High yields are the dream of everyone who is fond of crop production. Weeds are natural enemies that have to be fought with a variety of means. The herbicide Lapis lazuli allows you to deal with this obstacle much faster.

Characteristic, composition and principle of action of the herbicide

Herbicide treatment significantly reduces efforts to care for large plantings. The drug Lapis lazuli helps to cope with the most common weeds, including sow thistle, shepherd’s bag, oatmeal, stubble and many others.

The basis of the drug is metribuzinum in high concentration. That is why for processing from weeds, it is required to prepare a solution in advance.

The principle of operation of this tool is as follows:

  • the solution penetrates the root system of the plant and through the leaf plates when sprayed. The impact on the weed is produced during the growing season, even if seedlings of the terrestrial part have not yet appeared. The time for the complete destruction of weeds is fourteen days;
  • the time during which repeated shoots cannot be detected is from a month to two. However, the main aspect in this case will be the weather. If there is no precipitation, the herbicide is retained much longer in the soil layer;
  • re-treatment will be required if there was heavy rain. It is carried out in a month. Sometimes it is necessary to re-spray and for other reasons - because of the excessive clogging of the field by weeds.

Advantages and features of application

Lapis lazuli Super is a universal drug that works effectively in the open field on planting tomatoes or potatoes. The main advantages of this tool:

  • high penetration, since the particles of the active substance are extremely small in size. Due to this, they quickly spread in the root system of weeds and in their leaves;
  • practicality and a wide range of impact - about fifty species of weeds fall under its influence;
  • prolonged exposure - secondary germination can occur only after a long period;
  • ease of preparation of the current composition and its use;
  • profitability due to low cost;
  • the ability to combine with other drugs with a similar effect.

Lapis lazuli is a selective drug that does not harm the main crops, while it does not accumulate in the soil layer, does not interfere with the photosynthesis process and does not remain in the fruits, roots or leaves of healthy plants. Meanwhile, it should be recalled that the use of pesticides in agriculture can well be replaced by traditional weeding.

How to prepare a working solution, dosage

The options for preparing the working solution depend on what type of treatment is to be carried out. So, for a single treatment of crops, it is necessary to use one sachet of the product per liter of water, and after mixing, add fluid to six liters.

If double treatment is expected, then the primary requires only twenty grams of the drug, which is diluted in twenty liters of liquid. The concentration of the active substance, recognized as the maximum, is 0.5 percent.

Different cultures require different composition consumption. So, when processing plantings of potatoes, up to 2.5 liters per hundred parts are required. If it is necessary to ensure the growth of tomatoes, twice as much will be required for the same area - up to five liters. If tomatoes are grown by seeds in the soil, then - 3.5 liters.

Methods and time of treatment of the herbicide Lazurite

Two options for the use of the drug are expected - single and double treatment.

Single landing treatment

The soil is cultivated before the germination of the weeds, while the main crops also should not have seedlings and planted with good depth. A day is selected with "calm" weather, lack of wind.

Instructions for use:

  1. initially the earth is watered, cultivation is carried out;
  2. a powder agent is diluted in a bucket or other container with water;
  3. when the soil settles, spraying is carried out;
  4. the rate of application of a selective action herbicide per hectare ranges from kilogram to one and a half.

Double processing of landings

The conditions for the first spraying are similar to a single treatment, however, the consumption rate changes: per hectare requires from half a kilogram to 1 kg of substance.

The second treatment is carried out when the shoots rise above the ground by five centimeters. At the same time, consumption rates do not exceed four hundred grams per hectare.

It is important to consider the type of soil: if it refers to heavy soils, then the maximum dose of the drug will be needed. If to the lungs, then shortened. Moreover, when the humus in the soil layer is less than one percent, the drug is not used at all.

Precautions While Using The Drug

Unlike many other drugs, Lapis lazuli is not particularly toxic. However, you need to carefully consider the following points:

  • pick up individual protection, namely, the person who is spraying should have gloves, a protective gown, a mask and glasses;
  • during transportation, the packaging of the drug should be completely closed;
  • contact of the product with food or animal feed is prohibited;
  • the drug is stored in rooms where the temperature can vary from minus ten to 35 degrees, exclusively in the original packaging;
  • Shelf life is five years.
