To diversify the usual diet with some unusual treats, it is enough to cook pea soup with smoked chicken. The taste of a familiar dish due to the aromatic addition will become rich and unusually pleasant. The main thing is to stock up on necessary products and adhere to a certain cooking technology. By the way, it is better to use chopped peas for soup, because working with it will be much simpler and faster.

Basic first course recipe

First, consider how to make a rich first course with a mouth-watering aroma.

The composition of the components:

  • peas - 110 g;
  • smoked chicken - 320 g;
  • potatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • broth - 2 l;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • sunflower oil - 15 ml;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • dill - a bunch;
  • allspice - 4 peas;
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.;
  • salt - 1 tsp. (without slide);
  • paprika, ground pepper - ½ tsp each.

Work Stages:

  1. It is important to use vegetable or meat broth to make the soup more flavorful and rich. Wash the peas, soak for 2 hours in cold water, then boil in the broth until soft.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Add to the pan.
  3. Shred the onion as small as possible, process the carrots on a grater. Fry both components in oil for 5 minutes. Pour into soup, mix the composition.
  4. Smoked meat is separated from the seeds, if any, then divided into small pieces.
  5. When the parts of the tubers become soft, place the chicken. Cook the soup under the lid for another 10 minutes.
  6. At the end, salt the treat, season with chopped herbs, spices, throw a bay leaf. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, insist 10-15 minutes.

Smoked chicken pea soup in a slow cooker

To make the cooking process much easier will help modern kitchen appliances.

Ingredients:

  • peas - 345 g;
  • bacon - 220 g;
  • smoked chicken - 480 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • celery - 1 petiole;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • butter - 55 g;
  • salt - 1 tsp;
  • ground pepper - ½ tsp.

Work Stages:

  1. We wash the peas, fill with water, leave for 2 hours.
  2. Smoked meats are cut into pieces, and chop the bacon into cubes.
  3. We clean the vegetables, chop them in the usual way.
  4. Using the "Multipovar" mode and an operating temperature of 165 degrees, we heat the oil in the capacity of the appliance. Fry onion with carrots and celery on it for 5-6 minutes. Add 1.5 l of water or broth, wait until the composition boils. We close the device and cook the products for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour peas, mix the composition. After 5 minutes, lower the temperature to 125 degrees. Salt the broth, add spices. Cooking soup for 30 minutes.
  6. We put the chicken in the bowl, simmer for another 25 minutes on the same program.
  7. We decorate the resulting pea soup in a slow cooker with fresh herbs or crunchy croutons.

With smoked pork ribs

To make the dishes more attractive, elegant and festive, we use a little smoked ribs for this.

Required Components:

  • smoked chicken - 300 g;
  • pork ribs - 530 g;
  • peas - 2 tbsp .;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • sweet pepper - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • garlic - 2 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • salt - 1 tsp;
  • dill - a bunch;
  • bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
  • ground pepper - 1 tsp.

Work Stages:

  1. We sort the peas, getting rid of possible debris, rinse, soak in cold water for 3 hours.
  2. Boil ribs for 40 minutes over medium heat. We divide them into two parts. With one we remove the bones, chopping the meat into pieces, while the other is left for decoration.
  3. Cook the peas on the resulting broth until tender.
  4. We clean the vegetables, grind them, then we pass in oil for 2 minutes.
  5. In a separate pan, lightly fry the smoked chicken cut into strips.
  6. When the peas become soft, add frying, chicken and pork meat, spices to the pan. Mix the products.
  7. After a few minutes, add sweet pepper, chopped into strips.
  8. Cook the soup for another 15 minutes, after which we season with garlic and herbs.

Pour the dishes on plates, decorate with left pork ribs.

Variation with crackers and herbs

She is also quite easy to prepare a variation of fragrant soup with smoked wings.

Necessary components:

  • peas - 210 g;
  • potatoes - 3 tubers;
  • smoked chicken wings - 10 pcs.;
  • onions (medium) - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • crackers with garlic - 100 g;
  • vegetable oil - 15 ml;
  • dill - 80 g;
  • salt and ground pepper - ½ tsp each.

Important! Rusks can be used store-bought or cooked with your own hands. In the second case, you only have to fry the garlic in vegetable oil, and then add a handful of white bread crushed in small cubes to the pan. The total cooking time is 5-7 minutes.

Work Stages:

  1. We divide the wings in half. From one part we cook the broth. The process takes 15–20 minutes. We take out the meat, separate it from the bones.
  2. Soak the peas in cold water for 4 hours. The swollen product is cooked in chicken broth for 25-30 minutes.
  3. We send potatoes chopped into cubes into the pan. When the composition boils, reduce the heat.
  4. We pass the vegetables in vegetable oil, send them to the soup. We lay the left chicken meat.
  5. Salt the broth, season with various spices and chopped fresh dill.
  6. When the soup is ready, arrange the portions, pour a handful of garlic crackers in each plate and put on the smoked wing.

How to make mashed soup

One of the most popular versions of pea soup. The taste of this dish is liked even by children.

Ingredients Composition:

  • peas - 1 tbsp .;
  • smoked chicken fillet - 230 g;
  • potatoes - 3 tubers;
  • carrot - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • garlic - 25 g;
  • vegetable oil - 55 ml;
  • greens - a bunch;
  • water or broth - 2 l;
  • salt - ½ tsp;
  • spices - ½ tsp

Work Stages:

  1. We leave the peas to soak overnight. In the morning it needs to be boiled in the indicated volume of water or in the broth until half ready.
  2. Add half smoked chicken to the pan.
  3. We clean the potatoes, chop the straws, and send them to the soup. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Chop the onion as finely as possible, process the carrots on a grater. Fry vegetables with pieces of the remaining poultry meat in vegetable oil. The time is 5 minutes. At this stage, you can put a little flour in the pan to make the finished dish thicker (according to preference).
  5. We get the chicken from the soup, which managed to give the dish its rich aroma. We will not need this component anymore.
  6. Grind the remaining mass with a blender directly in the pan. Introduce roasting, salt, season with spices.
  7. Bring the resulting pea soup puree to a boil, combine with chopped herbs and garlic.

Serve a treat with croutons and fresh vegetables.
