  3. Boil peeled potatoes, drain all the water. Make a puree with milk and add it to the chicken.
  4. Mix the minced meat with onions, chopped herbs, eggs and grated garlic.
  5. Moisten your hands with cold water and form small patties with a diameter of about 7-8 cm. Roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes on each side.

This may sound strange, but despite the large number of additional ingredients, they are almost not felt in this dish. Ready-made chicken and potato patties will surprise you with their juiciness and softness. Usually I use an oven or convection grill, but they are quite realistic to cook in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • minced chicken (you can buy ready-made or scroll in a meat grinder fillet and parts of the thighs without bones) - 600 g;
  • raw potatoes - 450 g;
  • milk - 500 ml;
  • onions - 150 g;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • hard cheese - 200 g;
  • flour - 1 tbsp. l .;
  • ground nutmeg - ½ tsp;
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

On a note! If possible, choose cheddar cheese or parmesan: they will add a taste of depth.

Cooking:

  1. Combine minced chicken with raw grated potatoes, finely chopped onions and eggs. Salt and pepper to taste and form small cutlets. Put them in a bowl of refractory glass.
  2. For the sauce, heat the milk in a saucepan, add flour, nutmeg, half the grated cheese and spices. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk. The sauce should thicken and resemble mayonnaise in consistency.
