  • greens - a bunch;
  • curry, paprika - 1⁄2 tsp;
  • refined oil - for frying;
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

On a note. To cut meatballs, unlike cutlets, it is possible only in flour. The best option is rice, but if not, take wheat.

How to cook a dish:

  1. I sort and wash the rice, boil in salted water over medium heat for 15 minutes. It is not necessary to bring the cereal to readiness. Then I drain the liquid, let the grains cool.
  2. Finely chop the onion, crush garlic cloves in the press. You can use a meat grinder.
  3. I mix the prepared ingredients with pork and ground beef, drive an egg, salt, pepper, knead until smooth.
  4. I form small balls from the mass at the rate of 2-3 pcs. per serving.
  5. I roll the blanks in flour, fry in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. I make the fire medium.
  6. I spread the portions in a form with high sides, and in the same fat where they were fried, let the remaining flour on a quiet fire until golden, stirring constantly.
  7. After a few minutes I introduce sour cream, curry and paprika, slightly add salt and pour in water, intensify heating to medium.
  8. Stirring, bring the gravy to a boil, then pour it on meatballs.
  9. Sending bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. When serving, sprinkle with chopped herbs.

Tip. If the dish seems a little fresh, add 2-3 tbsp to the sour cream gravy. l mustard sauce.

This is a recipe for lovers of fried crust on meat dishes. A hot tomato sauce with garlic and aromatic greens will complement the roast meatballs. I recommend to try!

  • minced meat - 1 kg;
  • rice - 250 g;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • flour - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • Bulgarian red pepper - 2 fruits;
  • hot pepper - half the pod (if you have a powder seasoning, then 1⁄2 tsp);
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • large tomatoes - 3 pcs. (4 tbsp. l. tomato paste can be replaced);
  • water - 1 cup;
  • cilantro, basil - in half a bunch;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - for frying.

Tip. To cook meatballs in a pan, it is better to take ground beef - this meat is denser than pork or poultry, and meat balls will not fall apart when stewed in a liquid sauce.

Sequencing:

  1. I boil the rice, not making it ready, for 10-15 minutes. Cool by spreading on a plate or placing in a colander.
  2. Add the cereal to the minced meat, introduce the egg, finely chopped onion, salt and spices. I mix until smooth, form balls, about 14-16 pieces. They should all fit in a pan, so focus on its size.
  3. I roll meatballs in flour and fry in vegetable oil for 5 minutes on each side. I set the fire to medium. Servings can be removed when they are covered with a uniform crust.
  4. In the same pan I let the second onion cut in half rings, chopped in the same way Bulgarian and hot pepper, crushed garlic. A few minutes later, when they become soft, I introduce carrots grated on a coarse grater.
  5. I fry the mixture for a quarter of an hour, and then put the diced tomatoes, wait until the juice evaporates from them, then pour in the water. If you have tomato paste, add it to the roast, pre-mixed with water.
  6. I wait for the gravy to boil, and then gently distribute the meatballs in the pan. I close the lid and the carcass for 15 minutes at low heat.
  7. During this time, cut the greens and put it in the dish. I languish for another 5-10 minutes in a closed pan and turn off the burner.

  5. I pour water into the bowl of the multicooker (it’s better already hot), set the container with meat balls, turn on the “Steamed” mode and cook for 30 minutes with the appliance lid closed.

Now it remains to decide which sauce to serve with the dish. I propose to make mushroom. Boil champignons, mushrooms or oyster mushrooms, finely chop, and then place in a pan, where the flour is already a little toasted without adding fat (2-3 tbsp. L.). Pour in water, milk, cream or diluted sour cream. Salt, season to taste and boil over medium heat, stirring regularly, for 10 minutes.
