The main active ingredient of the drug is inosine pranobex, which is synthesized as an immunostimulating agent.

The pharmacodynamics of Isoprinosine consists in stimulating lymphocytes to produce antibodies, as well as inducing accelerated division of monocytic cells contained in plasma. The use of the drug has proven effective in cases of infection with the herpes virus, measles, influenza (types A and B), equine encephalitis and several others. Isoprinosine 500 mg tablets also contain auxiliary substances:
- mannitol - at the same time has a diuretic effect, and also improves the taste due to sweetness;

Contraindications, side effects and overdose
