Ingredients:

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.;
  • lemon - 1 pc.;
  • salt, spices - according to preferences;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tsp.

Step-by-step recipe for cooking fish:

  1. Preparing carcasses: gutting, removing fins. You can leave the head and tail; in this form, the mackerel looks better when served.
  2. I give it to thaw completely, and then rub it on the inside and outside with the juice squeezed from half a lemon, salt and seasonings.
  3. I cut the second part of citrus into semicircular slices and stuff them with the abdomen.
  4. I cut off 2 pieces of foil.They should be of such a size that you can wrap the carcass tightly without leaving holes. I lubricate them with vegetable oil on one side.
  5. I spread the mackerel, carefully pack it, place it on a baking sheet.
  6. I send in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

Tip. For baking, choose carcasses weighing at least 350 g. Smaller specimens turn out to be rather dry.

Most often, fish is served with fried, boiled or mashed potatoes. I propose to "dilute" the usual combination of zucchini, tomatoes and herbs. So you get a hearty and vitamin-rich lunch or dinner, and its calorie content will be low.

Ingredients:

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.;
  • potatoes - 3-5 pcs.;
  • small zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • water - 200 ml;
  • basil - 5-7 branches;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • salt, seasonings - to taste.

How do I cook:

  1. I clean and cut the carcass into slices, let it thaw, and then rub it with salt and spices.
  2. I let the chopped onions and grated carrots in vegetable oil in the "Frying" mode for 5-7 minutes.
  3. During this time, I cut potatoes and zucchini into cubes, tomatoes into circles, chopped basil.
  4. I mix vegetables, with the exception of tomatoes, with frying, salt and seasoning.
  5. I level the mass with a spatula, lay out the pieces of mackerel.
  6. I spread mugs of tomatoes on top of the fish, salt them again and sprinkle with spices.
  7. Carefully pour water in, close the lid of the appliance and set the mode “Extinguishing” for 40 minutes.
  8. 7-10 minutes before the end of the process, sprinkle the dish with basil. Before serving, let me brew a little under the lid.

On a note. Zucchini can be replaced with eggplant. Only before slicing it should be soaked in boiling water for 5-7 minutes - this will help get rid of the characteristic bitterness.

Braised mackerel turns out to be fresh, and not everyone likes it. I propose to cook it with carrots, onions and tomato paste. Fragrant frying seasoned with vinegar and spices will be a great addition to fish.

Ingredients:

  • carcasses of fish - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • large tomato - 1 pc.;
  • tomato paste - 3 tbsp. l .;
  • vinegar 6% - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • sugar - 1 tsp;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • water - 100 ml;
  • salt, seasonings - by preference.

Operating procedure:

  1. I cut the cleaned carcasses into slices 3-4 cm wide, lay them on a plate and let them thaw. Then season with salt and spices.
  2. I cut onions in half rings, rub carrots on a grater.
  3. Fry vegetables in a pan with a thick bottom for about 10 minutes, adding vegetable oil. They should not only soften, but also become golden.
  4. I introduce the tomato, cut into cubes, and continue cooking until moisture evaporates from it.
  5. Add tomato paste, vinegar, sugar, salt and seasonings. I fry for a couple of minutes, then level the mass with a spatula and lay the pieces of mackerel on top.
  6. I pour in water, cover the dish with a lid and simmer for 25-30 minutes on low heat.

Attention! Vinegar is indicated in such an amount to make the frying slightly acidic. For a more saturated taste, you need to increase the volume to 3-4 tbsp. l

Fish fried in breadcrumbs of flour or in batter is a tasty, but already rather boring dish in many ways. I propose to diversify the diet and cook mackerel in Asian style.

Ingredients:

  • fish carcasses - 3 pcs.;
  • soy sauce - 150 ml;
  • vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • hot pepper, curry - a pinch;
  • paprika - 0.5 tsp;
  • vinegar (preferably rice) - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • flour - 100 g;
  • sesame seeds - 30 g.

Work sequence:

  1. I cut the peeled fish in half along the ridge, remove the bones. Then I divide each piece of fillet into 3-4 slices. With a lack of time, I just cut the gutted carcass across into 4-5 parts without removing the bones.
  2. I connect 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil with vinegar, add hot pepper, curry and paprika, stir.
  3. I rub the thawed mackerel with the resulting marinade, leave for 15 minutes. Then I pour slices of soy sauce and let stand for the same amount.
  4. I mix flour with sesame seeds, heat the remaining vegetable oil in a pan.
  5. Roll the slices of breading in breadcrumbs and fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. They should be covered with a golden crust.

That's all, the fragrant fish is ready! A good addition to it will be baked potatoes, and fans of Asian cuisine can make a salad of funchose on the side.
