Classic Chicken Nuggets

Pieces of tender, dietary meat are enjoyed by the kids. How to cook this dish? You can, of course, choose the simplest option - buy semi-finished products. But it’s better to spend a couple of minutes more and make chicken fillet nuggets - it’s both tastier and certainly more healthy.

The most popular are nuggets made in a traditional way. For its implementation you will need: one chicken breast, salt, pepper.

  1. Cut the meat along the fibers with pieces of 1 cm thick, salt and pepper. If you want, you can add dried herbs, chicken seasonings.
  2. Now prepare the batter for the nuggets. Pour the sifted flour into a separate container. In another deep bowl, beat 2 eggs. And another plate - breadcrumbs.
  3. We envelop the meat one by one in flour, egg mixture and breadcrumbs and send it into hot oil in a hot skillet. Fry the slices on both sides, and then put them on a paper towel - it will remove excess oil.

Your restless children beg at McDonald's? Don't you mind eating your favorite chicken nuggets? So why not cook them at home? It’s both cheaper and healthier and tastier, by the way.

The main ingredient of the dish is chicken. Take 2 pieces or 500 g.

To give the meat a brighter taste you will need:

  • salt, pepper and turmeric (a pinch);
  • juice of half a lemon;
  • you can still chop 3 - 4 cloves of garlic.

Dip fillets in egg and breadcrumbs, and fry in vegetable oil. So, let's get started.

  1. Rinse the fillet under running water and dry with a towel. Cut the meat into pieces and put them in a glass bowl.
  2. Now we combine salt, pepper, garlic and spices to taste, mix. Just do not overdo it.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg, pour a little water and add lemon juice.
  4. Pour crackers in a flat plate.
  5. Dip slices of fillet in egg mass, roll in breadcrumbs, and then put in a pan, where the vegetable oil has already been heated.
  6. Fry until a crust forms. Then put it on a plate covered with paper napkins.

Nuggets served immediately after cooking, still hot. Ketchup, cheese or some other sauce is perfect for the dish.

With soda and starch

To make chicken very tender and juicy, you can cook it according to this recipe. It involves the addition of starch, which softens chicken. Nuggets are not only tasty, but their appearance is presentable, so without any problems you can serve such a dish to the festive table.

  1. We wash the fillet and cut it into pieces.
  2. Salt the meat, add 1 tsp. baking soda and lemon juice (about the same), mix.
  3. Now it's the starch line. Again, stir the composition and leave for 20 minutes to marinate.
  4. Bone the meat in flour and fry in vegetable oil in a hot pan.
  5. We take out, remove the remaining fat with a napkin and serve to the table.

  3. In a separate container, mix crackers with spices.

  5. The nuggets are sent to the oven for a quarter of an hour, after which they are removed, turned over and set for another 5 minutes.

With cheese filling

These nuggets are incredibly tasty. To prepare them, take 2 pcs. chicken fillet, 200 g of hard cheese, 2 eggs, 100 g of breadcrumbs for breading, spices and salt.

  1. Grate the cheese or finely chop the straws.
  2. We cut the meat into small squares, salt and make a small cut in each, which we immediately fill with cheese.
  3. In another container, beat the eggs.
  4. Mix crackers with spices.
  5. Each piece is immersed in the egg mass, and then in the breading, and then sent to a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil.
  6. Bake nuggets at 180 degrees for 12 minutes. During this time, turn the pieces once so that a golden crust is formed on both sides.

It is best to serve nuggets with cheese, complementing them with a side dish. For example, they go very well with mashed potatoes.

Do not forget about the sauce, it emphasizes and enhances the taste of the dish.

A simple option in the microwave

No time or desire to cook? Buy ready-made chicken nuggets at the supermarket. Remove them from the box and place on a glass plate. You can bring the meat to readiness in the microwave at a power of 900 watts for 2 to 3 minutes.

Minced chicken

  1. We take the chicken fillet, grind it into minced meat in a meat grinder, salt, pepper and add finely chopped greens.
  2. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl.
  3. Sifted flour (2 tbsp. L.) And breadcrumbs for breading (glass) are distributed on different plates.
  4. We form small cutlets from minced meat. Dip them in the egg, then in the flour, again in the egg, and in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Minced chicken nuggets fried in sunflower oil for 5 minutes on each side. The pan must be red-hot.

Sesame Nuggets

Sesame fried nuggets are covered with a delicious crispy crust. The meat is juicy and tender.

 

Prepare 4 medium-sized chicken breasts, 3 eggs, 3 tbsp. l flour, 100 g of sesame seeds, salt, spices.

  1. Salt the meat, pepper, chop.
  2. Beat the egg, add spices.
  3. Roll pieces of chicken in flour, in egg mass, in sesame.
  4. Fry in sunflower oil on both sides.

Diet recipe in a multicooker

Are you on a diet? Or just not a fan of fatty foods?

Try making diet nuggets by cooking them in a slow cooker. Their calorific value is significantly lower than those fried in a pan in sunflower oil.

So, we need the following ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • salt, pepper, spices - optional;
  • flour - 3 tbsp. l .;
  • breadcrumbs - how much will it take;
  • 2 eggs.

Cooking Algorithm:

  1. The meat must be washed, dried and cut into portions. Salt them and season with spices.
  2. Beat the egg, add the flour and mix. Pour crackers in a plate. Grease the cooker bowl with vegetable oil. Precisely lubricate! The meat should not float in it. Select the "Frying" mode, the cooking time is 15 minutes.
  3. We dip each piece of chicken in egg-flour mixture, envelop in breadcrumbs and spread on the bottom of the bowl, where we fry each side for 6 minutes. Three minutes of them will go to warm the bowl.

You can cook chicken nuggets in a slow cooker and in the "Deep Fry" mode, but they will not work out dietary. However, they will also be very tasty. Bon Appetit!
