Classical eyelash extensions have many advantages over other methods. It allows you to achieve a luxurious volume and expressive look with maximum naturalness. Before the procedure, you should find out about the varieties of this technique, possible shortcomings and consequences.

Types of classic eyelash extensions

Classic is always in demand, because it does not bother, is easy to care for and looks natural. Thanks to the use of different approaches, experimenting with the main parameters (length, thickness, color and bending of artificial eyelashes), even the traditional extension can look different.

There are such varieties of it:

  • The effect of "naturalness". The master is trying to create the most natural look. The extension is carried out along the natural line of hair growth, the form does not change. The process uses artificial eyelashes of different lengths within 3-5 sizes.
  • Puppet effect. Hair with a maximum length of 12 mm is used, and along the entire line of the ciliary row.
  • "Fox" look. Using this technology, it is possible to increase the incision in the eyes. The shortest eyelashes are used at the inner corner; as you approach the outer part, the length of the hair gradually increases.
  • "Squirrel" look. The technique is as follows - at the inner corner, short eyelashes are used, approaching the center of the eye, the length gradually increases, and then decreases again, reaching the outer corner.

Pros and cons of the procedure

Benefits:

  • more natural look in comparison with other methods of building;
  • attractiveness of the image;
  • lasting effect;
  • lack of need for cosmetics.

And also it is worth highlighting the advantages of the classics depending on the technology of building. When using the beam method, the procedure is faster and costs a little cheaper. If you don’t do the correction, you can remove the beams yourself.

The eyelash technique is more natural, lacking the effect of “glued eyelashes”. If several hairs fall out, it will not be as noticeable as with the beam method.

In addition to the advantages, building has many disadvantages:

  • the need for constant correction, which requires considerable financial costs.
  • deterioration of natural eyelashes.
  • constant monitoring of their actions (you can’t sleep with your face in a pillow, wash your face gently);
  • the likelihood of an allergic reaction to the glue or material used;
  • inexperience of the master.

The latter is perhaps the most dangerous problem. It is worth contacting only professionals, otherwise you can get bad consequences, for example, contact with glue in the eyes, pain or unsuccessful build-up.

What does a classic look like?

The effect before and after depends on many parameters. An important role is played by the condition of their eyelashes, the skill of a specialist and the technology of extension.

The main difference between classics and volume building is volume. In the first case, you will not be able to get thick and fluffy eyelashes. This is only possible with the second extension method, since 2 or 3 artificial eyelashes are immediately glued to one own eyelash.

The result also depends on certain parameters:

  • The length of the artificial hairs. The classification is as follows: short (up to 8 mm), medium (9–12 mm), long (13–14 mm) and mega-long (over 15 mm). It is worth noting that the latter are practically not used, as they are uncomfortable to wear. The golden mean is average length.
  • The thickness of artificial eyelashes. It can be from 0.05 to 0.3 mm. The most commonly used are 0.8–1.15 mm. If your eyelashes are too thin, then artificial ones are also selected so that the effect of naturalness is not lost.
  • Color. Black and dark brown are in demand, but there are different shades.
  • Bend. There are 5 degrees - A, B, C, D, L. The first two are close to natural. The latter has an unusual shape, the hairs at the base are straight, and at the end they are strongly bent.

Which eyelashes are better to build? It depends on the preferences of the woman. If you want to achieve maximum naturalness, it is recommended to stay at an average length with A bend. If you want to get the most open look - long (12-14 mm). It is best to trust a professional. The wizard will select the right material to make a delightful image.

How long does the cosmetic effect last?

If the procedure is performed using high-quality material and in accordance with all the rules, then a beautiful appearance is provided for 3-4 weeks. As your eyelashes fall out, artificial ones will also fall out. Correction is preferably carried out after 3-4 weeks.

Scheme and technique

There are 2 ways to build classic:

  • Ciliary More time-consuming compared to the bundle, but eyelashes wear longer, because an artificial one is attached to each hair.
  • Beam. Eyelashes are not worn for long, about 3-4 weeks. Bundles of extra hairs are attached to the outer edge of the eyelid at regular intervals. Density can be different.

During the procedure, glue is used that does not harm the skin, but if it gets on the mucous membrane of the eye, it can cause a burn. With individual intolerance or low quality materials, an allergy occurs.

On average, the procedure lasts 1.5–2 hours. During the session, the woman is in a horizontal position. She should not open her eyes until the master permits her.

Building scheme:

  1. Sticking substrate.It glues along the lower eyelid to prevent the connection of the upper ciliary row with the lower.
  2. Treatment of upper eyelashes with a degreaser. This is necessary so that the artificial hairs hold tight.
  3. Escalation. New eyelashes are glued one by one to natural ones. They are attached with tweezers from the base to the middle of the hair. From the eyelid you need to indent 0.5 mm so that the glue does not come into contact with the skin. So that the woman does not feel discomfort during the wear, the minimum distance between the artificial additions should be 0.5-1 mm, otherwise there will be a feeling of tightening. Important. New hairs are glued according to the direction of the ciliary row.
  4. The final stage. The extended row is combed, the sticky areas are cut, the substrate is removed.

Only the master should remove extra eyelashes.

Who is contraindicated in the procedure

Restrictions on the use of the technique may be as follows:

  • allergic reaction;
  • profuse lacrimation;
  • infectious diseases of the eyes;
  • wearing contact lenses;
  • recent eye surgery;
  • poor condition of natural eyelashes (fragility, loss, poor growth).

The likelihood of allergies must be checked in advance.

Eyelash Recovery After Extension

The glue that is used in the extension process spoils the structure of the eyelashes. Hair becomes brittle, thinning, falling out. After removing the artificial eyelashes, it may seem that everyone has fallen out. It’s not worth worrying, they will grow over time. You can speed up this process.

The application of oils, special restorative serums. Nutrition and hydration promotes faster regeneration. Inside, you can take vitamins A and E.

When building eyelashes, you should contact only professionals, find out what material they use to read reviews in advance. No need to be shy about this, as eye health may be at stake.
