In the classic form, beef stroganoff is a beef stew with tender gravy. But you can cook this dish with other types of meat. For example, pork beef stroganoff is especially nutritious, tasty and aromatic.

Pork Beef Stroganoff - classic recipe

It is best to use thick-walled dishes for cooking beef stroganoff. It is in it that the meat will be fried evenly, as a result it will turn out soft and will not burn. In addition to pork (600 g), for the classic recipe for beef stroganoff, you also need to take other products: 300 g of low-fat sour cream, 40 g of wheat flour, 3 onions, any seasonings for meat, salt.

  1. Pork is first cut into large slices and beaten well and only after that it is chopped into thin sticks. Without such preliminary preparation, the meat can be too stiff.
  2. Large vegetable rings of onion are fried in vegetable or butter. In the same dish, pork is cooked to a delicious crust.
  3. After about 7-10 minutes, flour is poured into the container. It should cover all the ingredients, so you need to mix them thoroughly.
  4. Sour cream and a small amount of water are poured to the meat with onions. It remains to add salt, seasonings and simmer the dish over low heat for 25 minutes.

Ready-made classic beef stroganoff is sprinkled with a lot of chopped fresh herbs. You can add to it thin slices of garlic.

Creamy Mushroom Recipe

 

Cream and mushrooms will help to improve the popular meat dish. But it is best to take not forest, but champignons (5-7 pcs.). You will also need to use: 250 g of pork pulp, 220 ml. fat cream (not less than 20%, but better - 33%), 170 ml. meat broth, 1 onion, salt, spices.

  1. The meat is cut across the fibers with a thick straw (approximately 4 by 1.5 cm), and then fried in oil or fat for 10 minutes.
  2. Pork chopped in any convenient way is added to the pan to the pork. When its slices become soft and almost transparent, thin slices of mushrooms are sent to the mass. Together, the ingredients are fried with constant stirring.
  3. The broth is poured to the meat with onions and mushrooms. Stew foods until the liquid has evaporated by about half.
  4. The above ingredients are seasoned with cream, seasonings and salt. Together they cook another 10-12 minutes.

The resulting creamy mushroom beef stroganoff goes well with mashed potatoes and any pasta. A gentle gravy will replace the sauce and other similar garnish additives.

Tender pork beef stroganoff with cream sauce and tomatoes

To prepare this option beef stroganoff will require a little more time. But the resulting dish will be a worthy guest, even for a festive table. Tomatoes add brightness to it and make the appearance of meat with gravy even more appetizing.

Need to take: 600 g of meat pulp, 2 white onions, 150 ml. low-fat cream, 60 g. tomato paste (without salt and any additives), 2 large tomatoes, 70 g. butter, 50 ml. any vegetable oil, a mixture of peppers, any spices, salt.

Tasty recipe: chicken beef stroganoff

  1. Preliminary preparation of meat is important. Pork is thoroughly washed with cold water, dried with a paper towel and cleaned of excess fat and veins. It remains to cut it into thin long slices and lightly beat off with a special hammer.
  2. A mixture of two types of oils is well heated, after which pieces of meat are dipped into it. They should be covered with a thin crust, but at the same time they should retain their juiciness inside.
  3. The onion is finely chopped and sent to the pork. Tomatoes are rubbed on a coarse grater (most of the skin should remain in the hands of the cook) and are also added to the meat. The ingredients are salted, mimicked and cooked for another 10 minutes over low heat.
  4. When the onion becomes golden, you can pour flour into the pan. It should cover all the components.
  5. It remains only to pour cream and tomato paste into the container, mix the mass thoroughly and cook it at the very minimum heat under the lid for another 15-20 minutes. You can remove the pan from the stove when the meat is soft and tender.

The finished dish can be served with buckwheat, boiled green beans and broccoli. In general, any side dishes are well suited to it.

If the house has a slow cooker, then it can also be used for cooking beef stroganoff.

The model of the device does not matter. For beef stroganoff in a slow cooker you need to take: 600 g meat cuts, 90 g low-fat sour cream, 1 white onion, 60 g flour, 1 tbsp. tomato paste without additives, salt, spices.

  1. The meat is washed with water, dried, cut into small slices and cooked in the "Frying" mode with constant stirring until a delicious crust appears.
  2. Chopped onions, salt, seasonings are added to the pork, and together the ingredients are cooked for another couple of minutes.
  3. Sour cream, tomato paste, flour and a small amount of water are sent to meat. The mass is thoroughly mixed so that there are no lumps in it.
  4. The dish is cooked in the "Extinguishing" mode with a closed lid for 30 minutes.

If in the end the meat turned out to be harsh, you can leave it in the Multicooker mode “Heating” for another 20-25 minutes so that the pork is soaked in the resulting sauce.

With Lithuanian pickles

The main feature of the Lithuanian variant of cooking beef stroganoff is the presence of finely chopped barrel pickles (1-2 pcs.) And mustard (1 tablespoon). They give the dish a special piquancy. In addition to these ingredients, you will also need to take: 600 g of meat, 1 onion, 300 g of cream (minimum fat content), 50 g of wheat flour, 1 tbsp. tomato sauce or mild ketchup, salt, seasoning.The following details how to cook beef stroganoff from pork in Lithuanian.

  1. Onion sliced ​​into thin rings is fried in oil until soft. After that, pickled chopped pickles are added to it.
  2. Strips of pork are abundantly sprinkled with flour and quickly fried in a separate pan. 3-5 minutes are enough.
  3. Onions sent with onions with cucumbers, mustard, tomato paste, cold cream, salt, spices. All ingredients are mixed well and left to simmer over low heat. When the meat becomes soft and the sauce thickens, the dish is completely ready.

With gravy in milk

  1. Pork cut into strips is thoroughly fried in a pan until all the liquid has evaporated from it.
  2. Grated carrots and chopped onions in any convenient way are added to the meat. Together, the ingredients are cooked over low heat until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Flour is poured into cold milk, and after whipping, the liquid is poured into a pan with meat.
  4. It remains to add salt, spices and stew the treat until soft pork.

Ready gravy should be quite thick. If its consistency does not change for a long time, you can add a little more flour to the pan.

Pork Stroganoff with mushrooms

As the basis for pouring for such a dish, you can use both heavy cream and sour cream (200 g). Mushrooms (250 g) are also suitable for a variety of different ones - both forest fresh or dried, and champignons. In addition to these components, you must also take: 600 g of meat, 1 onion, 2 tbsp. flour, salt, spices.

  1. The meat and onions are cut into small pieces, and then together they need to be fried until the vegetable is soft.
  2. If the mushrooms are dried, then they are first soaked. Fresh product is immediately sliced ​​or in any other convenient way.
  3. Mushrooms are laid to meat with onions, after which salt and selected spices are sent to the pan.
  4. It remains to add flour to the products, mix everything thoroughly and fry for 3-5 minutes.
  5. At the very end, cream is poured into the meat with vegetables and mushrooms (or sour cream is added).
  6. Beef stroganoff will be stewed for about half an hour under a closed lid on the slowest fire.

The degree of readiness of the treat is always determined by pork. If it is too stiff, the recommended longing time can be extended.
