For a traditional French breakfast, it’s important not the number of dishes, but their refinement and quality. The table should contain sensual notes. Enjoyment is what matters in a French breakfast.

The menu should include the following dishes:

Minced chicken brizol

For a gourmet dish with a mysterious name, you will need a little more time and ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • chicken fillet - 150 g;
  • milk - 2 tbsp. l;
  • sour cream - 50 g;
  • pickled cucumbers - 2-3 pcs.;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • dill greens;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt pepper.

We prepare the dish as follows:

  1. To begin with, mix sour cream, finely chopped dill, transferred garlic and salt. It turns out the sauce for brizoli.
  2. The next step is the preparation of the brizols themselves. To do this, we pass the chicken fillet through a meat grinder.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the minced meat and form two balls. For density, beat the forcemeat, throwing it strongly on the work surface.
  4. Place the formed meat balls between the cling film and level to make thin cakes according to the diameter of the pan, about 20-22 cm.
  5. Beat the eggs with milk with a fork, add a pinch of salt. The egg mixture must be poured into a plate and in the middle put the tortilla from the minced meat.
  6. On a preheated frying pan, greased with oil, carefully pour the egg with minced meat without damaging the structure. Cook over medium heat. After one side grasps, we turn the pancake on the other side.
  7. Put the finished cake on a plate, spread with sour cream sauce, put the cucumbers cut into strips in the middle. After that, we turn the brizoli into a roll and get a tasty and rather unusual dish, besides easy to prepare.

Salad with poached egg and poached egg

Easy to cook poached egg can be used as an independent dish, put on a crispy toast, and you can cook a simple salad:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • Corn salad leaves - 80 g;
  • ham - 200 g;
  • hard cheese - 100 g;
  • light mayonnaise;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Disassemble the salad into separate leaves, removing the coarse part. To achieve maximum freshness, they can be wetted in cold water. Since lettuce leaves are quite small, they are not torn to pieces, but put in their entirety.
  2. The ham should be cut into small cubes, and the cheese should be grated on a peeler or cut into thin slices.
  3. Mix all the ingredients, salt, pepper and add light mayonnaise. With a blender on hand, you can make homemade mayonnaise sauce.
  4. Having laid the finished dish on a plate, put a poached egg on top, cutting it.

Strawberry and Jam Croissants

A traditional French breakfast includes freshly baked pastries. The real pleasure is to have a cup of coffee with crispy toast or a tender croissant made from puff pastry, fresh from the oven. In order to enjoy only the freshest pastries, you can cook some dishes at home. Here is one of them.

  • oil - 300 g;
  • milk - 1 cup;
  • yeast - 50 g;
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • sugar - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;
  • flour, how much dough will take;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • Strawberry and peach jam for toppings.

Cooking the dough:

  1. We heat the milk by dissolving the yeast in it, add the vanilla sugar and the egg.
  2. A third of the chilled oil is grated and mixed with flour, adding sugar and salt.
  3. Combine and knead both mixtures. The result should be a small ball of soft dough, which we place in the refrigerator for an hour and a half, wrapped in cling film. An important point. Sieve flour for the dough several times through a fine sieve so that it is saturated with oxygen. So the baking is magnificent and tender.
  4. We take out the dough, which has cooled in order, from the refrigerator and roll it into a thin layer.
  5. Grated chilled butter sprinkle the dough and fold in half, roll again. We do this several times. Having folded the dough in three layers, we send it to the freezer and leave it overnight.
  6. We take out the dough and roll out a thin layer. As a filling, we use strawberries and jam. Cut the rolled dough into triangles, put the filling on the narrow edge (cut the strawberries into pieces) and wrap the dough, starting from an acute angle. The edges are folded in the form of a crescent.
  7. Bake until cooked at a temperature of 180 degrees.

It is better to bake croissants in the morning right by breakfast, so they will get on the table still hot. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar at will.

The dough preparation process is quite long and laborious. For those who are reluctant to bother with blanks, you can buy ready-made puff pastry in the store.

Banana and Cheese Toasts

People who can make a gorgeous breakfast dish using simple products can use the following recipe.

 

To make two toasts you will need:

  • banana - 1 pc.;
  • hard cheese - 50 g;
  • white bread - 4 slices;
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • milk - 3-4 tbsp. l .;
  • sugar - 1 tsp;
  • honey - 1 tsp;
  • cooking oil.

We make toasts in this way:

  1. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater, mix with sugar and honey.
  2. Kneading a banana with a fork, we send the gruel to the cheese mass. Mix everything until smooth.
  3. Beat milk with an egg. We cut the crusts from the bread and distribute the cheese-banana mass into two slices. Smear bread to the brim so that the filling does not leak.
  4. Cover the smeared slices with the second part and dip in the egg mixture.
  5. It is necessary to fry the toasts over medium heat, so the cheese will have time to melt. Before serving, cut the toasts in half, decorating with fruit.
