Universal recipes for preparing the meat component and side dish are a real find for women with a little time for household chores. Oven chicken with potatoes is one of them. To prepare it, it will take a little time to prepare the products, you just need to put everything in a baking dish. We suggest taking a few options.

Baked chicken legs in the oven with potatoes

To cook chicken legs baked in the oven with potatoes, you will need no more than half an hour to prepare the products.

It is enough to use the following number of them:

  • 4 chicken drumsticks;
  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 300 gr sour cream;
  • 200 gr of garlic;
  • a mixture of peppers;
  • salt.

Wash the legs thoroughly, remove the remaining skin and lint if necessary. Dry with paper towels. If the legs are large, you can separate the hip and leg along the joint.

Pass the garlic cloves through a press, mix with pepper and salt. Grate the resulting mixture and leave to marinate for half an hour or an hour.

In the meantime, prepare the potatoes: rinse off the remaining soil, peel, cut into rings, season lightly and salt and mix by hand.

Prepare the mold by lubricating it with oil. Put the potatoes with the first layer, then the legs with hips.

We cover the form with a sheet of foil, wrapping it around the edges. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. and bake the dish for 40-45 minutes. Remove the foil and leave for another five minutes to lightly brown the dish.

On a note. You can sprinkle the legs with potatoes with grated cheese and hold for 5-7 minutes without foil at the end of cooking, and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.

With the addition of mushrooms - a step by step recipe

You can cook chicken thighs with mushrooms and potatoes as follows:

  • champignons - 300 gr;
  • onions - 150 gr;
  • potatoes - 1 kg;
  • hips - 500-600 gr;
  • salt, pepper, turmeric, basil.
  • some oil for frying and preparing the mold;
  • Bay leaf.

We prepare the legs in the usual way - mine, clean.

We clean and rinse all vegetables, do the same with mushrooms.

Cut the mushrooms into a cube, chop the onion finely. Fry with salt in oil until juice appears, then turn off the fire.

Cut the potato into large cubes.

We prepare the form, put the potatoes on top of the onion and mushroom mass, then the legs, grated with salt and spices. In the middle of the form we put a lavrushka. We water everything with the remaining juice from the mushrooms. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Serve with fresh vegetable salads, spicy sauces.

In the foil in the oven

The prepared dish in foil is convenient in that you can make lunch / dinner in portions. For this method, you need to cut the foil sheets and put them in two layers, slightly raise the edges so that in the future they can be wrapped with a “seam” or twisted. We spread potatoes with a leg inside, if desired, pour with some sauce and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees. within 40 minutes.

A dish prepared in this way will retain all the juices, the meat will turn out to be very tender and juicy.

Under the crisp

  • 5 chicken drumsticks;
  • 2-3 table. l mayonnaise;
  • a pair of garlic cloves;
  • salt;
  • ground pepper;
  • paprika, turmeric, curry - 2-3 pinches.

We prepare the drumsticks and add pickling in a mixture of salt and spices for a third of an hour.

Squeeze garlic separately and mix with mayonnaise. Divide the sauce into two parts. Grate the legs with one part and leave for another half hour.

Wash the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Mix with the remaining sauce.

We grease the form with oil, put the potatoes, and on top the legs. Cover with foil and bake for a quarter of an hour, then bake without foil for half an hour.

Sleeve recipe

Chicken legs with vegetables cooked in a sleeve can be called the most tender and juicy version of this dish. Potato slices are very soft, melting in the mouth. And chicken meat is easily separated from the bone.

To prepare this dish, you can use one of the above options for combining products. The cooking process will differ only in that all the components are folded into a sleeve for baking mixed. Thus, vegetables are thoroughly soaked in chicken juice during the baking process.

Important! After putting food into the sleeve when tying the second end of the bag, it is important to blow off all the air - during baking, the sleeve will swell greatly, or make holes. For the same reason, it is important to place the baking sheet with the sleeve one level below the average so that the bag full of air does not touch the top of the oven and burst.

Chicken drumsticks with vegetables and potatoes

  • 650 gr chicken drumsticks;
  • 1.2 kg of potatoes;
  • 2 large onions;
  • 2 large carrots;
  • 600 gr oyster mushroom;
  • tin can. maize;
  • ½ tea. l sweet paprika and turmeric;
  • 1 tea l oregano and basil;
  • salt to taste;
  • couple table. l olive. oils.

In a bowl we mix spices and oil, add salt.

My legs are thoroughly washed, cut along the joint. If desired, skin can be removed. Rub the meat with spicy oil, put in a bowl and leave to soak a little.

In the meantime, we prepare the vegetables: peel, cut the potatoes with an average cube, and the onions and carrots are slightly smaller. Rinse oyster mushrooms and cut into cubes.

Put the prepared vegetables and mushrooms in a bowl, mix with spices and a little salt.

It is recommended to bake the dish either in the sleeve or in the form with a lid. First, put the mushroom-vegetable mixture mixed with corn, and on top of the chicken. Cover with a lid, or tie the other end of the sleeve. We send it to the preheated oven for an hour at 170-180 degrees. At the end of cooking, leave in the oven for another twenty minutes.

On a note.Partial preparation of the dish under the foil ensures that the products are steamed well. If you cook without it, it is recommended to pour approximately ⅔ cup of water, otherwise the potatoes will also turn dry.

In sour cream sauce

  • 600 gr chicken legs;
  • 400 ml sour cream;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 3 medium cloves of garlic;
  • salt, pepper, herbs;
  • 150-250 gr hard cheese;
  • a bunch of fresh herbs.

We prepare the drumsticks, peel and cut the potatoes. We clean and squash garlic cloves with a press, mix with sour cream, salt and spices. We part the sauce with water.

Mix the potatoes, chopped into cubes, and the legs with sour cream sauce. Leave to soak a little - about 20-30 minutes. Then put it in a mold, cover it with foil and bake a dish at 190 degrees. for half an hour. Then remove the foil, overwrite with cheese and cook for another quarter of an hour - the dish will lightly brown, the cheese will melt.

Serve the dish, sprinkled with chopped fresh herbs.

In mayonnaise

  • 500 gr chicken drumsticks;
  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 350 ml of mayonnaise;
  • salt pepper;
  • 1 medium onion.

We clean the vegetables. Cut the onion into thin half rings. My shins, clean.

Mix the drumsticks with mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Add onion. We mix everything well and send it to marinate for half an hour in a refrigerator.

We cut potatoes with plates 5-7 mm thick. We spread the first layer in a baking dish, slightly add salt. Spread the pickled shanks on top. Bake, as in previous recipes - first a little under the foil, then without it.
