
  4. Now the turn of mushrooms - champignons and oyster mushrooms is well washed, peeled, if necessary, and cut. Pour to other ingredients.
  5. Peel the sweet pepper, remove the grains and cut along the long strips. Send to the pan. Fry for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Next add spinach.
  6. Lastly, pour boiled noodles and season with soy sauce, add sugar and salt, fry for a minute and remove from the stove.
  7. Egg pancake must be rolled up and cut into thin strips.
  8. Put the finished noodles on a plate, on top of the pancake ring, add vegetables, meat and mushrooms, sprinkle with parsley.

Chapche can be served both warm and cold - the taste will not get worse.

Tip. So that during cooking the noodles never stick together, it is recommended to cook it in a large volume of water. It is not worth throwing into still boiling water. You can add a tablespoon of olive oil during cooking, then it will be crumbly.

Noodles cooked with pork

Tasty and quick dish of oriental cuisine - prepared in literally half an hour.

Products:

  • rice noodles - 200 g;
  • pork - 350 g;
  • cauliflower - 100 g;
  • broccoli cabbage - 100 g;
  • green beans - 100 g;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • salt to taste;
  • soy sauce - 50 ml;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • chili pepper - 0.5 pcs.

Cooking method

  1. Rice noodles must be poured with hot water and covered with a lid. Set aside while preparing other components.
  2. Pork cut into small strips. Fry until golden brown in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.
  3. Send peeled and chopped vegetables to the meat, season with soy sauce. Cover and fry for two minutes.
  4. Salt according to taste, sprinkle with chopped garlic and half a chilli pepper. Strain the noodles, add to the pan and stir. Leave to stew, closing the lid for another two minutes, then turn off the heat and leave for 15 minutes.
  5. Pour on plates and serve.
