Classical okroshka on kvass

Okroshka on kvass is the most common cooking option for this dish. Usually they use unsweetened medium-carbonated kvass, but you can take any, depending on your own preferences.

Required Products:

  • 4 potatoes;
  • 200 g of cooked sausage;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 2 fresh cucumbers;
  • half onion;
  • a bunch of greenery;
  • 1 liter of kvass;
  • sour cream.

Cooking:

  1. Wash and boil the potatoes (for okroshka, the yellow variety is more suitable). Cut into cubes.
  2. Cook the eggs for 7-10 minutes and chop coarsely.
  3. Grind sausage, cucumbers and onions.
  4. Wash and dry the greens, chop finely. Traditionally, green onions and dill are placed in okroshka.
  5. Mix all the foods in a saucepan.
  6. Arrange the mixture on serving plates and pour in chilled kvass.
  7. Serve with sour cream.

Cooking on kefir

Okroshka on kefir has a special mild taste with a slight acidity. Great for those who don't like fizzy drinks. This dish is best done with lean meats.

Products:

  • 300 g chicken or turkey;
  • 4–5 potatoes;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 5-6 pcs. radish;
  • 2 medium cucumbers;
  • dill to taste;
  • 1.5 liters of kefir.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Boil the meat, cool and cut into small pieces.
  2. Boil and chop potatoes and eggs.
  3. Wash radishes and cucumbers. If they have a thick and bitter peel, it is better to peel it. Dice vegetables.

It is better to use a product with a minimum percentage of fat content, otherwise the okroshka will turn out to be too thick. If necessary, kefir can be diluted with water.

  • 4 milk sausages;
  • 3 medium potatoes;
  • 2 small cucumbers;

  1. Boil potatoes and eggs. Sausages can be used both raw and boiled.

  • 400 g of potatoes;

  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 onion;
  • 5 heads of radish;
  • a large bunch of greenery;
  • 700 ml of ayran.

Cooking:

  1. Boil potatoes, cool and cut into cubes.
  2. Cut the sausage into small strips. You can take a doctor's or smoked.
  3. Hard-boiled eggs and finely chop.
  4. Wash and chop the cucumber, radish and onion. It is necessary to peel the vegetables if they are overripe.

  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 pickled cucumbers;
  • 2 potato tubers;

  • a bunch of greenery;
  • sour cream.

Cooking:

  1. Cook the meat and cut into small pieces.
  2. Grind the mushrooms, after allowing the excess liquid to drain.
  3. Cut boiled potatoes and eggs into small cubes. For density, grind one half of mashed potatoes.

  5. Chop greens and add to other products at the very end. Dill and green onions go well with mushrooms.
  6. Dilute okroshka with water in a ratio of 1: 1.

Another popular way to cook okroshka is with kefir and mineral water. Kefir gives this dish satiety, and mineral water - a refreshing taste. To add spice, you can add mustard dressing to the dish.

  • 200 g of cooked sausage;
  • 100 g of pork;
  • 4 potatoes;
  • 5 eggs;
  • 3 cucumbers;
  • greens to taste;
  • 0.5 l of low-fat kefir;
  • 0.5 mineral water;
  • 1 tbsp. l finished mustard;
  • sour cream.

Cooking:

  1. Boil pork and cut into small pieces.
