The preparation of the morning “portion of vivacity” can be turned into a sacred ritual using special attributes and secret tricks. True, there is not always time and opportunity for this. Because resourceful coffee lovers came up with a lot of life hacks, how to brew coffee in a microwave, a simple pan or ladle.

How to brew coffee in a Turk

The most picky connoisseurs of taste believe that it is possible to brew coffee correctly only in a special Turk, since its shape contributes to a slow and uniform heating of water. The extraction of essential oils under such conditions is most effective, a foam forms on the surface of the coffee, which prevents their evaporation, sealing the narrow neck of the Turks. As a result, the drink retains all the aroma and strength of the fried beans.

Everyone determines the concentration of coffee empirically.

On average, for a cup of coffee you need:

  • ground coffee - 7 - 10 g;
  • water - 100 ml;
  • sugar, spices and spices as desired.

To preserve the aroma, the coffee beans are ground immediately before use. For the Turks use the finest grinding.

You should also pay attention to the quality and taste of water.

Water should be soft, filtered, fresh, never boiled.

The algorithm of actions is simple, but still looks like a ritual:

  1. Cold water is poured into the turk, ground coffee is poured and gently stirred so that the powder sinks to the bottom.
  2. Sugar is added and slowly heated.
  3. After a few minutes, the movement of the foam becomes noticeable. Its progress is observed, not allowing the water to boil. From this moment on, it’s better not to let go of the Turkish pen.
  4. When the foam rises significantly, the coffee is removed from the fire. Professional barista do not advise him to simply put it on the table. Turning the Turk slightly, they give the drink a “live", move under a layer of foam. This will enhance the extraction process.Mixing coffee with a spoon is not recommended, so as not to destroy the layer of foam that preserves the aroma of the drink.
  5. When the foam settles slightly, the coffee is returned to the fire and allowed to rise again.
  6. Heating takes place in two to three sets. Coffee should be brewed in Turk no more than 3 - 6 minutes.
  7. In order not to filter the drink, a spoonful of ice water is poured into it, and the thick sediment quickly settles to the bottom.
  8. Before serving, warm the cups by filling them with boiling water or holding them over steam.
  9. Pour coffee with foam.

In a geyser coffee maker

This type of coffee maker can be ordinary, intended for use on a stove, or electric. The principle of operation is similar to the action of a geyser: under steam pressure, water rises from one tank to another. At the same time, it passes through a layer of ground coffee and is saturated with its aromatic oils and enzymes.

  • The amount of coffee is determined by the size of the filter.
  • The amount of water is the bottom tank.

Manufacturers of the device take care that the ratio is optimal.

For use in a geyser coffee maker, medium grinding is recommended.

  1. Water is poured into the lower tank. The maximum level mark is under the safety valve.
  2. The filter is not filled up with ground coffee. The coffee machine manual emphasizes that it is not advisable to tamp the coffee. A dense layer can block the passage of water and create excess pressure in the lower reservoir.
  3. The second tank is carefully screwed on top. The finished drink will be collected in it. The process can be observed by opening the cover.
  4. When all the liquid moves up, the heating is immediately stopped so as not to burn out the lower part of the apparatus.

In a geyser coffee maker, the drink is very strong. A pinch of salt or half a tablespoon of butter will help to soften the taste.

Microwave recipe

Not every office has a coffee machine, but this is not a reason to deny yourself natural, freshly brewed coffee. If it is possible to use a microwave, a cup of a life-giving elixir becomes quite affordable.

It is necessary to stock up in advance with a high glass mug so that you can observe the progress of the foam.

In the mug load:

  • two teaspoons of coffee;
  • 150 ml of water;
  • sugar and other additives to taste.

You will have to use grains ground in advance, since, for sure, the coffee grinder will also not be at hand. Mineral water can be poured, most importantly, without gas. Light saltiness will tone the taste of coffee, becoming a kind of flavor enhancer.

  1. Turn on the microwave at maximum power.
  2. We set the timer for one and a half minutes.
  3. When the “cap” of the foam begins to rise, open the door and cool the drink a little.
  4. In a minute we repeat everything all over again.

To get strong coffee, two to three sets will be enough.

How to make coffee in a ladle

Sometimes at home, too, have to use improvised means.

Making coffee without a turk is not a problem; for this, a small ladle made of stainless steel is perfect. But you will have to consider that the water in it will heat up very quickly, much faster than necessary for proper and effective extraction. To compensate for this, the empty bucket is heated, coffee is poured into it and roasted for several minutes, slightly shaking. Heated powder will quickly release aromatic oils into the water. If you need a sweet drink, sugar is mixed with ground coffee and warmed them dry together. A light caramel note is added to the aroma of coffee.

Standard proportions:

  • 15 g of coffee;
  • 150 ml of water;
  • other additives as desired.

Step-by-step preparation:

  1. Grind a serving of coffee beans.
  2. Warm coffee with sugar over low heat.
  3. Pour water into the bucket very carefully, as it is already hot. First pour a few spoons, and when the bottom cools down slightly, you can add the rest of the liquid.
  4. Then you should wait for the formation of foam, avoiding active drilling.
  5. Remove the ladle from the fire and, as experts say, give coffee a “walk."
  6. Return the drink to the stove and wait for the foam to flow again.
  7. Ready coffee can be left for a couple of minutes to infuse under the lid.

To filter the thick, lightly tap the bucket wall with a spoon. This will allow you to pour the drink without a filter or strainer, preserving the foam.

Delicious coffee in a pan

If you need to cook several servings of coffee at once, a savvy and an ordinary enameled pan will help out. In a wide dish, it is difficult to preserve the aroma of the drink. The trick is to lower the temperature of the water, prolonging the extraction process.

For a large capacity, the proportions of the ingredients will have to be changed:

  • 1.5 liters of water;
  • 200 g of ground coffee.

The taste of coffee prepared in a pan can be improved by adding spices or spices.

Step-by-step preparation:

  1. Coffee and half the water are heated to 50 - 60ºС.
  2. When the pan becomes noticeably warm, the second half of the water is poured.
  3. At the first sign of boiling, the appearance of foam or small bubbles, the pan leaves the fire. In order to preserve the aroma, it is covered with a lid, and in order to cool it, place a wet towel under it.
  4. After one to two minutes, the pan is returned to the fire.
  5. Another way to stop boiling water is to stir it with a chilled spoon.
  6. When the contents of the pan reach a boil for the second or third time, coffee is poured into cups.
