Ratatouille in a slow cooker

Despite the fact that the ingredients of the dish may remain the same, the recipe will no longer be considered a classic because of the slow cooker. It will not become traditional because of a completely different method of heat treatment, but the taste of the prepared dish according to the modified recipe is in no way inferior to ordinary food.

  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
  • eggplant, zucchini - 2 pcs.;
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • dry white wine - 1 glass;
  • garlic - 2 prongs;
  • spices, herbs, seasonings;
  • olive oil and tomato paste - 2 tablespoons each.

Cooking process:

  1. All vegetables are cut into thin slices or circles.
  2. For old vegetables, remove the skin and hard veins.
  3. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with oil, place all the ingredients, alternating with each other.
  4. Then pour wine, tomato paste over vegetables, add spices and herbs.
  5. In the slow cooker, select the "Extinguishing" mode.

The easiest way to cook ratatouille at home in the oven is the result of a nutritious dish with a low calorie content.

The main ingredients:

  • sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
  • lemon - 1 pc.;
  • seasonings and herbs;
  • eggplant - 1 pc.;
  • zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • 100 ml of dry white wine;
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • olive oil - 1 spoon.

Cooking Method:

  2. Slice the vegetables.

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add zucchini and eggplant, sliced ​​in circles.
  2. Wait for the color to change, then add onion and garlic.
  3. After another five minutes, sweet peppers and tomatoes are added.
  4. Then the stew is seasoned with spices, herbs.
  5. After this, the pan is covered, the fire is reduced and the stew is stewed.
  6. On average, cooking lasts 25 minutes.
  7. Then remove the lid, bring the dish to cooking for 5 minutes, increasing the heat to evaporate excess liquid.

With chicken breasts

  • white wine - 100 ml;
  • lemon juice from half the fruit;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • seasonings and herbs of Provence.

Stages of cooking:

  1. Peel and dice potatoes and fry separately.
