  5. In the morning, sift flour into a dough, pour zest, vanilla and knead the dough for about 10 minutes. The mass will be sticky, but do not mix flour!
  6. Soak the poppy in water for 30 minutes, drain the liquid. Beat grains with a blender or grind in a mortar, then repeat the process with the addition of sugar. If sweet crystals are added immediately, the filling will become liquid. The made composition should “gain strength”, and the color of the poppy will change to almost black, become oily and shiny.
  7. Put raisins, poppy seed filling in the dough and knead more so that all components are evenly distributed. Leave again to rise.
  8. Place the dough in butter molds. Fill only 2/3 of the volume. Let rise.
  9. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. at 180 degrees. Then lower the temperature to 100 and continue the process for another 20 minutes.
