  • turnip onion - 1 pc.;
  • chopped peas - 300 g;
  • pepper fruit;

  • cloves of garlic - 2 pcs.;
  • sweet carrots - 1 pc.;
  • laurel leaf, spices, salt.

Order of preparation:

  1. Thoroughly rinse the yellow cereal until the liquid is clean and clear. We leave the peas for an hour (or even for the night) in a large amount of water so that the grain is saturated with moisture, swells and becomes soft.
  2. Separate the meat from the bones. We put the last into the pan. The strained and washed peas are also placed here.
  3. We fill the container with two and a half liters of drinking water. Boil the products for about 1.5 hours on a quiet fire after the boiling begins, until the peas become soft. Do not forget to remove the foam.
  4. We peel the vegetables, finely chop the onion, rub the carrots, chop the Bulgarian fruit (remove the seeds). We pass the products to transparency. At the end, attach the garlic cloves passed through the press.
  5. When the peas have almost turned into a mass resembling mashed potatoes, but still not completely cooked, add potatoes chopped into small cubes to it. Season the composition with salt and pepper, throw a leaf of laurel.
