Today, you can see this multi-colored hand chewing gum in almost all children. They play with the slime and thus develop fine motor skills, calm the nerves (as psychologists say). The toy can be purchased at the store, but then it is not known at all what is included in its composition, but can be made at home from improvised materials. We offer several popular recipes on how to make a slime out of water so that it turns out to be bright, attractive and as safe as possible for a child.

How to make a slice of water and shampoo

The easiest cooking option is possible even for crumbs. And the consistency of such a toy is especially delicate. It is not hard, spreads nicely in the hands.

For the preparation of lizun from water and shampoo, in addition to these two ingredients, you still need salt.

First, in a small container, pour 5-6 tablespoons of shampoo (any one will do) and dilute with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Then it is necessary to gradually pour in the mixture non-iodized salt, while constantly stirring the mass. In total, two to five tablespoons of salt are needed - as soon as the slime becomes viscous, it is no longer necessary to add it.

In different versions of the recipes for preparing such a slime, there are additional components: shower gel, dishwashing detergent. You can also add sparkles or dyes to give the toy some color. But if the shampoo already has a shade, then the slime will turn out to be especially bright.

You need to store manual chewing gum at a low temperature, it is better in the refrigerator, then you can play with it longer - about a month and a half.

From non-Newtonian fluid

 

Many people remembered from the school chemistry course information about a miracle substance that is not solid, but at the same time does not spill out of a vessel. “Non-Newtonian fluid consists of two main components, taken in equal proportions.It is from the ratio of the amount of water and starch that a viscous mass of different consistency is obtained.

To prepare the ideal slime, you need to take equal parts of the components, for example, 900 g of corn (it is better suited, but you can also potato) starch and 900 ml of water.

Starch should be poured into a deep bowl. Then pour in a thin stream of water. At the same time, constantly mix the contents. You can do this even with your hands - it’s safe for children, but how interesting! Kids are already delighted with the process of creating such an interesting toy.

Plasticine toy

Such a handgam can be done at any time, because every child has plasticine.

What ingredients are needed:

  • soft plasticine (better than different colors that combine with each other) - 100 g;
  • edible gelatin - 15 g;
  • water - 1 cup cold, ½ cup hot;
  • pan and plastic bowl.

We start cooking:

  1. Soak gelatin in a pan, pour it with water for 1-2 hours.
  2. We put the container on a small gas, bring to a boil and remove.
  3. Pre-mashed plasticine is mixed in another bowl with warm water until a homogeneous state of the mass.
  4. Pour gelatin into a plastic container and mix the contents.
  5. We put the container with the mass in the refrigerator for 50 minutes-an hour.

Plasticine lizun is stored for a long time, especially in a cold place.

Shaving foam slime

If dad allows you to use your reserves to maintain beauty, then the kids' slime will come out white and very fluffy.

To prepare it you will need:

  • sodium tetraborate (borax) - 3.5 teaspoons;
  • shaving foam - 50 ml;
  • PVA glue - 30 ml;
  • water - half a glass;
  • 2 vessels.

 

First you need to mix glue and foam in one container to a homogeneous mass. Then gradually add a borax previously diluted with water into it. Instead of tetraborate, lens products (about 10 ml) can be used.

Throughout the process, all ingredients should be continuously mixed, only then can the desired effect be achieved.

The slime will be ready when the mass does not stick to the sides of the dishes. Then it’s still worth kneading in your hands for about five minutes. Everything - the toy is ready!

You can use toothpaste instead of shaving foam, then the “fluffy mucus” will also be very airy.

DIY flour

This slime recipe at home is the most affordable and safe.

The components are simple:

  • 400 g flour;
  • 50 g of water - hot and cold;
  • dyes (or brilliant green, iodine).

Stages of preparation:

  1. Sift flour so that there are no lumps.
  2. Add cold water to the flour, and then hot (not boiling water!).
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add a few drops of coloring matter if you want to make a multi-colored slime.
  5. Put the container with the mixture in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  6. After cooling, crush the mass in your hands - and it is ready for use.

Hydrogen oxide and paper slime

This recipe allows you to make the toy a more solid consistency. Slime doesn't change shape very well, but jumps super-cute.

Components:

  • hydrogen peroxide - 3-4 drops;
  • PVA glue - 100 ml;
  • starch (or soda) - 100 g;
  • water - 200 ml;
  • paper, dye - for decoration.

First you need to mix the starch with water to a jelly state, and then add glue, hydrogen oxide to the mass. Dyes will give the toy a bright color, and from the paper you can make interesting eyes for a cute slime.

From starch and water

Another safe recipe will be appreciated by caring parents.

For him we need:

  • potato starch - 1 cup
  • warm water - 100 ml;
  • half a teaspoon of dye (iodine and brilliant green fit).
  • deep bowl.

Stepwise Algorithm:

  1. Put starch and dye in the container, mix.
  2. Add a little water to the mass, constantly stirring the contents.
  3. The consistency gradually, during stirring, will change - from light jelly to elastic jelly. Slime is ready!

There is no chemistry in such a slime, so the shelf life of such a toy is short. But then do not worry about safety for the child.

How to make homemade slime from glue

Glue helps a mass of various ingredients stick together. Therefore, it is a component of many recipes for manual chewing gum.

A slime of water and glue can be made with the addition of:

  • boric acid;
  • food coloring.

We will deal with the sequence of processes:

  1. First, the borax should be dissolved in a glass of water. Do the process in a bowl, preferably a plastic one.
  2. In another container, 150 ml of glue (fresh, not dried!) To dilute in 150 milliliters of warm water until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  3. Add food coloring or iodine, broth, mix.
  4. Mix the contents of the two containers thoroughly. The toy is ready!

If instead of the usual dye to add phosphoric paint (2 g), you get a special slime - cosmic, which glows in the dark. Such a toy delights children, and adults too.

You can choose any of the recipes provided above, slightly modify them, adding ingredients for decoration. It can be beads, sequins, mother of pearl, essential oil (a few drops) for a pleasant aroma.

Keep the toy in a closed container, then it does not dry out and is stored longer. It is better at a time when the child does not play a slime, hide it in the refrigerator, which will also extend the shelf life of the chewing gum. Sun rays and heaters do not have a very positive effect on the state of the slime.

After the game, you need to wash your hands well, especially if the ingredients in the lizun are chemical. It is also important for parents to ensure that a small child does not pull a lizun in his mouth. The crumbs are not recommended to play with such a device.
