Spicy mustard-honey sauce can be called universal. Depending on the additional additives, it goes well with meat, poultry and fish. It is possible to make the taste of such a sauce more interesting with the help of a variety of spices.

Mustard Honey Olive Oil Sauce

The composition includes: 60 ml of quality olive oil, 1 tbsp. spoonful of mustard, freshly squeezed lemon juice, natural bee honey, garlic clove, pinch of nutmeg, salt to taste.

  1. Honey for the base of such an additive is exclusively liquid. The candied product will have to be heated in a water bath.
  2. First, the liquid component combines with mustard. The resulting mass is salted to taste, citrus juice is squeezed into it, pounded garlic and nutmeg are added.
  3. Lastly, oil is poured into the sauce.
  4. All components are again well rubbed, cleaned in a closed container and placed in the cold.

After 2 hours, the supplement can be used for its intended purpose.
Nasturtium, thyme and calendula serve as an excellent seasoning.

How to cook based on mayonnaise?

Ingredients: 120 g of fat sour cream, 15 g of liquid honey and mustard, 0.5 tsp each chopped fresh garlic, dill seeds, ground pepper mixture, table salt to taste.

  1. First, mustard is laid out in a glass bowl and liquid honey is poured. You can immediately add pepper, salt to taste and crushed garlic to the bowl. All components must be actively ground for a couple of minutes.
  2. Separately, dill seeds are converted into powder and added to the total mass.
  3. Last of all, sour cream is poured into the sauce. In a cool place, the additive should stand for about half an hour.

Next, you can serve the finished sauce as a chicken dressing.

Fresh Ginger Recipe

Ingredients: 15 g of mustard, fresh finely chopped garlic and grated ginger root, 60 g of olive oil, 25 g of liquid bee honey, half a lemon, salt, a pinch of ground black pepper. How to cook the sauce with the addition of ginger is described in detail below.

  1. Citrus is washed thoroughly. Juice is carefully squeezed out of its half. Also, zest is carefully removed from this part of the fruit, which is ground with a fine grater. In the same way, ginger root without skin is also rubbed.
  2. Honey and mustard are added to the ingredients prepared in the first step.
  3. Squeezed garlic is also sent to the mass. The mixture is salted and peppered to taste.
  4. It remains to add olive oil to the sauce.

Before serving, the mixture will be infused in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Mustard Honey Sauce with Lemon Juice

Ingredients: 2 dessert spoons of olive oil, liquid honey and French mustard, 1 dessert spoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, a pinch of dried garlic, salt, nutmeg.

  1. In a small glass bowl, honey and mustard are thoroughly mixed. The beekeeping product must be of liquid consistency.
  2. Freshly squeezed lemon juice, pre-filtered through a fine sieve, is poured into carefully mixed components.
  3. Olive oil is poured into the prepared mixture. Further, all components are actively whipped with a fork. A mixer or blender should not be used for this. The sauce should be a homogeneous consistency.
  4. Lastly, the mass is added, nutmeg and garlic passed through the press are added to it.

This sauce is perfect for pork. It must be stored in a cool place under a film or a lid.

With yogurt and soy sauce

Components: 130 g of natural unsweetened yogurt, 1 tbsp. spoon of natural liquid honey (bee), 2 tbsp. tablespoons of soy sauce without additives, 1 teaspoon of mustard, a pinch of finely grated ginger and the same amount of dry Italian herbs, 3 peas of black pepper.

  1. First of all, honey is prepared. It is heated slightly in the microwave or in the water bath. The product is then transferred to a glass bowl and immediately mixed with mustard.
  2. Soy sauce without additives is poured into the resulting mass, dry Provence herbs, ginger powder, ground peppercorns are added.
  3. You need to leave the mixture under the film for about half an hour. During this time, spices dissolve their taste and aroma.
  4. Next, yogurt is added to the sauce base.

After mixing, the dressing can be used for its intended purpose.

With lemon and rosemary

Components: 2 dessert spoons of mustard (not too sharp), natural bee honey, 3 tbsp. tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of soy sauce without garlic and other additives, a pinch of dried rosemary, table salt to taste, a mixture of peppers, boiled water.

  1. At first, the honey is slightly warmed up. This will allow a water bath or microwave. All mustard is added to the warm mass immediately. The ingredients are well ground.
  2. Then, liquid components are poured into the base for the sauce - this is soy sauce and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Boiled water is also added. It needs to be taken very little to get the sauce of the desired consistency.
  3. The last to pour dry components into the mass. This is rosemary and a mixture of peppers. Pour salt after taking the sample. Soy sauce is quite salty, so it is easy to salt with it.

Such an additive is obtained not only tasty and aromatic, but also low-calorie. If you just serve it with lettuce, you get the perfect snack for a diet.

Mustard Honey Sauce with Vinegar

Ingredients: 1 tbsp. spoon of olive oil and wine (white) vinegar (6%), garlic clove, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of mustard of low strength, 1 teaspoon of bee honey, salt, any spices.

  1. First mix the base for mustard and honey sauce.
  2. Liquid components are added to it - wine (white) vinegar and olive oil.
  3. Garlic is passed through a press and, together with the selected spices, is sent to the total mass.
  4. It remains to salt the sauce. If desired, you can pepper it.

Ready sauce is suitable for a variety of meat and fish treats. The finished product is stored in a cold place for no more than 6-7 days.
