Pea soup is loved by many of our compatriots. This is not surprising, because this dish is very hearty, tasty, nutritious. Many housewives do not like to cook it because of seeming difficulties, but thanks to the modern invention - a multicooker, it is not difficult to delight your home with this soup.

Pea soup in a slow cooker - a classic recipe

To prepare you will need:

  • crushed peas - 200 g;
  • potatoes - 450 g;
  • beef on the bone - 500 g;
  • onions and carrots - 1 pc.;
  • spices (salt, pepper, bay leaf) - to taste;
  • sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. l
  1. The first thing to do since the evening is to soak the washed peas and leave it overnight. So it absorbs a lot of moisture and it will not take so long to cook it.
  2. We cook meat broth in a pressure cooker.
  3. We prepare the ingredients for overcooking: three carrots, finely chop the onion. A little secret: if your family has children, then onions can also be rubbed on a fine grater.
  4. Pour a little oil at the bottom of the multicooker bowl, put the prepared onions and carrots there, set the mode to “fry” on the indicator of the device and leave it for 15 minutes.
  5. While onions and carrots are being prepared, we will deal with potatoes. It should be washed well, cleaned, cut into cubes or straws, as anyone loves.
  6. Add the potatoes to the overheat along with the prepared peas.
  7. Pour the ingredients with fragrant beef broth and turn on the “soup” mode.
  8. Now you can go to rest, and exactly one hour later enjoy the taste of this dish.

Step by step recipe. Cooking pea soup with smoked ribs

Take the following ingredients:

  • crushed peas - 300-350 g .;
  • carrots and onions - 1 pc.;
  • potatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • smoked ribs, pork - 500 g (maybe a little less, then the soup will be less greasy);
  • salt and pepper to taste;
  • water - about 2 liters.
  1. As in the previous recipe, be sure to soak the peas. In this case, the dish will be ready twice as fast, in addition, you will not have to spend extra electricity.
  2. Fry chopped carrots and onions. You can do this in a slow cooker by setting the mode to "frying", or in the classic way - in a pan.
  3. We take smoked ribs, wash them and chop into small parts - it will be more convenient to eat. The ribs should be slightly fried along with vegetables, then the taste of the dish will be more piquant.
  4. Wash and finely chop the potatoes.
  5. If the ingredients were cooked in a pan, then it’s time to put them in a slow cooker and add potatoes, peas, seasoning, and fill it all with two liters of water.
  6. We press the “Soup” indicator, set the cooking time - 40 minutes.
  7. To make the taste of the soup even more interesting, it will be good to submit garlic croutons to it. To do this, it is enough to dry the black bread in a pan without butter, and when it dries a little, spread with grated garlic and dry for another five minutes.

On chicken stock in a slow cooker

This version of this soup is not as popular as the previous two, but it does not spoil it at all.

Dish ingredients:

  • chicken (you can take a whole, you can use breasts, wings - as you like);
  • crushed peas - 300 g;
  • carrots, onions - 1 each;
  • potatoes - 4-5 pcs.;
  • ham - 200 g;
  • black pepper, salt, bay leaf - to taste.
  1. We prepare peas in advance, as in the first two recipes.
  2. We cook the chicken so that we get 2 liters of broth. The more meat you take, the stronger the broth you get.
  3. In this recipe it is recommended to cut the carrots for overcooking into cubes, and onions, if there are no obvious opponents of this ingredient among homemade products, into half rings. This will make the dish unusual.
  4. We send carrots and onions to the multicooker bowl and cook in the “frying” mode for about 5 minutes.
  5. After 5 minutes, add the ham to the vegetables and fry another 5 minutes. You can also fry chicken (it is better separately and add it later with potatoes), while it is recommended to increase the frying time if there is a desire to brown the ingredients until crisp.
  6. Next, put peas in the bowl.
  7. Add broth, cook in the “soup” mode for 40 minutes.
  8. It is recommended to add meat and potatoes not immediately, but 20 minutes before the end of cooking.
  9. Do not forget to add salt, spices.

Pea Puree Soup

Such a soup will be enjoyed even by fastidious children, because it is very tasty, delicate and, importantly, not so difficult to prepare.

Ingredients for Lean Soup:

  • potatoes - 500-600 g;
  • crushed peas - 200-250 g .;
  • carrots and onions - one each;
  • Refined vegetable oil - 50 ml .;
  • water - 1.5 l .;
  • seasoning, salt, spices, garlic - to taste;
  • unsweetened white bread - as needed, for making croutons;
  • parsley, dill - to arrange the filing.
  1. Pre-soak peas in water.
  2. Before cooking, peas should be washed again and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Grind onions, garlic and carrots on a grater or in a blender.
  4. After adding oil to the bottom of the multicooker bowl, put the ingredients for overcooking there and, setting the “baking” mode, cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare the potatoes, cut them into cubes, add them to the onions and carrots along with peas and spices.
  6. Pour 5-6 glasses of water into the bowl.
  7. In the "extinguishing" mode, leave the crock-pot for 90 minutes.
  8. Next, you need to pour out the excess liquid, and grind the vegetables using a blender.
  9. Stew with the remaining vegetable broth (the one that was drained) for another 10-15 minutes.

Serving this dish is recommended with crackers, herbs, you can add pine nuts.

If you want to cook non-lean soup, then meat broth should be added instead of water.

Original Meatball Cooking Method

You will need:

  • minced meat (this can be beef, pork, poultry) - 400 g;
  • onions, carrots - 1 each;
  • crushed peas - 300 g;
  • potatoes - 400 g;
  • salt, bay leaf - to taste;
  • water - about 2 liters;
  • frying oil.
  1. We prepare peas in the same way as indicated in the recipes above.
  2. We clean vegetables. Cut onions and carrots finely, potatoes - a little larger.
  3. We set the “frying” mode on the indicator and the cooking time is 20 minutes. We send onions and carrots to the bowl, fry for 5 minutes.
  4. During this time, we make meatballs and fry them with carrots and onions for another 15 minutes.
  5. Pour the prepared hot water into the bowl, add potatoes and peas, set the “soup” mode and cook for 1 hour.
