Then gradually reduce the number of irrigations to 1 time per week. The procedure is best performed in the early morning or evening, when there is no scorching sun.
  2. Shelter from the scorching sun. To prevent the bushes from drying out, it is better to cover the strawberries with a special net that passes air well, but protects from direct sunlight.
  3. Loosening. It is necessary to carry out 1 time in 2-3 weeks.
  4. Timely weed removal.

But fertilize the plant in the first 2 years of life is not necessary. This will reduce the size of the berries.

The procedure is carried out only after 2 fruiting season. Do this in 2 stages:

  1. In late September - early October, mineral fertilizers and organics are applied under each bush.
  2. In early spring, urea must be added to the soil.

In this case, the bushes themselves need to be tightly covered with dry straw. If not, you can use peat.

In total, this strawberry variety will bear fruit for 3 years. After that, the bushes need to be updated.

Gardeners note that the first 2 seasons the berries are large, juicy. In season 3, a decrease in yield can be observed. Berries are reduced in size to 25-30 g.
