Quite often, chicken stewed with vegetables appears on the tables of our compatriots. To prepare such a dish is quite simple, it turns out to be very tasty and, in between, useful. But even the most favorite dish, served from time to time without changes, can quickly get bored. Therefore, every housewife should know several recipes for the preparation of such a simple, but respected food.

Chicken stewed with vegetables in a pan

If you want to eat right and healthy, then sooner or later you will have to learn how to cook chicken with vegetables. The food is healthy and very tasty. Do not put off until tomorrow! Write down how to cook a delicious dinner in a pan in just an hour and a half.

Prepare in advance:

• 800 g of chicken;
• a couple of onions and carrots;
• several cloves of garlic;
• water, vegetable oil, selected spices.

We will cook like this:

1. Put the ingredients in the pan: first, chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper, on top - whole slices of garlic, onion rings and carrot slices. If you wish, you can add other vegetables, for example, zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper.
2. Pour everything with oil, add a little more salt, pour a glass of water, put a bay leaf and simmer the dish under a closed lid for about an hour.
3.If the broth to taste turned out to be under-salted, then add it before the end of cooking and bring the dish to readiness for another 15 minutes.

Cooking in a slow cooker

Chicken meat has a delicate taste, and in combination with vegetables it turns out also juicy.

A stewed chicken with vegetables in a slow cooker cooks quickly and easily. Record this recipe too!

Ingredients per pound of chicken:

• carrot and two onion heads;
• Bell pepper;
• two tomatoes;
• two cloves of garlic.

Cooking method:

1. Chicken meat is overcooked in the "Frying" mode for about ten minutes, adding olive oil to the bowl.
2. Sprinkle the meat with chopped onions, grated carrots, put the pepper and carrot sticks.
3. Pour thin garlic slices and seasonings to taste. You do not need to mix the ingredients, just pour two glasses of warm water, close the lid of the unit and turn on the “Extinguishing” program for 40 minutes.

With mushrooms

Among all the recipes for chicken dishes, those made from poultry breast with vegetables and mushrooms are especially popular. These ingredients have the fewest calories, which means they are ideal for preparing a light dinner. You can spice up the dish with lemon juice and soya seasoning.

Ingredients:

• 350 g fillet;
• Bell pepper;
• two carrots and onions;
• two garlic cloves;
• six large champignons;
• 35 ml of soy sauce;
• a spoonful of lemon juice.

Cooking Algorithm:

1. In a saucepan in hot oil, fry the fillet pieces until golden, then cover them with a lid, reduce the flame and simmer for another half hour.
2. In a pan we pass the chopped onions and carrots, then transfer them to the stew-pan for meat.
3. For five minutes, fry the mushroom slices and send after the other ingredients.
4. It remains to fry only sweet peppers with minced garlic.
5. Pour citrus juice, soy seasoning into the chicken with vegetables and mushrooms and let it stew for another two minutes.

Braised Chicken with Vegetables and Rice

If the chicken is stewed with a vegetable composition and rice, then meat and a delicious side dish in one dish will be ready right away.

The main thing is to add bell pepper to the recipe - it will give the meat a sweetish taste.

For 800 grams of chicken, you will also need:

• ½ tbsp. rice grains;
• one head of a white and blue onion;
• three colored pods of bell pepper.

We will cook like this:

1. Flavored chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper. If desired, it can be sprinkled with lemon juice and sprinkled with herbs.
2. Pour oil into the stewpan and fry the meat. As soon as the chicken is lightly browned, we transfer it to a baking sheet with high sides.
3. In the same oil we pass the half rings of white onion and spread it on top of the meat layer
4. Then we form a layer of washed rice grains, on it we lay out cubes of carrots, pepper and sweet onion rings.
5. Salt, pepper products, pour water two centimeters above the level of all ingredients and put the dish in the oven for 40 minutes (temperature 180 ° C).

With potato

Instead of rice, you can add everyone’s favorite potatoes. It turns out no less tasty and certainly more satisfying.

For 800 grams of chicken, also take:

• three potatoes;
• carrots and onions;
• two small zucchini;
• Bell pepper;
• two garlic cloves.

The algorithm of actions is similar to those already described:

1. Cut chicken into pieces, which are immediately breaded in spices.

In addition to salt and pepper, you can add paprika for taste and color, as well as Provencal herbs for aroma.

2. For seven minutes, fry the spicy pieces of meat and put them in a pan.
3. Now we pass the onions with carrots and, together with other chopped vegetables, send them to the meat.
4. Pour in water so that it covers the ingredients a little, and simmer the dish for 25 minutes. A few minutes before cooking, put chopped garlic and herbs.

How to deliciously put out in a cauldron

In a cauldron you can cook a wide variety of dishes, including stewed chicken with vegetables.

If possible, then cook the dish on an open fire - the taste will turn out simply amazing.

Ingredients:

• bird carcass;
• two carrots and three onion heads;
• two heads of garlic (one for marinade);
• three tomatoes;
• bell pepper:
• five potato tubers (optional);
• a bunch of green onions.

Cooking method:

1. Cut the poultry carcass portionwise and marinate it for 45 minutes in a pulp of chopped garlic, salt and pepper.
2. In a cauldron we heat half a glass of vegetable oil and fry the rings of one onion. As soon as they become golden, put the pickled pieces of meat to them and fry them until golden brown. Then add the rings of the remaining onions and fry the ingredients for another 15 minutes.
3. Next, we send the carrots, cut into strips, into the cauldron, and after ten minutes pour boiling water so that it completely covers the meat with vegetables. Stew the composition for 15 minutes.
4. If you use potatoes in a recipe, then you need to cut it into four parts and put in the meat at this stage.
5. After 20 minutes, we add half rings of sweet pepper, chopped green onions and a head of garlic, cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer the dish for another 15 minutes.

With sour cream gravy

If you have long dreamed of making a meat dish that will simply melt in your mouth, then try the chicken recipe in sour cream sauce. The meat is very tender and juicy.

You can add any vegetables to the recipe, both fresh and frozen.

Ingredients for 400 grams of chicken:

• one pc. bulbs, tomato and sweet pepper;
• half zucchini;
• 80 ml of sour cream of any fat content;
• half a glass of broth;
• oil, spices.

Cooking method:

1. In hot oil, fry chicken pieces, then add to them cubes of pepper, tomato and zucchini, as well as half onion rings. Stew meat with vegetables for 15 minutes.
2. We spread sour cream, salt, spices to the ingredients and pour the broth.
3. Stir the dish under the lid for 40 minutes, periodically stir the chicken with vegetables.

Chicken stewed with vegetables and buckwheat

Braised chicken with vegetables and buckwheat is a good choice for a relaxing family dinner. Even the most inexperienced chef can cook such a dish.

Ingredients:

• 250 g chicken fillet;
• from vegetables: eggplant, zucchini, carrots, onions and bell peppers;
• three garlic cloves;
• half a glass of buckwheat;
• coriander;
• 25 ml of hot tomato sauce;
• parsley.

Cooking method:

1. Pass the cubes of onions and carrots in the heated oil, then fry them together with pieces of meat.
2. The remaining vegetables are cut into cubes, sent to the pan, add salt, coriander, crushed garlic and hot sauce.
3. It remains to add only buckwheat and simmer the dish until it is ready. A few minutes before the end of the process, we put chopped fresh parsley in an almost decorated dish.
Any part of the chicken is suitable for stewing, the main thing is that the meat is fresh, since the frozen product loses its taste. If you want to cook a diet dish, then choose the fillet, but a more tender dish is obtained from chicken meat.
