Composition, active substance "Flebodia 600"
The active substance "Phlebodia 600" is diosmin. This is a bioflavonoid, a semisynthetic preparation obtained from plant materials - from the species Teucrium gnaphalodes of the genus Dubrovnik of the family Iasnotkovye, as well as from various plants of the genus Citrus of the Rutov family.
Diosmin is intended only for oral administration, it is not included in local preparations (creams, ointments, gels). It enhances the vasoconstrictive effect of the hormone and the neurotransmitter norepinephrine on the walls of the veins, as a result of which their tone increases (extensibility decreases), blood outflow improves, and congestion decreases. The substance improves lymphatic drainage and reduces capillary permeability.
The effectiveness of diosmin at all stages of venous diseases is clinically confirmed. However, there is no data on its effectiveness in arterial pathologies (sclerotic and inflammatory lesions of the arteries).
Release form “Phlebodia 600" - film-coated tablets, each of which contains 600 mg of diosmin. The composition also contains: talc, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide.
