Cardiomagnyl, analogues based on acetylsalicylic acid and clopidogrel, are used to dilute blood, prevent the development of stroke and heart attack. Thanks to the means, the risk of heart and blood vessel diseases decreases, the quality of life improves, and its overall duration is extended.

Composition, active substance of the drug

The main component of Cardiomagnyl is acetylsalicylic acid, which belongs to NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Additionally, the substance relieves inflammation, lowers temperature and anesthetizes.

The drug is produced in Russia, Germany. Its distinguishing feature is the presence of magnesium hydroxide, which lowers the acidity of the gastric juice and prevents the effects of the drug on the walls of the stomach and intestines.

The medicine is available in two dosages - 75 and 150 mg, packaged in jars of 30 and 100 tablets.

Instructions for use include the main indications for taking the drug:

  • prevention of heart and vascular diseases with existing risk factors - high blood pressure, overweight, diabetes mellitus, endocrine diseases, old age, sedentary lifestyle, bad habits;
  • stabilization after myocardial infarction and its prevention;
  • after surgery on the vessels to reduce the risk of thromboembolism or clogging of blood vessels;
  • angina pectoris.

A dose of 75 mg is prescribed for the initial degree of heart and vascular disease and their primary prevention. In severe conditions, the patient is transferred to a dosage of 150 mg.

Important! When using Cardiomagnyl with alcohol, the positive and side effects of one and the second are enhanced.

According to the instructions, the drug is drunk after meals, at night, unless otherwise indicated by the doctor. Cracking, chewing, rubbing tablets is allowed. This does not violate the shell of the medicine and does not cause side effects.

Contraindications to the use of the drug are intolerance to the components, an allergic reaction to acetylsalicylic acid, bronchial asthma, bleeding of various nature, pregnancy, lactation and childhood.

When applied, it is possible to develop allergic reactions in the form of Quincke's edema, urticaria, itching, redness, nausea, heartburn, vomiting, bronchospasm. The drug contributes to increased bleeding, so it should not be taken with a tendency to the phenomenon.

In case of intolerance to the active substance, drugs are used as a substitute, based on clopidogrel of Russian and foreign production.

Russian analogues of the drug

If for some reason, for example, high cost, Cardiomagnyl does not fit, analogues can be found cheaper in each pharmacy:

  • Phasostable;
  • Thrombital;
  • Thrombomag;
  • CardiASK;
  • Acecardol;
  • Aspirin;
  • ASK cardio;
  • Aspinat Cardio;
  • Aspicore
  • Sanovask.

Acetylsalicylic acid, available in a dosage of 500 mg, is often used to thin the blood. In this case, the tablet must be divided into 4 parts and drink one fourth, which negatively affects the gastric mucosa and irritates it.

Phasostabil, Thrombomag, and Thrombital are Cardiomagnyl substitutes available in the same quantities and dosages. They also include magnesium hydroxide, which reduces the effect of acid on the stomach.

An analogue of Cardiomagnyl Russian Trombital in a dosage of 150 mg is available with the prefix forte.

Table. Dosage

A drugDosage
Cardiask100 mg 300 mg
Acecardol50 mg; 100 mg
Ask Cardio100 mg
Aspinat Cardio100 mg
Aspicore100 mg
Sanovask50 mg; 75 mg; 100 mg

Preparations of acetylsalicylic acid without a magnesium compound are enteric coated. They are less likely than pure aspirin to affect the gastric mucosa, less likely to cause bleeding and gastrointestinal ulcers.

Unlike Cardiomagnyl, its analogues (except Phazostabil, Trombomag and Trombital) cannot be halved, broken, chewed, bitten. Such manipulations violate the enteric membrane, can lead to exacerbation of diseases of the stomach and intestines, internal bleeding.

In case of intolerance or inefficiency of analogues based on acetylsalicylic acid, preparations based on clopidogrel are used.

Russian pharmaceutical companies produce them under the following trade names:

  • Clopidogrel;
  • Aggregal;
  • Sylt;
  • Fluder.

Their main action is the prevention of thrombotic and thromboembolic complications. Perhaps a joint appointment with Cardiomagnyl.

Imported Cardiomagnyl substitutes

Imported analogues of the drug based on acetylsalicylic acid include:

  • Thrombo ACC - 50, 100 mg;
  • Aspirin Cardio - 100, 300 mg;
  • Thrombogard - 100 mg.

A dosage of 50 and 100 mg corresponds to a dose of 75 mg Cardiomagnyl, 300 mg - respectively 150 mg.

These medicines come in enteric-coated tablets. It is not recommended to use them together with drugs from the NSAID group (Nimesulide, Ibuprofen, Aceclofenac, Diclofenac, etc.) because of the greater risk of complications.

To enhance the effect of blood thinning in order to prevent thrombosis and thromboembolism, in some cases, combinations of acetylsalicylic acid and clopidogrel are prescribed. They are sold under the trade names Koplaviks, Plagril A, Klopigrant A. Restrictions on their use are childhood, renal and hepatic insufficiency in acute form, bronchial asthma and a tendency to bleeding. For elderly patients, dosage adjustment is not required.

The drug Cardiomagnyl and its analogues are necessary to maintain the functioning of the heart and blood vessels, and to prevent the primary and re-development of stroke and heart attack. When applying, it is important to monitor blood counts.
